Having good footwork is arguably the most important part of fighting. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
And having technique, when to do the takedown or the KO punch with the help of the footwork of course
I agree 💯. Some people say it's wrestling but I partially disagree. Wrestling is very important, but plenty of guys can wrestle. But not many guys have good footwork. And fewer people have exceptional footwork
@HowToMMA 12 agreed 👍🏼
there's no arguing about it.
UNLEASHING POTENTIAL - PSYCHOLOGY VIDEOS I think know how to generate power is most important.
no silly talk, no BS, just straight concise information. Love your professionalism. It's so annoying when having to listen to (so called) professionals talking crap when all I want is information. Thats why I love your videos. Keep up the good work.
0:43 Step In, Jab
1:15 Step Back, Cross
1:34 Step Left, Step Right
2:03 Boxer’s Bounce
2:25 Pivot 90 Deg, Hook
Thank you

I appreciate this. I've been struggling to knit both stances together recently, and this fits the bill just nice! Simple, to the point, ergonomic coordination. 3 rounds then on to shadow boxing THANKS!
Thanks Shane, I've just done this workout twice through with some push ups in between. It's definately made me realise my balance needs work. Going to incorporate this into a warm up daily with the local boxing gym shut and training partner isolating!

Bro do you have any more instructional videos like this one. I liked this one a lot because you put it in perspective. I have bad perception. I also like that you time it to help us work on it while watching it. Saves this and added it to my it's own folder.

Kick punch, it’s all in the mind
If you wanna test me

Nice drill Shane!
Thanks again man . I made this a warm up routine
Amazing video help so much thx🙏
There is a video of Lomachenko where he states that pivoting with the rear leg is a "mistake" or rather not the best way to pivot. When (orthodox stance) you want to pivot and face to the right you just bend and turn your lead leg to the right and then pivot your rear leg. He said that this is the best way to keep your balance in a fight and I would say he backs it up, he is the best in terms of footwork. I wonder why this isn't taught more often by coaches.
JoHnSapla7 would love more insight or even a link to the video
@@jomarvictoria2177 the matrix decoded Lomachenko by a channel called fight hub TV or something. It is toward the end of the video but the whole video is worth watching.
How else you gonna pivoting
Awesome follow along Shane keep it up
Thanks Shane!

This is great for warming up!
Bro coming from me Kevin Tiger Cooper Boxing Journeymen (1-18-1 ) this video is really benefecial. It helped me a whole lot I see the difference in the step it helps you get closer to your target and having footwork is mandatory if you want to stay around in any contact sport. Man thanks a million bro and keep up the videos.
amazing drills!
Thank you Shane
This is great. Make a part 2 with rear hooks, uppercuts, overhands, all that good stuff.

Shane, you are the best
Great one, Thnx
I love the recent footwork drill videos you have been doing. Can you do some videos on footwork and combo drills for Muay Thai?
I used this because of the aggressive sparred I’m coming up against so just trying to utilise my footwork to maintain where my position is so I don’t get caught up in a corner . This vid was great for it!
Same here bro I got whooped like a sandbag today, only way to counter is to position myself better by using footwork
Great Job! Bom trabalho!
This video got me to where I am today 🔥💯 step in with the jab
These drills are awesome!! Can you please do a video like this for setting up powerful kicks??
It’s like DDR but with martial arts thrown in. I like it! New workout material!
Wow. Thanks!
