Also props to the guy laughing his ass off the whole time, Id probably die seeing his show. Man is Schwarznegger of comedy
He'd be the guy that makes everyone start laughing on every talk show cause quote "if ya'll don't laugh it wouldn't make this a show". Went to a talk show once and there was a guy just knew when the jokes were gonna happen and knew when to laugh and cheer so that we would do it.
Bill and Conan have such a deep understanding and "love" for each other.. It's hidden behind the facade of manly demeanor and kidding-but small gestures or a slight change of tone show its existence and that's rather refreshing and touching to watch.
It widely known that they are lovers. Annually they mate on St.patricks day in the canteen of a fire station while the red sox surround them and applaud.
Because he's doing his comedy bit. Every comedian that goes on a talk show just does their routine that people would normally pay to see, they're basically plugging their show that's coming up.
@@michaelzubay816 Yeah. But that what makes Conan one of the best among hosts. He knows when he can "upgrade" the guests performance, and when he should just get out of the way so they don't lose the bit. Really hard to know when to help and when to let it go.
Conan: So Bill how's the weather? Bill: You know what I'm sick and tired of women blaming men for everything *6 minutes of Bill ranting and pure laughter from Conan*
I don't even think the dude is that funny, I don't understand the hype surrounding him. Like he has some funny bits sure but everyone in the comments reckons he's funny all the time and he just isn't. The whole "constant anger" bit is tiring after a while.
Well, if u would understand that hype, being comedian would be objective rather than being subjective. The fact that its product of some subjective experiencing, it wouldnt make sense if everybody loved it. If u are curious, i love the fact that he tells so much about the society dynamics, how things are changing etc. And the fact that his statements are often so bald, daring yet so accurate is making me a fan. For ex: " How false is to say"There is no reason to hit a woman" ".
+PlainSailingWeather That's fine, you don't have to find him funny all the time, comedy is subjective. You can find it annoying and laugh at the bits you do find funny. I personally love Bill Burr and I haven't heard him make an unfunny joke, but that's just me. I'm sure there's some comdedian you love that I don't find funny, and there's nothing wrong with that.
Lol not at all, just don't find the guy that funny. Don't get me wrong, some of his bits are good but his whole shtick is "Look at me, how angry and grumpy I am" that's literally his entire show, as stated in my original comment, it gets tiring.
thing is, some people have hormonal imbalances, fucked up thyroids, genetic problems, and while part of it is just eating less, they have a far harder time staying slim than someone without those issues. People without those issues at all fatshaming people who have to deal with them is kinda fucked up, imo.
@Slumpy Boy of course they can. my point is majority of effortlessly skinny people wouldnt have half the willpower required to do it either, yet judge someone else
@Slumpy Boy as a naturally skinny person its not all sunshine and daisies. Its super hard for me to build muscle mass because of my metabolism. 6 feet tall and 145 pounds naturally no matter how much i eat
Conan was genuinely happy when he was reading Bill was playing MSG. Right before reading it he was saying how good Bill was "finally" getting jokingly cause Conan was one of the ones who always knew Bill is one of the best. So when he saw Bill was selling out the biggest places he was happy for his friend and shook Bills hand. Nice little moment between friends right there.
