Oh dear goodness. Thank you for this video. It helped me to decide not to get an older Volt in the rust belt because the big, expensive, hard-to-get EV battery is under the car, which means it would be a nightmare having salt brine spray all over it every winter.
Thanks for sharing. Good job! I'm getting ready to do the same job on my 2014. I'm glad I have a 4 post lift. It will make it much easier, but I know guys have done the job without a lift. It would be nice if there was a little more room in the front where the connectors are. Did the replacement battery work OK?
We never got a good used battery. I suggest going with a new one problem is they’re so damn expensive and most people get rid of the car that is so sad.
Sorry about that voice text and you have to use a scanner to bleed the cooling system. If I remember right it’s not a special coolant antifreeze I mean.

Unfortunately the replacement battery was also bad. That being said research says it’s very hard to find a used battery that’s any good.
Have you had any chance to replace your battery? I am also planning to change the battery in my garage
what were the signs of his battery cell going bad? i have a 2012 and just curious. Great vid btw!
Intermittently it wouldn’t start and put a failure code in the system it was actually diagnosed by Chevrolet dealership
Did you ever get a good battery to make the Chevy bolt run again

Just remember that GM will have to program it for you after you replace the battery. Yeah your key fobs working.
