- Presenting the first eight minutes of Forza Horizon 5, exploring our expansive version of Mexico. Featuring Forza Horizon 5’s cover cars, the Mercedes-AMG ONE and the 2021 Ford Bronco Badlands, and landscapes such as the active, snow-capped Gran Caldera volcano, a dust storm in the Mexican farmland, and dense jungle tree canopy.
Forza Horizon 5 is available November 9 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC on Windows and Steam, and Xbox Game Pass including console, PC and Cloud Gaming (Beta).

When the game is so good that uncut gameplay is pretty much a great trailer
This is what I call a great game trailer. Pure gameplay and no bs cinematic trailers that so many dev studios make that have nothing to do with the actual Gameplay. I'm a Playstation guy but Microsoft has a fantastic exclusive here. Probably will get this for PC

There's something about the idea that the Horizon festival starts by just a cargo plane dropping cars overhead that I just love. I like to imagine when the festival started wasnt officially announced in Mexico and all of a sudden the sky was filled with the cargo planes and cars invading the roads, so cool
That would be funny. Mexicans out on their porch suddenly hear groups of jets dropping cars out the back and racing everywhere. Won't just be a street takeover it will be a whole country takeover.

@@truthserum3050 yup, i have the fh4 on pc, full graphic settings. And graphics aren't that bad. But sounds in fh4 are just below pathetic, im talking mainly about engine sounds, they are just really low quality and their simulation related to how much throttle you engage.
The last one at the end always gives me chills. Especially with the way the guy on the radio is announcing it

Nah mate, forza is really optimized, I used to get 80+ fps on high on my 7th gen i3 and GTX 1050ti in Horizon 4 and even horizon 5 is on same engine so not much diffirence

I still get goosebumps watching this. This was my first experience with Forza, even though i was aware of the game before now.
It. Was. Electrifying.
For 2 weeks straight i pretty much lived and breathed forza. I've been busier lately cause work and life get in the way but as soon as i can no life it for a day or two im jumping right back on this game.

As a Mexican I can tell you guys the developers depicted Mexico very well, even the mountains ⛰ are very similar looking...
Except the sandstorm, it was the wrong terrain, a track in Mexico's desert and the sandstorm would of made more sense. The game is great.

They said in stream that those are original compositions, I think, but yeah each song kind of represents each station: Pulse, XS, Bass Arena and Hospital Records.
@@a7xgunslinger It's by Metrik & Grafix. The drum pattern has been taken from Metrik's track 'Gravity', and the second part of the drop switches up which has happened on both tracks said artists have released. 'Parallel' and 'Overdrive' to be specific.
I like how much dedication there is, the car that’s falling out of the plane is the brand new 2021 bronco. It just came out like a month ago. And the crew has already included it in the game.

I mean, Car and Driver had photos and specs back in July 2020. I recall seeing concept renderings as far back as 2017, although the body has changed a bit since then. No-one (with an interest in the automotive industry) was caught off guard by the Bronco's release. It was most likely in the line-up right from day one of the game's development.

One thing is for certain, every Forza Horizon game knows how to hype you up with the opening race to get you excited for the rest of the game. And hearing Route 174 for the final part of the intro was just awesome!
the fact that you drop out of a cargo plane in a AMG 1 racing a cargo plane to the finish line being neck and neck at the finish line just sold me for this game

When I fist bought this game on Dec 25, '21, and started playing it. It felt unreal and unmatched to every other game I played back in the past. Forza Horizon 5's first 8 minute entry was one of the best moments in Forza Horizon 5, and it will just keep on getting better. This is wonderful and I will never forgot how I felt when I experienced that.

Would add so much more life to free roam.
And to make custom races with hand picked opponents from your garage cars, make use of all the race series liveries.

I just want to thank every single person that has contributed to producing and allowing these types of games to be produced. It's one thing to showcase such high quality graphics, it's another to make it accessible and miniature. The data, physics, texturing and accuracy for these types of games are insane. For that I just want to say thanks. The amount of space required to play these games are insane, but to fact that it's almost indistinguishable to reality is worth it. Keep up the good work and please exploit the resources to its potential, because at this point I wouldn't be surprised if the next console becomes a human pod.

I absolutely love the seamless transition from loading in from your car to immediately out on the race track. That's so incredibly smooth, and gorgeous!

As a testdrive offroad fan, I am going to love this! This has the clarity and sharpness of mirrors edge. Imagine if you can get out of the car and you would see npc just living their lives.

I'm a PlayStation guy through & through, but I bought an Xbox a couple of years ago solely for this series. It's a petrolhead's dream, probably the best arcade racer ever made. Plus, it continues in the vein of a big festival of racing and music which I always loved in the MotorStorm games on PS3 ❤

@@PlatinumHustle Wasn't quite as good as Horizon since it wasn't open world and didn't have licensed cars, but it was still sick. I honestly think it paved the way for Horizon (although they probably don't like to say it because it's on a rival console). They really captured the racing festival atmosphere in MotorStorm and you can definitely feel it continue in Horizon as well

Literally made me hysterically laugh once or twice I think every-time I saw each car drop, and the visuals man, never been to Mexico but I think it’s coming thru the game very well, I really hope I can get a good gpu or new Xbox with a sim setup once it comes out

Considering I can max out the settings on Horizon 4 with my GTX 1060 and get a consistent 60FPS, I doubt this game will be THAT hard to run.
@@HelplessTeno yeah they are heavily optimized. When I had my 1080 I could run forza 4 at max settings in 4k with consistent 60 fps as well

Back in horizon 3 the blizzard dlc Ken Block’s focus was strap onto a helicopter and you need to press X to release the cable to drop the car

Yeah horizon 4 wasn't nothing to rave about the map wasn't the best but going from fh3 to this is gonna be a real treat, bigger map, new cars, graphics and especially the new and improved car sounds and customization see you on the road brother 🤘

I would say try FH4 in between, there`s a lot to love about it and the 4 seasons are cool. Personally I also really like the UK map.

@@IRXCER Thats the problem.. I would love it if they stopped supporting old gen. The problem is, barely anyone can get their hands on the next gen so I understand every developer and publishers decision to release it for old gen too. The engine doesnt matter as much because its not really physics I wanted changed. I mostly want better draw distance and high res textures on the ultra setting - so as I said I will continue to hope that there is an option to turn it up a bit.
Anyway, I will enjoy the game even if it looks like its made for PS2 as long as the map is fun to race in but (as someone who does 3D graphical work daily) I find it a bit frustrating that the industry got stuck on a relatively similar visual quality to 2014-15...just so we can say were running it 4K 60fps. The only major move forward was ray tracing and now finally UE5 but it will be a while before RT will be actually implemented correctly in games.
