    How to Close Off Distance:
    1. Korean Wavedash
    2. Casually Walk like Yujiro Hanma
    3. Frontflip/Dodgeroll over or under Hadoukens
    4. Leroy Jenkins

    Shane, I've been training Krav Maga and we went from hitting pads to sparring. Which is all good, except a couple of the more experienced guys always want to go a bit harder and seem to enjoy putting fist to face. I really appreciate your videos that have shown me how to defend myself better, string combos, and throw some counters. You're literally saving me brain cells, lol.

    • @NaymitMayne
      @NaymitMayne Год назад

      Krav Maga is a scam unless they are stealing techniques from other disciplines. It’s a way for Israelis to take money from Americans like the million other ways they do. Do mma instead

    Great thing about this video is that the combos are short and effective. You definitely have enough time to pull these off in a fight if you are precise and fast. Most combo videos on RUclips are too long.. 4 to 5 combos stringed together as if you're juggling on Tekken lol.
    In a real fight, you can probably get 2 or 3 punches in before the dude gets an adrenaline rush and counters. Which is exactly what Shane demonstrated here. Brilliant video!!

      woha, seems like you're in a gym full of assholes. Knocking out a beginner 3 times? Where is the benefit in that? No one learned shit that session. All they have achieved is an aspiring boxer who now says fighting is not for him.

    Hey, I was just wondering if anyone can help me in my current situation. At school today this kid kept messing with and when I asked him why he said "If you keep looking at me I'm going to stick you", and I don't understand why since I have never spoke to him but it definitely has me scared because he is probably 4 inches taller than me and 50-70 pounds heavier than me and I really don't want any trouble. I run track and field in the spring and if I get into a fight I'm off the team and last time I got into a fight I broke my hand, and don't tell me "just tell a teacher" because I won't, if I did that I'd be in far worst situation than I am now.

      Don't worry about getting kicked off the team, defend yourself. Staying on a team for running isn't worth getting beat up or hurt over. And if they kick you off for defending yourself it's not a team you want to be on. Ignore/avoid the dude but if he attacks you or you feel like he's about to then nail him with a hard liver shot. It's debilitating, you won't break your hand, and no one is ever expecting the body shot. He'll leave you the fuck alone after that. If he's serious about sticking you, and you think he really has a knife, that shit is no joke, tell an authority figure

      As a former martial arts instructor I can tell you what can help and in general works in an educational environment. Sorry for the late reply but this could help someone else. in general being loud in a public situation is a great strategy because people in “bullying or aggressive’ situations. Just saying something like “ What’s wrong with you?” Or yelling “ Stop!” Not only will check an aggressor because now you are confronting their reality of “might makes right” and points the finger to them as being the one that has a problem. Second it brings awareness to everyone around that there’s a problem, including teachers nearby. The idea is to teach that person that 1. using violence is the wrong way to go about solving problems and 2. You are not an easy target. Then quickly find a buddy and ask him to help you with homework or something and get yourself away from the situation. Basically you need to be of the mindset that you don’t have time to deal with someone like that. If it gets further than this, which it shouldn’t, talk with your parents and ask them for help in dealing with the teachers or even the kids parents if they happen to know each other. Most parents don’t want their kids being bullies. At this point if you’ve exhausted all resources , you have at least earned the right to ask your parents for martial arts lessons, and I guarantee you once you start training, you will be better off than that person, because someone who has had a good training background would most likely not act like that.
