He's made it his own style : - first he comes in with a blunt statement that maintstream public thought doesn't agree with, - he stays in that awkward place and earns that role of the crazy person in the place, and keeps explaining his crazy stuff in a way that's absurdly realistic and convincing - ends up making the crowd laugh at his crazy stuff ( like "omg it's true though lol " ) - piles up with some even more crazy stuff to keep them cracking up ( "LMFAO SO TRUEEE x'D " )
Hes a straight shot comedian. He has an angle on a scenario or idea and no matter what; He will end up making you either agree or sympathize with his stance which is delivered through a joke lol
Love how the audience was going a little quiet at one point, clearly wondering if they should be laughing at this, until Bill pulled it back with the perfect analogy of someone pausing the film in a movie.
My mom died of cancer but I agree with Bill that theres a time and place. Why burden someone and deprive them of entertainment? Just overly sensitive to me.
Sorry for your loss. I lost my grandmother from a weird type of cancer and even though it’s heart breaking you don’t need to be reminded of that pain when you are trying to get distracted from your own reality or drag someone else to feel your pain when all they want to do is disconnect.
believe me what he is saying there is not about depriving him of entertainment only. it is about how he pictures that sport as his escape out of the harsh reality where he can skip out a little and then they come reminding him right into the middle of it about the world.
+Bruce Wayne (Batman) yeah he is an awesome person and comic ! do you know maybe what happened to him? he turned gray really fast, a couple years before this clip he had red hair and looked 10 years younger

It's not like he's against women being paid equally or thinks they're less than men, in fact he always goes on how they evolved smarter because we could beat the shit out of them. But now we can't.
What makes Bill a legend is that when the room goes silent he goes even harder and gets an even bigger laugh in the end. It’s incredible how he goes to the edge and pulls it back 😂
After a 28 year run, Conan's 'late night' show ends on June 24th, 2021. For all of us who love to go on the regular Conan with Bill Burr and Norm MacDonald binges, let's all upvote this for Team Coco to see who we want as the first guests in his new HBO Max variety show!!!! Hail team Coco!
Eye-Killa A weak ineffective president is better than someone who is discriminatory and wants to create a state where a lot of people would be marginalised.
Introgauge .C But for the real, I understand that we give too much welfare for immigrants, I believe welfare should be spread proportionally among the homeless. And let me explain why we have welfare. Because we are nice people (in short). Do you want to live in a state where people are just like, fuck the blind people, why don't they get fucking jobs. Of course we don't, at least I hope you're not as big an asshole as that. There are a lot of people in this world that find it hard to find jobs, have a better understanding of the bad things people go through in life.
I think Conan genuinely finds Bill hilarious. The way he laughs and doesn't try and steer Bill to be politically correct, it just seems like he enjoys having Bill on his show.
He does. They're good friends off the show. Conan talked about it once somewhere I forgot where but he said he was friends with Bill for like 15 years or something
its like bill said, we already know that it's bad and that people are suffering and we help when we can, but we don't need to hear it every second of everyday
It's never a dull moment when Bill is on Conan, is it? LOL He does have a point with all the causes and sporting events. Hell, I've had cancer as a kid and beat it and also donate to a cancer charity and other worthy causes when I can, but there should be a time and place for these things. For example, when purchasing your tickets online for the sporting event, there should be an option of which charity you wish to donate a $1 or more to...
Yeah I think the point of these athletic events or comedy for most people is to "get away from the horrific things in life" for a second, and then they put these things in the middle of it...it doesn't bother me at all but I can understand the point he's making here.
Mostly because the audience are sheep and so scared to laugh. Wet the finger and see which way the wind is blowing. Total group think morons. Everybody looking at each other to see if it's ok to laugh. It's hilarious
Burr really destroys on Conan. I mean, he's funny period, but it needs noted just how able he is to work his stuff as three minute TV bits, or whatever. It's not hacky or bloated and feels lose.
Exactly. Also I feel like the way Conan interviews and his way of thinking helps communicate Bill's madness to the audience very effectively. Basically 100% the opposite of Jimmy Fallon.
Conan really lets him breathe, and Bill really does have to feel around a lot with his comedy, much like Louie does. It's what makes them both so amazing to watch, they're constantly re-configuring.
I totally agree with Bill. My grandfather suffered with throat cancer for 10 years. I feel for cancer patients. My heart goes out to them. But... this is a fucking ballgame. I bet there are even cancer patients watching the game like "Ok, that's enough, come on. Jesus!"

I started out working with Billy Burr in Boston. He used to just tell jokes and then turned into this social commentary guy. He's always been very funny. He's one of the few comics today that makes me laugh. I also worked with Dan Cooke. He didn't talk to too many of the comics, kept to himself, but I never thought he was nearly as funny as Billy. And I've seen Cooke lately and he is just terrible. Any chance you get, go see Billy in person. Good stuff.
