Back in the mid 80's when I was in Army basic training, we had a 44 yr old former Marine going through in my company. He came in as an E2 and made E3 before we got to AIT.
In the swedish armed forces, we have to ask permission to jump into the ice water, and ask permission to leave it, and if you dont have normal breath you not allowed to leave

Wile in the military I was counting radios, and long story short. They told me I looked sad and to go to behavioral health. Then was told I wanted to self delete by my command(they didn't hear anything from my therapist) and gasslit me. Got fapped out to I.T. lmoa😂😂😂

This one time we did some cqb training with hot guns and I took the entry to the left and there was a target and shot it. This one dude after me came in and shot the same target also and I almost got lead in my head. His barrel was like 30cm behind me and like a 30-40cm right. Luckily I was hugging the wall but the shock coming from the barrel and bullets got my ears ringing.
Let's say he was a bit trigger happy cause he wasn't supposed to shoot it but take the corridor and hold and wait for my team to come in while I take the left most room and clear it with my 3rd guy.

Anytime I see something stupid on my college campus, I remember that, somewhere in the world, the military is doing something equally stupid. This brings a smile to my face. 🙂
Was in an apache unit at Bragg and we did this every 6 months. THIS IS 100 ON THE AIRFORCE LOADMASTER! We broke them down but once it was time to get it on "his aircraft" it was his call and his guys on the wench.
