How to Close Off Distance:
1. Korean Wavedash
2. Casually Walk like Yujiro Hanma
3. Frontflip/Dodgeroll over or under Hadoukens
4. Leroy Jenkins
The yujiro part is like a big dude just walking towards you unaffected by your attacks and just straight out push you down and rape you still unaffected by your attacks

Great channel!
Bullies suck
RC oh my god. It’s him! Lmao, remember seeing it many years ago.

Shane, I've been training Krav Maga and we went from hitting pads to sparring. Which is all good, except a couple of the more experienced guys always want to go a bit harder and seem to enjoy putting fist to face. I really appreciate your videos that have shown me how to defend myself better, string combos, and throw some counters. You're literally saving me brain cells, lol.
Krav Maga is a scam unless they are stealing techniques from other disciplines. It’s a way for Israelis to take money from Americans like the million other ways they do. Do mma instead
Shane's form is ridiculously good.

This is something El Cucuy would say :D
Fight Inception or a Parallel Universe perhaps? 🤔
Then start the Ricardo music
I'm grateful I actually READ the comment before checking it live & had that "l o l moment😑" because it would have felt estranged to STILL do so after the fact; like the utoob police would blow a whistle.
Shane I swear you can read my mind. I was thinking about how to improve my footwork and now you upload this video 😂😂

Great Video Shane!! You have inspired me to pursue my goal and to help others in their martial arts journey. Thank you, keep up the amazing work!
Your teaching skills are a blast, you're able to get to the point within 10 seconds, seems nice and very encouraging and when you're showing an example of your technique, it's amazingly clean, this is pedagogy. Thanks a lot for your work from France !
Appreciate the camera always showing the footwork, thanks!
Thank you shane much love for you and your channel.. I'm a muay thai fighter now. So much love and respect from india 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
Love this video Shane! You’re great at explaining and breaking down the technique behind the footwork and angles. Amazing video bro 🤟💯
Shane looking sharp!!! And Ricardo improved so much in a year, impresive!
This is such gold for me because I've had this problem where I don't commit to my entrance strategies. And they work but I chicken out, this helps. And it taught me to visualise what happens after the entry and exit.
Shane and Zabit make a good team
Your videos are outstanding. Just got home from sparring and reflecting on what needs to be improved. Thanks for the tips! 🥊
Thank you, Shane. Those closing the distance punch combinations and strategies are simple yet very effective and practical.

Thank you for the tips. You are a great influence to counter bullies. Props to you!
Thanks Shane your fighting has helped me so much
All the combos are built upon the jab. Very nice!
As i watch this great video
Shane is talking about the tatics and strategies of Shorter Boxer
These are :
1.Head Movements (Slips_Pull_Duck)
2.Getting Inside by Stepping in with your counter
I really love the gazelle punch from Mike Tyson. I'd love to see it alot more often
Been waiting for this from yesterday
Outstanding stuff! Thank you
Thanks for not forgetting us Southpaws!
Thank you Shane for all you do for us
This is very helpful bro the delivery of the technique is great.
I was just thinking of this... Thank you so much!
Thats what i was looking from a long time 👍🏻🔥
I was just saying on icy mikes channel that this is probably the thing that confuses me in concept the most. Thanks for the video shane.
This is brilliant!
Excellent footwork Shane.
I'm a sherdogger so I'm already tough but this channel is taking me to the next level.
Great thing about this video is that the combos are short and effective. You definitely have enough time to pull these off in a fight if you are precise and fast. Most combo videos on RUclips are too long.. 4 to 5 combos stringed together as if you're juggling on Tekken lol.
In a real fight, you can probably get 2 or 3 punches in before the dude gets an adrenaline rush and counters. Which is exactly what Shane demonstrated here. Brilliant video!!
10/10 best channel on RUclips I love fight tips!!
Im watching this while sitting in bed eating gummy worms
biggie Grass I used to be like that, bro. It’s unhealthy, I know it’s hard but try to never eat junk food again

Good for you.

I needed this video. Thanks
Thank you so much for sharing stuff like this
Great video. Can you do some Muay Thai distance closing stuff? With not only boxing(but boxing as well of course) but also roundhouses, teeps, and knees? A video like this would be perfect for that.
Thank you so much for the great content
Right on time, I've got a sparring session in 15 minutes. Gonna hit'em with some new moves.
@@ijustbezay tl;dr: find another boxing gym.
woha, seems like you're in a gym full of assholes. Knocking out a beginner 3 times? Where is the benefit in that? No one learned shit that session. All they have achieved is an aspiring boxer who now says fighting is not for him.
Normal people ask you whether you want light or hard sparring. If you say nothing, they go by the power of the punches you dish out.
Your techniques is best shane i love your technique
Best Channel on RUclips !
That footwork is immaculate.
Thanks Shane and Ricardo !
I am far more comfortable inside the bubble than I am outside of it. Great video 🤙🏻
The double jab is super underrated
I really like these combos. They certainly feel a bit more advance. 👍🏼
good shit mane👌
The bubble thing is also in an anime called Kenichi: Mightiest Deciple. In there it's called the Seikuken

