    Q. Velocidrone gravity vs Liftoff gravity because I have liftoff and seems the drones fells like have less gravity.
    I see the drone in liftoff are suspended more in the air that’s what I’m said.

    • @QuickFlights
      @QuickFlights  3 года назад

      I think a combination of both drag and gravity, drones just don't travel as far on idle throttle in Velocidrone compared to Liftoff, that's where the complaints about the floatiness come from for Liftoff.

    While agreeing with most about what you said about handling, this statement is kinda weird to me: "They both feature great graphics compared to other drone simulators in the market" To which simulators did you compare that? Both look absolutely crappy in comparison to DCL or even DRL. Especially Velocidrone. Verlocidrone looks like a game from 1999 and I have no clue how anyone could say they "feature great graphics". I frankly dropped Velocidrone because it looked so bad and some maps feel very halfheartedly made (I e.g. got stuck underneath a floating tire stack that was just not put onto the ground properly by whoever made the track right at the start). I agree about Velocidrone really nailing the feeling, feeling very realistic in terms of handling. And I first thought I wouldn't care much about the graphics only about handling, which is why I bought Veloci. Turns out, I was wrong. After 10 hours of staring at a dull muddy green plane that's supposed to be grass with 5 trees around it I simply couldn't bear it anymore and switched first to DRL which already looked much better and later to DCL (because I found people playing it on Twitch by sheer accident) which looks WAY better. The maps in DCL are much more enjoyable, interesting and better crafted. They just absolutely killed it with the graphics there. A thing that is sadly completely missing from it though is a map editor.
    If you are 100% into drone racing and only want a sim to improve on that, by all means, get Velocidrone. But if you even slightly find yourself caring about what you stare at for hours to come, don't buy this as your first simulator.
    One thing though: Most people I know end up with multiple simulators anyway. Because of different features like custom map building, racing, playing with friends who only have simulator X etc. So don't be too hard on yourself if you think you bought "the wrong simulator" - you will eventually play it again ^^

      Dubz is correct, I use my transmitter and I highly recommend it, but if you want you could use just an Xbox controller if you have nothing. You could hook up the feed to your goggles or vr setup but the majority of people just fly with it on the monitor.

      @choppergirl 2 года назад +1

      @@QuickFlights I have them all, played them all, and now I only play Uncrashed now... mainly because the Level Load times are blazing fast, and navigating through the UI is blazing fast and straight forward.
      Once your settings are set up though, you just launch the game, click the map you want, and boom, you're in the game. You dont' have to click through half a dozen screens like Velocidrone or sit twiddling your thumbs waiting on the Load screen like Liftoff.
      They used the Unreal engine instead of Unity, so it looks a little different, maybe slightly subpar to Liftoff, but the map loads are 20x faster that Liftoff which makes a world of difference. You'll be asking, how did they do that! Its so fast.. at first...
      Compare Uncrashed's "The Docks" Unreal engine graphcis vs. what you already know, Velocidrone's "Coastal" Shipyard Level or Liftoff's "Hanger C03" level and you can decide for yourself before you buy:
