Graphics all nice, but its all about driving model, AI and how interesting the singleplayer campaign will be

Bad job on shading, particle detail, unrealistic clouds, that's not the best effort they could do and they know it, I hope the physics don't leave anything to be desired.
Also if the car list and campaign will be up to par with Forza Motorsport 4.
Yeah the AI and driving "feel" will be the deal breaker
Hopefully they focused just as much time on the physics as they did the graphics physics are everything in racing games

Please Bring Qualifying to not have to start from the rear having to play super aggro to get rid of traffic. And please add race length to be more customizable , not just 3 laps or 10 laps, something like 5 or 6 would be nice

Yes! I always hated having to start in the middle of the pack when I was clearly faster than the ai. And using mods felt like cheating.

@@michaelbull6906 I think its better this way tbh, because we have all these advancements in software and rendering, we get these new features along with amazing graphics, sounds, displays, physics etc... which we wouldn't have had in the earlier years

I think this really shows where the devs and the casual audience really care about. Graphics.
The cars are just literally background noise.
I care more about them not reusing car sounds, rather than better graphics from the last game, honestly.
@@LateKnight666 If they are to reuse car sounds at all, then they need to be from Forza 4, all games after FM4 sound so bland in comparison.
Nobody cares about graphics. Buyers want audio and realistic handling.

Bring back player hosted lobbies.. It makes the game actually playable when you can control the lobby, kick out cheaters etc
The actual game don't look like this. The cars don't reflect on the other cars and it don't run @ 4k with raytracing at 60fps. Graphics are nice, but not like this.
The cars do reflect on other cars, not as clear as in the trailer though.

the first forza motorsport had 3d trees on first xbox, dude. I mean not every single one but the one you can look directly. And it was amazing at the time compared to old GT and now it's amazing compared to new GT aswell

Forza Motorsport has really changed within these passing years.
To be honest, this looks really incredible and promising, i am genuinely excited to see more from this game.

Man, Forza sure has changed since its first release back in 2005 Even though I just can't compete against the new generation of gamers anymore, I hope I can at least keep up with y'all in this new addition of Forza motorsport. I hope to be there when memories are made.

We're all hoping they hit the mark with this one, the Motorsport franchise has been going downhill since FM5, the last truly great one was FM4.
yeah i really liked 4 not so much 5, but 7 was okej
4 was amazing. I actually enjoyed 6 too but 7 wasn’t really it for me.
5 was okay for me, 6 was good, 7 was meh.

There are definitely some in Forza 7. There’s an achievement specifically for completing an endurance race with the extra long setting on which gives you the full 100 laps at Spa. It’s a gt3 race and I used the C7.R. I remember doing this and it taking me 3 and half hours to do.

Looks amazing, hope to hear more about the gameplay. I hope with the “Forza Motorsport” rebranding that means the “Motorsport” will be the main focus. Hope to see this compete with the like of ACC and IRACING. Leave the arcade style gameplay to the Horizon franchise. Staying hopeful.

@@logo115 The past Motorsports are still pretty arcade-y. They've been facelifting the same ancient platform since the original Horizon came out, and that severely limited the capabilities to reproduce realistic car physics. Hopefully, the developers will work to separate Motorsport and Horizon further, making Motorsport more realistic and Horizon... well, better
And VR support for when it comes to PC :)
It won’t you can already see it from this footage, it’s not about Motorsport but everything else, not even GT7 can compete with real simulators, imagine this game, Forza can’t even compete with older Gran Turismo games. I don’t care about the graphics if the overall experience suck

@@DerekRoddy8 but theyve always been accurate in motorsport, they directly record the cars from the track in real life. This isn't horizon. They just aren't as loud thats it.

yeah, unfortunately companies like Ferrari or porsche do not want to have any of their cars to appear to have any kind of damage. that's why it took forza horizon until 4 to get porsche back officially.

I'm hoping for pit stops where you do the real deal. Fuel your chariot, change flattened & used up tires, pound dents out of fenders, replace windshields, tear hanging parts off the race cars. Make it the real deal. I also like the scratch & dent stuff they were talking about.

Ehh i feel like on 7 you cant really feel what the tires are doing sometimes mid turn which caused me to crash out cause it just snaps back
I had late responce from my controller, so the car would turn late, not good at 100mph.
It will be probably the same as 7, they just like to shout empty promises of more realistic "simulation". It's all just smoke and mirrors.