He wasn't in uniform, he didn't have kids, he had all his limbs, he wasn't limping, he didn't have a cough, he just walked on the plane it's like _WHO THE F**K IS THAT GUY_
Bill just doesn't stop. Podcasts twice a week, F is for Family, occasionally acts in TV and movies and a new hour of stand up every year. That guy has amazing comedy cardio
When I look at Bill Burr, I feel like his content is effortless. It's the rantings of a narcissistic man. If you look at his specials, he looks comfortable and sometimes even interacts with the audience. It's like stand up was made for him: he likes ranting, he's insanely funny and now people are paying so that he can rant non-stop for 2 hours haha
He is so right about the movie Monster. It basically blames all the male victims and somehow makes you believe that she was the poor innocent that had no other option but to kill them all. I'm glad somebody called that bs .(in such a hilarious way xD)
But I thought the whole point of the film was to show how she became a monster - how she went from self-defence to killing an innocent man who was trying to help her?
It's so refreshing to hear Bill speak....dude does not give a rat's ass what anyone thinks. I don't think I've seen Conan laugh much harder than this in a clip....awesome
I have a similar personality - but of course i am not a comedian - and people don't seem to get it that i am not being a grouch, but it is a whole mechanism of dealing with how mediocre and illogical life can get! you see ridiculous and stupid things happening all around you and because it is not your place to correct them, the only way to make peace with their existence is to satirise them, why is that hard to understand?
He only gets hate because he isn't really joking......he's just telling the hard truth in a funny way. I love him for never standing down, and just telling it how it is.
Over the past ten years, Ol' Billy Redface has literally been my therapist with his humor and podcasts. Its crazy, he has no idea who I am, yet played a major role in saving me from severe depression and got me thru the stress of med school. This dude is definitely one of my heroes. Hope to one day cross paths and shake his hand.
Hell yeah! That's awesome actually. I'm sure if he ever read that, he'd be appreciative of you saying that. Than he'd probably tear into ya a bit, but just for fun! (P.S. Don't tell anyone but I gave your comment a thumbs up!) *Whistling* as I'm walking away
This is very well known and almost all standup comedians do this. E.g. Louis CK's late night appearances are full of maturing bits that he has later done in specials.
He's not just "shooting the breeze" man, this is calculated stand up material hes worked on, practiced, tested and tweeked several times before it ever gets to us, the fact that you think it's off the cuff just means Bill is good at what he does and Conan is good at playing to it. Not that it isn't just as hilarious though
I keep coming back to this and it's been over 4 years. The thing I like best is how Conan doesn't try to "save" the joke because he knows Bill's been through worse hecklers (The Philly Incident), so he just lets him be.
Whenever Bill is on his show, Conan is genuinely laughing; not like when he has other guests! Bill Burr is kinda the last true-to-his-feelings comedian out there. You make some of our days on this Earth a little better, everytime you go on those good ol'rants, sir! Good on you shall be bestowed in full for this!
I have a theory that Conan laughs so hard with Bill every interview, is because Conan feels like he's a lil' kid in Boston again, secretly hanging out with the funny, rude, slightly-embarassing kid from the wrong side of the tracks.
I feel Conan always laughs genuinely. He's much more sincere than most of the other hosts in Hollywood. Then again, I can see that Conan genuinely adores Bill Burr, and loves him not only on his show but in real life as well.

