Hello Bev, as a 66 year old woman with Bipolar Disorder and ADD, it's challenging to keep my attention. 🫠 Thanks for such valuable and entertaining content. It's fun listening to you. I'm looking forward to more videos. I Love your personal style and voice. ☺️
I was the same way just over a year ago Bev. Whether we believe we're the best or the worst, it still reflects a sense of entitlement. It's a cognitive bias where our own brain speaks to us negatively, and pushes the blame onto people close to us because we don't think we can change our thinking. Our brain like to take offense, as it's a lazier way we engage in the 'fight' element from the fight-flight-freeze response, but instead of taking physical action to 'protect' us we use words ☺
I agree. There are so many cognitive biases that can keep us stuck. Recognising them is the key and sometimes we need other people to point them out to us.
@@BevThorogood Yes!, we don't experience ourselves being wrong in the moment, and we need outside perspectives to help us believe we can change for the better 👍
Hi Bev, the music playing over your voice is only playing in one ear on my headset which might be affecting others? Maybe don't have a backing track throughout? Not criticizing just thought you should know :)
Thank you. Yes there are a couple of videos that sounded fine in my headphones but fit some reason don’t sound great note their uploaded. I’m working on figuring out what happening in the edit. Thanks for the feedback. I genuinely appreciate it. 🙏
