There are currently about 2,500 death row inmates in the USA. Only 50 are women. Do they have perfect lives? No, obviously not. M 40 Some people have different type of humors. I don’t mind dark humor like Anthony jeselnik but bill burr voice annoys me. He sounds like he is screaming when he is talking.
@TELLEMENT2000 Agreed. He criticized cancel culture, which is #1 on the woke agenda. He criticized the newest generation of white "feminists" who were complicit with their men, and enjoyed the spoils for a very long time, and somehow distanced themselves from the backlash of white privilege. Burr has been spot on regarding leftists for over a decade.
Patrice would be calling Burr out on his woke bullshit and for pussying out! Patrice would never go woke and would castigate any of his friends who did. Burr hss been castrated by his woke wife. Patrice would never let him off the hook for that.
This is really the best take. Too many people think that because some people didn’t like it makes it genius. Like it wasn’t bad, it wasn’t great. He didn’t say anything too revolutionary and most of it was playing pretty safe. People hear the premise and instantly jump to a conclusion, and that goes for both sides of the coin. They either hop on it for being offensive or praise it for being offensive; when it isn’t.
@@kbanghart Def better than most monologues. But compared to his standup? This doesn't hold a candle to his best material. Cuz it's really just his best jokes reduced to soundbites. They're talking about ppl on Twitter who were offended by this monologue; the worse part is that there was literally an Article that was originally headlined: "I had to change the channel" (in regards to the monologue) lol 😂
The twitter cancel mob is a tiny-tiny minority but the media and certain corporations play them up like they are the mainstream, and/or actually believe that is what most people think.
Bill Burr is a great comedian. No doubt. Did no one else notice at the beginning his PROFESSIONALISM in handling the broken microphone issue? The headset wasnt working and he knew he was live and didnt miss a beat. That adds to how amazing his monologue was

@@uriah9638 all those groups of people you describe they probably can't laugh at themselves either. It's the self-importance that tells them their needs supercede others pain.
Right before he goes into his white woman rant it is apparent he is tanking with the audience. So he switches gears and says "plowing ahead". He immediately goes to the comedian's safe space of bashing white people. He figured out his audience quick and stripped gears going into safe mode. It wasn't even a graceful transition. He used to be edgier. It's sad seeing all the good ones go soft and cave.
Honestly I think this whole bit just needed more time to be worked. I think this is a challenge of comedians not being able to do their normal local spots to try out jokes and build on them. Every thing he did felt like it needed another line or to to kill it. And the end of his jokes tend to be less offensive - he starts off offending people, and works his way back. He's really good at it too. I really just think this material needed more time, that's all.
Jeff Ruempel well this is a weird take. He's on prime time television for SNL. He doesn't hold back in his podcasts or stand ups. Chappell & C.K. took it semi easy when they were on here too.

@@juan.zabala
At a certain point the charade gets old. Read the short story the Emperor's New Clothes. How can any honest man go in front of a crowd and say things he knows not to be true? That man can't live with himself. That man lives for the opinions of others so he doesn't have to reflect on what he thinks of himself. Bill Burr took a stand on SNL; a show that tells people to think one way and he gave them a little taste of the real world and that not everyone thinks the same way they do.
@@juan.zabala I think Bill Burr is one of the few who WOULD Bomb on purpose. Just to drive it home in order to make you uncomfortable and reflect at how absurd our reality is right now. All great comedians who can read their audience do this time to time.

Definitely holding back. It looked like he was annoyed too. You could tell he just wanted to tell them all to go fuck themselves.
Everyone nowadays is because of these fringe left lunatics that are offended by everything. Mommy's special cupcakes.