Bill Burr is one hell of a rollercoaster.
Bill Burr murders it on Conan on a consistent basis
stevec1989 They’re friends and have compatible humor. Which I why I think Conan is one of the best late night hosts, he just gets it and is actually funny. And he doesn’t worry about being anti PC at times, which Burr is the king of.
Bill needs to have a weekly segment on Conan
He should get his own spot, just like Andy.
Him and Norm MacDonald are his best guests by far.
3:36 Thats why I like Bill. Calls it as he sees it, everyone groans in displeasure cause empathy is so cool and he makes such a solid point it just destroys and gets a round of applause by the normal few. Brutal honesty.
Also props to the guy laughing his ass off the whole time, Id probably die seeing his show. Man is Schwarznegger of comedy
I'm glad empathy is cool tho. The world is anemic and deficient of it.
The “have you seen action” always gets me
Bill on Conan should be it’s own show by itself
*Lenny*
Bill Burr and Conan in a bar, drinking, with occasional appearances by other celebrities.
That one guy in the crowd that lost it to everything Bill said just made it so much better
Matthew Bednarik I’m so happy I wasn’t the only one that loved that
prolly paid to so everyone else laughs
@@ashtray4754 they have paid audiences on conan??
Matthew Bednarik omg i here it 😂
@@nelsondumayaca5568 In your dreams...
Watching Conan fall apart laughing at 5:19 is the best thing I've seen all week.
I like how Bill seemingly goes over and brings him back, like I'm not finished with you yet.
The sarcasm and dissent expressed by just saying a name "Charliiiiiiiizzzze Theron"😃😃
It was as if he called her a cu@t.
I believe the word you were looking for was "disdain."
😂😂😂😂
LOL I caught that. It's one of those names that you can't say correctly without sounding bourgeois & proper.
Neal X thank you. I’d have had to look it up if not for your comment.
The way he says "Charlize Theoron" I wonder if his wife corrected him
That would SO be a Bill Burr thing to do
"Charleeeeze Theron." 😂💀 Like you can just tell he's really annoyed by her name, how people like her, her as a person, etc.
Americans all pronounce her name wrong...
Someone did 😂
It's funny cos, even tho he is a brilliant guy, she is the smart one in that relationship lol😆
Man that one guys laugh is really noticeable
He's projecting. Literally.
Conan's laugh is so annoying.
Sounds like Joe Starr from Screen Junkies
He'd be the guy that makes everyone start laughing on every talk show cause quote "if ya'll don't laugh it wouldn't make this a show". Went to a talk show once and there was a guy just knew when the jokes were gonna happen and knew when to laugh and cheer so that we would do it.
So obnoxious
Bill and Conan have such a deep understanding and "love" for each other.. It's hidden behind the facade of manly demeanor and kidding-but small gestures or a slight change of tone show its existence and that's rather refreshing and touching to watch.
Just a couple of Boston guys
It widely known that they are lovers. Annually they mate on St.patricks day in the canteen of a fire station while the red sox surround them and applaud.
@@EMcCool : and some of the firefighters in the canteen told the press, they had seen you giving the Red Sox a blow job.
I honestly think Bill is Conans inner conscience if he didn’t have to be a late night host
Yeah, guys like Burr and Norm MacDonald are some of his favorite guests, and they're both pretty...blunt.
Yeah, You can clearly see he relates to Bill's world perspective
Wrong! Conan is a 100%, died-in-the-wool, far-left, loony lib. He just likes comedy over politics.
@@thomasluby1754 Are you joking or are you one of those losers who voted for Trump? It's actually kinda hard to tell
You know it's true.
"HAVE YOU SEEN ACTION?!?!?" 😂
Peder Hansen Yea, Not true at all man. Some do, so don’t. Depends on the m.o.s
I think Peter was being sarcastic
I love how Conan just let’s Bill say everything he wants. Love this!
Because he's doing his comedy bit. Every comedian that goes on a talk show just does their routine that people would normally pay to see, they're basically plugging their show that's coming up.
Fallon would have been talking over him.
even johnny carson couldn't calm down bill!
@@michaelzubay816 Yeah. But that what makes Conan one of the best among hosts. He knows when he can "upgrade" the guests performance, and when he should just get out of the way so they don't lose the bit. Really hard to know when to help and when to let it go.
Bill Burr is one of Conan's favorite guests
The fact that Conan (a great comedian in his own right) was visibly unable to contain his laughter… that’s the sign of how legendary Burr really is.
Conan: So Bill how's the weather?
Bill: You know what I'm sick and tired of women blaming men for everything
*6 minutes of Bill ranting and pure laughter from Conan*
@@Volathsyou must be a feminist
Lol not at all, just don't find the guy that funny. Don't get me wrong, some of his bits are good but his whole shtick is "Look at me, how angry and grumpy I am" that's literally his entire show, as stated in my original comment, it gets tiring.
“That fat guys considered disabled because he can’t stop eating cookies” Man is talking facts
thing is, some people have hormonal imbalances, fucked up thyroids, genetic problems, and while part of it is just eating less, they have a far harder time staying slim than someone without those issues. People without those issues at all fatshaming people who have to deal with them is kinda fucked up, imo.
@Slumpy Boy of course they can. my point is majority of effortlessly skinny people wouldnt have half the willpower required to do it either, yet judge someone else
@@dr9660 ye but those are very rare. Almost no overweight person you see will actually be one with a disorder.
I genuinely read this "That fat guys considered diabetes..."
@Slumpy Boy as a naturally skinny person its not all sunshine and daisies. Its super hard for me to build muscle mass because of my metabolism. 6 feet tall and 145 pounds naturally no matter how much i eat
Jimmy Fallon gets paid to laugh; Conan genuinely laughs for free.
Fallon not funny.
Exactly..... Conan's genuine and understands comedy.
And when Bill Burr is on Colbert, Colbert gets paid to NOT laugh.
@@jadedjimmy agree with all you guys but... it can always get worse.... kimmel! :)))
I agree. Conan is so natural, reminds me a little of when Johnny Carson did late night, when he laughed it was genuine.
He wasn't in uniform, he didn't have kids, he had all his limbs, he wasn't limping, he didn't have a cough, he just walked on the plane it's like

