There's a thing in psychology called compartmentalizing. Men are better at doing this than women. It's basically when you can move from one thing to another and not have them interacting with each other. So men can have a bad day at work, and then go home and enjoy football whereas women wouldn't be able to do that as well. I told her yeah, I got something to drink and with a little mud I could practice making little sculptures out of mud, so what, I can make it happen and be good with that if I needed to.