Man ur really great... Just wanna ask... Could you maybe some day give a video tip from the other perspective... How to fight as a taller guy? 😅 I know there is one about aggressive opponents but I would like one specifically from the taller guy perspective 😅
Btw. I have 2m so that kinda sums my point... 😂
This is wonderful
Great video boss
Would love to see entry combos for muy thai and/or kickboxing
I like the right uppercut vs the left straight or jab with a little movement.
Hey Chewy I’ve been watching your videos for a while now and I like them even though I train Muay Thai it still gives me tips. My question today is what do I do because I’m at a gym right now where it’s in a church with not the best facilities as it’s a small space with carpet I like the trainer he’s legit but I’m not sure if it’s best in the long run as I want to compete and have fights however I don’t believe anyone has had a fight there in the last few years or ever he himself has but I’m unsure if it’s at the current gym should I stay or should I go to a different one where I live that has fight cards every 3 months. Thank you
but please can you help I need some advice and guidance please
Tanks man
Luv you Shane

Hey Shane, is there anyway you could do a video on what the best gloves/shin guards are for guys just joining an MMA gym? Best bang for the buck kinda thing.
Fighttips gear 😁👍 Opening the shop back up next week!
Thanks again Shane 👇👇👇
My Canadian buddy always swears by adding an elbow to the chin as follow through. This conflicts with what i was taught while younger as using hammer fist. jab-hammer fist. Any advice? Am still trying to work my way through the fog of war after getting punched in the face. Having a plan is really essential and i am grateful to you guys and your crew.
very nice!
I like the first combo but if your opponent is like Thomas Hearns, God help you. He was a specialist in countering this combo. Cheers for the video though!
He also had unhuman reach so you won't easily find someone like him
My greatest fascination in boxing is throwing punches that are also blocks simultaneously. For example, in Pacquiao vs. Hatton, the first lead hook that knocked Hatton down.
Got any seminars for Muay Thai in Uk soon ?
Nice video 👍
You should make a video of you doing all those combos on the bag
Amazingly useful! I can't wait to go to the gym and try this out. Thanks!!!
I always recognize the bubble. I learned about it from an anime called Kenichi the mightiest disciple.
Show de aula 💪
Hey, I was just wondering if anyone can help me in my current situation. At school today this kid kept messing with and when I asked him why he said "If you keep looking at me I'm going to stick you", and I don't understand why since I have never spoke to him but it definitely has me scared because he is probably 4 inches taller than me and 50-70 pounds heavier than me and I really don't want any trouble. I run track and field in the spring and if I get into a fight I'm off the team and last time I got into a fight I broke my hand, and don't tell me "just tell a teacher" because I won't, if I did that I'd be in far worst situation than I am now.
Don't worry about getting kicked off the team, defend yourself. Staying on a team for running isn't worth getting beat up or hurt over. And if they kick you off for defending yourself it's not a team you want to be on. Ignore/avoid the dude but if he attacks you or you feel like he's about to then nail him with a hard liver shot. It's debilitating, you won't break your hand, and no one is ever expecting the body shot. He'll leave you the fuck alone after that. If he's serious about sticking you, and you think he really has a knife, that shit is no joke, tell an authority figure
u probably alr fought up but tell me u either beat the fuck outta his fatass or ran tf away
Roll with the punches fr bro, and remember no matter his size your quickness is key
As a former martial arts instructor I can tell you what can help and in general works in an educational environment. Sorry for the late reply but this could help someone else. in general being loud in a public situation is a great strategy because people in “bullying or aggressive’ situations. Just saying something like “ What’s wrong with you?” Or yelling “ Stop!” Not only will check an aggressor because now you are confronting their reality of “might makes right” and points the finger to them as being the one that has a problem. Second it brings awareness to everyone around that there’s a problem, including teachers nearby. The idea is to teach that person that 1. using violence is the wrong way to go about solving problems and 2. You are not an easy target. Then quickly find a buddy and ask him to help you with homework or something and get yourself away from the situation. Basically you need to be of the mindset that you don’t have time to deal with someone like that. If it gets further than this, which it shouldn’t, talk with your parents and ask them for help in dealing with the teachers or even the kids parents if they happen to know each other. Most parents don’t want their kids being bullies. At this point if you’ve exhausted all resources , you have at least earned the right to ask your parents for martial arts lessons, and I guarantee you once you start training, you will be better off than that person, because someone who has had a good training background would most likely not act like that.
i just bought a 40lbs bag and 16oz gloves. im craving a new passion in getting the cardio and shape of a boxer. while learning how to punch and gain control of my form