hahhaha 20 groups are pre boarding :D :D. HAVE YOU SEEN ACTION!?!?!? hahahha
Probably an air marshall
The pilot 😂😂😂
"ahhhh somebody shoved a tuna sandwich up my ass, and i confuse people with food"
hahahahahaha! Conan couldn't breathe after that one.
Pat Tanackered and he tours nonstop
"Honey, how many childhood stories do I have to tell you before you follow the bread crumbs to the psycho that you married?"
This should be on a greeting card.
He is so right about the movie Monster. It basically blames all the male victims and somehow makes you believe that she was the poor innocent that had no other option but to kill them all. I'm glad somebody called that bs .(in such a hilarious way xD)
Never even heard of this movie. Now I know not to see it.
it's a good movie , it's kinda like those mafia movies . they kinda sugar coat the main character a little bit
But I thought the whole point of the film was to show how she became a monster - how she went from self-defence to killing an innocent man who was trying to help her?
No It's not complicated. Being abused doesn't give you a pass to abuse others.
uhm, isnt that how like 90% of serial killers/abusers become such things, through other peoples abuse ?
It's so refreshing to hear Bill speak....dude does not give a rat's ass what anyone thinks. I don't think I've seen Conan laugh much harder than this in a clip....awesome
I think the hardest he made Conan laugh was when he mentioned Oprah standing on the heads of midgets
He's very Boston. And hilarious.
Go watch Bill Burr talking about Oprah/Lance Armstrong on Conan's show. Conan literally put his head on his desk and couldn't control his voice
Watch the clip where Bill is talking to Conan about Lance Armstrong- absolute gold! Conan really loses it and it is so genuine.
Conan: Do you enjoy your success now?
Bill Burr: 7 minute rant about boarding and his wife always being surprised with his behavior.
He only gets hate because he isn't really joking......he's just telling the hard truth in a funny way.
I love him for never standing down, and just telling it how it is.
The hard truth is funny. He's just pointing out the absurdity of people in today's world.
Conan's true laughter is actually the inverse, because he'll actually try to hold it in with all of his strength
He's the anti-Fallon.
Yep kinda like when dave chappelle was on with conan
"the nerve to be surprised". BRILLIANT
Same. I suspect many of his fans feel the same.
Hell yeah! That's awesome actually. I'm sure if he ever read that, he'd be appreciative of you saying that. Than he'd probably tear into ya a bit, but just for fun! (P.S. Don't tell anyone but I gave your comment a thumbs up!) *Whistling* as I'm walking away
nice, good to hear!!
I remember the airplane bit from a podcast from a couple of months ago.

Along with Dave Chappelle and Louis C.K., Bill Burr is one of the best comedians of all time.

This is very well known and almost all standup comedians do this. E.g. Louis CK's late night appearances are full of maturing bits that he has later done in specials.

Bill Burr shooting the breeze is funnier than 90% of bits you see that Comedians have worked on and polished for years.
I'm not disagreeing, but I bet that tuna fish sandwich joke is on his next special.
Robert - But he also tests some of his upcoming material on these shows

He's not just "shooting the breeze" man, this is calculated stand up material hes worked on, practiced, tested and tweeked several times before it ever gets to us, the fact that you think it's off the cuff just means Bill is good at what he does and Conan is good at playing to it.

He does a lot of fake laughing with Bill too
he half-laughs half-panics whenever bill opens his mouth. "pleeeease bill this is not netflix"
I have a theory that Conan laughs so hard with Bill every interview, is because Conan feels like he's a lil' kid in Boston again, secretly hanging out with the funny, rude, slightly-embarassing kid from the wrong side of the tracks.
Yes!
SimplyGimpy - You hit the nail on the head! 😂
They both have extremely similar comedy. Conan just has to tone it down due to sponsors and his show. Bill Burr is his inner demon