It's good to see a truly talented guy like Bill get so much mainstream success. I've been a big fan of his for a long time and the last few years have been such a pleasure to witness. Edgy is overused but I feel like he's one of the few guys in the big leagues who do this type of humor without shock being the primary means of laughter. I think right now he's probably the hottest comic along with Louie CK.
DirtyFrigginHarry He's edgy but not all the time. I think it depends on where he is with his material, but he is one of the few comics out there actually saying something. But it's funny to see him now because I can remember him with his handful of notes just unoffensive cute jokes really, and now he's the tough social commentary guy. He's come a long way
thelikwideffect Not at all. I currently own a national education / coaching firm that has made me quite wealthy where I don't have to work another day if I don't want to. And I was just talking to Billy maybe a month ago. He said that he was jealous because he still has to go on the road which he said he's getting tired of. Ironic huh? Well, hope all works to the best for you and happy holidays
Love how Bill has the guts to say what many of us are thinking then the crowd goes uncomfortably quiet like they're holding their breath. Cracks me up every time
+GBXS well said, incredible how letterman is exactly the opposite, he needs to have the spotlight, even though most of the time he isnt as funny as his guests
bill burr is the fucking best! people think hes dumb, but the way he can relate everyday situations is pure genius. 1. louis ck 2.bill burr (out of current comedians, not deceased)
He's one funny dude. Man, I haven't laughed so hard in my life. Bill is hilarious. He needs to come to an LSU Bama game in Baton Rouge, and I'll treat him to some great tailgating in Baton Rouge. He will not go hungry. BTW, our band knows more than one song.
I tried not to wake my wife, but when he said "I was molested when I was nine." I lost it. This guy is gold. How many are just clicking from one to another. It is like mind candy.
I love it when Bill speaks his mind and says something that makes the crowd and host hold their breath because they don't know if it's ok to laugh even though you know most want to.
It must be so hard being Bill, there's so much pressure on him to come on Conan and be funny. You can see everyone is just waiting for him to say something funny, he must feel so pressured. Anyways, funny as usual big bill! You're the man!
Anton Z Bill knows exactly when his big lines are. And he does get nervous like any other human being. The afghan rug/pencil sharper line was big but he got anxious and fucked it up. It's the small things
I love that you can tell everyone agrees with him but everyone is so AFRIAD to agree with him. It's only when he points out the idiocy of whats happening that everyone starts to laugh with him, but he kinda has to give them a nudge lmao.
I like how the audience doesn't get him, and doesn't know if they should laugh or not. But Conan loves him, he's been on the show like a million times.

cj2lapaixify he’s really good at listening to his guests

And I was just talking to Billy maybe a month ago. He said that he was jealous because he still has to go on the road which he said he's getting tired of. Ironic huh? Well, hope all works to the best for you and happy holidays
Bill burrs delivery is absolutely perfect every time.
I just love how Burr silences people with some things he says and then immediately turns it into a joke and has everyone busting up laughing.
I love how conan tried to hold in his laugh at the cancer joke but then busted out laughing.
Love how Bill has the guts to say what many of us are thinking then the crowd goes uncomfortably quiet like they're holding their breath. Cracks me up every time
I'm still laughing on that native american joke after 2 years.
Still laughing
Still laughing
Still laughing.
The picture he creates how the movie makers used a retards voice...:DDDD
7 vids later I'm gonna have to admit to myself that i love this man lol
1:21 That moment when nobody in the audience gives Bill any feedback...dude is fearless XD
I would love to see the akward reaction of Ellen if this was on her show
Yeah, her and most people. Conan Bill Burr clips are the best👍🏽
Would Ellen ever put him on?
@@tossedburrito9028 The man said it best "awkward" lol😅🤣😂🤣🤣
Have u seen the audience on ellen ?
Bill Burr on Ellen or Oprah would be an all time great show.
So many people in the audience afraid to laugh, lest they be labelled a bad person. Then there's me here on my computer pissing myself.
Was that a moment for you
What do you want a medal
I love how Conan, unlike other comedian show hosts, doesn't try to one up Burr. Conan really makes a great quality show.
+GBXS well said, incredible how letterman is exactly the opposite, he needs to have the spotlight, even though most of the time he isnt as funny as his guests
juan altredo Letterman? What about that SNL guy that has the roots on his show. He can't let anyone have their moment.
