I have been reading The Punisher since late 80s and went back and collected everything prior from Amazing Spider-Man 129. Great Character. To this day I still collect Punisher comics and have every single issue and likely 95% of appearances. All the prestige format one shots they used to do also. Frankencastle could have so easily fallen down like the Angel stuff did - it had that kinda thing about it when I first heard they were doing what they did, but like you said - it was an extremely fun and well crafted read.
But take a look at the listings of those one shots. They are the same as Vol. 6. Even the product description is the same. I think it's a typo, or a place holder. Unless I missed something, the only material left in the Max universe is the Jason Aaron run, which would be a fitting end to the complete collection trade paperback series.
Lately I've been into characters like... daredevil, batman, joker, kingpin, punisher... they really interest me, I just got the max comics of punisher vol 1 and vol 2... I'm trying to break away from the traditional comic hero's such as iron man, thor.... and get more into darker characters... question do they have a full graphic of the Kingpin?? But this punisher is all what I expected and then some...I love it.
The first 4 volumes of the Complete Collections collect everything in the Ennis/MAX run plus all the mini's that he did during that time. If you get them you'd read everything starting with Punisher:Born and closing with Punisher:The End. I wanted to get all the volumes but only wanted the Ennis and Aaron material.
I love both Ennis' run and Rucka's run equally and would be all over a Hardcover of the Rucka run. Aaron's run I've never gotten to read so if volume 7 collects his entire run I can't wait to check it out. For me Frank has always been the most human of the Marvel Universe characters. He has no moral compass, but that allows him to do things others would not.
Ennis is overrated. He had the dude make a deal with the devil just because he needed to kill people. That deal is why his family is dead....so in a sense he made it Franks fault that his family died. OVERRATED. The Max run was good when it was serious but his origin story attempted to destroy my love for Punisher. I think if I started reading BORN first I would hate the Punisher. Year One is a great story and good place to start but don't start with Ennis if you want Punisher to make sense. Rucka definitely had one of the best Punisher runs imo. Suicide Run and The Cell by Ennis were some of my favorite stories.
I got Garth Ennis Marvel Knights Punisher, should be arriving the first days of october, I hope it's good.
SiliconPowerII it's amazing

THANK YOU! This is exactly what I was looking for o help me decide which series to get!
Welcome Back Frank
some likes spiderman, others batman, but for me, mine is The Punisher.
MY top 3 favorite heros
Daredevil
Hopefully they reprint the Jason Aaron omnibus and Rick Remender one . Finally picked up the marvel knights one after years of waiting.
Marvel is printing Aaron's Punisher MAX, but not the HC Omnibus, it's the vol 7 of the ultimate collections and it's the whole run in one volume.

My favorite Punisher run is approximately the first 7 to 10 issues of Punisher War Zone. Chuck Dixon and John Romita Jr did a fantastic job on it!

There is a KingPin Mini-Series.
I loved Welcome Back, Frank. It felt like Punisher set in the Preacher universe to me.
Glad you're back!
I’ve been reading some Max comics Punisher and it’s really good
Awesome character. I've loved him for a long time. Can't wait till we get to see Frank again soon.
I am sold on Rucka. I always thought of punisher as a force of nature. Ima def buy
Trying to fish together the Ennis MAX-run, but many of the volumes are out of stock in both Bookdepository, Amazon, and even in InStockTrades.... :/
I think the only readily available editions of MAX are the complete collections.

Did they sell out that fast on inststocktrades? I just bought it a few weeks back
the punisher max omni is getting reprinted in may '18, so that might interest you.
Just ordered this... came wait!
Great video, you should deffo make this a series
I reccomend reading Garth ennis’ marvel knights run then read ennis’ max run starting with born
thx for the vid and have a great day.
Thoughts on the Back to the War run???
Are you talking about platoon MAX? I think it's great!
Anything written by Mike Baron is worth collecting.
I just started in the beginning.
I really enjoyed Punisher Max run granted I never finished it. Which I don't remember why hmm
Where should I start reading with the Garth Ennis Punisher?
At the beginning, punisher MAX volume 1
I didn't even realize you changed your name
Still going to do a special review of slavers

im trying to find Punisher: The Cell. help?
Do you think netflix will do the slavers arc?
Lee Fair can't imagine them doing it without watering down some of the more impactful moments.
Jake : What the fuck do you call 125 murders in 5 years?
The Punisher : Work in progress.
Great video. I'm mostly a Batman reader, but I want to get into Punisher because, basically, he's not a pussy.
Hey, man, why did you change your name? I've always known you as HC so it's kinda weird.
garth ennis punisher is the only punisher for me.
That Alex Maleev Punisher variant is proof that Maleev need to do the interior art on a Punisher book.
The punisher is not a hero, he's an anti-hero. The likes of Marv or John Hardigan in Sin City.
The max punisher comics aren’t on the marvel app. That’s how I read all my comics
Frankencaslte was so stupid!
Frankencastle was an abomination in writing.

Rodney Jones It was never confirmed that he made a deal with the Devil tho, that’s just a fan theory, Frank Castle could very well be a Schizophrenic
