Great video and explained well. Mignola's Hellbound/BPRD Universe is hella cool and can seem overwhelming for those who are just coming into it. Where to start or who's who and when & where. This video boils a lot down into concise digestible sections. And I agree with the library edition choice as well. And lastly Thank you Mike Mignola for bring us one of the coolest and most original universe out there. Along with (for my money anyways) INVINCIBLE. Another favorite of mine.

Without a doubt the most ambitious and best comics horror universe. And some of these are a lasting masterpieces of the 9th art. If I had to pick a favorite it would probably be The Chained Coffin.
I was able to purchase all 6 of the HELLBOY libraries, but i was not so lucky with the b.p.r.d. plague of frogs hardcovers, so i had to get them in softcover format, I wish that i had of got to them sooner.
You got the stories that the important thing, the packaging is just details. Even if they are TPB they still look sweet and are proably a touch lighter as well.

The art remains top-notch, but the story is not grabbing me the way Hellboy and BPRD did. Just wondering if you're ever going to review these arcs in separate videos? Hi, I'm following your reading order and I am now up to volume 7 but I noticed that at the end of 6 the story was started to get dark/depressing/sad... And I don't want to read that type of story (I can find sad in reality I use books to escapee reality)... So my question to you is: WHEN SHOULD I STOP READING??? its a dark series dude it has constant ups and downs, the conclusion is very satisfying though, i think i remember there being some really happy moment in wild hunt.

Good video. I suggested reading Lobster Johnson vol 1 before reading sledgehammer 44 because the suit is introduced in that volume.