GBXS letterman is the worst, he barely lets his guests talk, particularly if they're funny it becomes a competition
Wow this is even more true now than ever before
Watching Conan laughing his heart out makes me happy
bill burr is the fucking best! people think hes dumb, but the way he can relate everyday situations is pure genius. 1. louis ck 2.bill burr (out of current comedians, not deceased)
+dhd Doug Stanhope too
+dhd i cant get over how much self hate louis ck actually has. Every show is just him trying to get black friends it seems, so fucking annoying
+dhd agreed
Bill is No.1 and so much ahead of Louis ck IMO
I can't believe I have these same thoughts but can't articulate them nearly as well as Burr can. Love this dude!
bill burr on conan is ALWAYS the best... I love watching Conan lose his shit laughing at the hilarity coming from Billy
I love watching Bill Burr and Conan. They are hilarious and they are being honest with their views on stuff.
That tomahawk chop bit is one of the funniest bits I've ever heard from bill 🤣🤣🤣
It's so satisfying listening to Burr talk while watching Conan react.
My dad's stage 4 and he hates those cancer commercials too. He hates every time they come on during games
Yup. It's like getting cockblocked in the middle of having the best sex of one's life. 😂
I love Bill Burr he's hilarious! I'm actually crying with laughter!
Nusrat Choudhury if I was you I would cry too .....
You look so happy. :)
sy good by to your country anyway. hahhaha
1:45 - Conan's face hearing the 'I was molested with I was 9' joke was like an 8 year old on Christmas.
I tried not to wake my wife, but when he said "I was molested when I was nine." I lost it. This guy is gold. How many are just clicking from one to another. It is like mind candy.
Can you just have Bill Burr on every month?
Exactly! Instead of the usual boring asshats.
aDotFromTheFuture Yeah, already signed up wince earlier the year.
*every week
every millisecond*
Can we have him host the show
Nice pause at 1:24 when the audience are not sure if they should laugh
Everytime I watch the MLB all star game and they do the Stand up to Cancer mid inning. I think of this skit !
Watching Conan's face during the "I got molested when I was 9" is hilarious, the array of emotions he goes through in a split second.
I love it when Bill speaks his mind and says something that makes the crowd and host hold their breath because they don't know if it's ok to laugh even though you know most want to.
I applaud Bill Burr for his ever-glowing realness.
I'm not sure who else can make Conan laugh so genuinely, long live Bill Burr.
dave chappelle
Actorsstudio2777 Norm.
Actorsstudio2777 louis ck
1:05 - just happened dodgers/Yankees World Series
BRO 😂
Exactly why I decided to rewatch this clip
lol instant reminder of this video when I watched it last night.
I love how happy is Conan when Bill Burr is around. His smile and laughing are to genuine!!
*too genuine
@@Anthony-uf3oz thanks!
It must be so hard being Bill, there's so much pressure on him to come on Conan and be funny. You can see everyone is just waiting for him to say something funny, he must feel so pressured. Anyways, funny as usual big bill! You're the man!
you think so? my call is all he says is pure freestyle thought train, what he really thinks, just being himself
Anton Z Bill knows exactly when his big lines are. And he does get nervous like any other human being. The afghan rug/pencil sharper line was big but he got anxious and fucked it up. It's the small things
teamworkformyfrainds What an analysis lol...
I don't think he's nervous. He can practically say anything and it's hilarious because of his masterful delivery
+Naz™ i doubt he gives a shit lol
This guy makes me laugh so much.
That sound that Bill was imitating is gonna be my alarm from now on
I love that you can tell everyone agrees with him but everyone is so AFRIAD to agree with him. It's only when he points out the idiocy of whats happening that everyone starts to laugh with him, but he kinda has to give them a nudge lmao.
Whos watching the 2024 world series and they did exactly this. Completely deflated the mood of the game.
Go Watch Bill Burr's new special on Netflix now. It's hilarious!
Is it the one from 2012? You People Are All The Same?
Jonathan Dean I'm Sorry You Feel That Way
I agree, just watched. But there was no LAADIIES! So 9.5 from me.
***** I checked, I'll have to watch it soon
Thanks for the heads up. Had no idea he had a new one. Not agreeing with a lot of his views anymore, but he's still a great comic.
1:26 Conan is trying SO hard to hold his laughter. hahahaha
Bill Burr. Comedic genius. Everything he rants about is gold.
That part about Florida State!!! Spot on!!!
The way Bill, Conan and Andy all laugh at end is wholesome af
I actually just love that Bill Burr is so hilarious, he gets a genuine laugh out of Conan every time unlike other guests
Nobody makes Conan laugh like this guy....
1:33 conan is probably thinking "how does this guys always make me laugh?"
02:58 and 03:24 kills me every time... being playing it on loop for the last five minutes. Only made this post to make it easier for myself. Enjoy!
Bill Burr is hilarious on his own but Conan’s reactions make it even better!
