I have to agree. At 50 minute, the #13 Argentina (he faked pain and fell) player kicked on the #23 Ecuador player (who was really in pain and fell). That's definitely a yellow card. Another time Argentina played kicked shin of an Ecuodor player and no card was issued. There were other incident on playes from both teams. The referee was not consistent at all.

I have to agree. At 50 minute, the #13 Argentina (he faked pain and fell) player kicked on the #23 Ecuador player (who was really in pain and fell). That's definitely a yellow card. Another time Argentina played kicked shin of an Ecuodor player and no card was issued. There were other incident on playes from both teams. The referee was not consistent at all.

Was wondering why they didn’t do that. All the purists will disagree with me, but penalty kicks are the lamest way to end a match. You play all that time just to have it come down to some gimmick. Add 30 mins and play 9 on 9. Someone will score with all the open space.
