That MRE dude was ridiculous. MRE's aren't meant to taste good they're meant to nourish and get some calories and carbs in you. They're meant to keep you alive not be a 5 star meal that tastes good. They should be grateful they at least have something being donated to them and aren't starving
he also either purposefully left out the main meal or the people he bought it from kept it.

My thoughts with the airdrops were always “hey weren’t you guys eating dirt and animal feed yesterday? I’d say a garbage cracker is an improvement, so let’s give it to someone who appreciates it” and “well if it tastes so bad, clearly you’re not the person who needs it because you aren’t desperate enough to eat anything to survive”

It's like my dad said when we had to eat MREs after hurricane Ivan. Everytime we complained about it tasting bad he hit us with "but are you hungry?"...
not gonna lie, I be eating MRE's at home when I'm lazy because we always be having leftovers when we go to the field. But honestly, MRE's are not that bad, if he said 4/10, especially for the spinach fettuccine then I could completely agree, but MRE's like chili mac, shredded beef in barbeque sauce, beef ravioli and etc. are actually decent. Personally, all I'm saying is that if the MRE tastes like shit to you, then that simply means you aint hungry enough, So I am all for not sending them MRE's, but in all actuality, it might have been a better idea to send the halal MRE's, now those things be like a 8/10 sometimes.
