Forza Motorsport vs Gran Turismo 7 Graphics, Physics, and FPS Comparison
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 22 май 2024
- We put Forza Motorsport and Gran Turismo 7 through their paces as we dive deep into the graphics, and physical effects a player will feel on a direct drive wheel, and do some FPS testing on each. Both games were tested across several different tracks with various lighting and weather conditions. We also talked to real-world driver Super GT about his opinion on how the game feels to drive on a Fanatec steering wheel out of the gate while also asking for some tips to improve. Forza Motorsport vs Gran Turismo 7 framerate is also tested, but I think the results may be surprising to some.
A huge thanks to Super GT for stopping by. Check out his channel at / @super_gt @Super_GT

Very well done. Never seen the bottle trick. For me though there is nothing like PSVR2-GT7 💟
This Comparison is void because Destin wont use 60fps 4k option.
In other words, now remaking the video in quality mode, the new Forza Motorsport shows that it is far ahead in quality compared to Gran Turismo 7, even though Gran Turismo 7 is used in replay mode, which is the only GT7 mode that uses Ray Tracing was no match for the new Forza, in the rain Forza proved to be a much better game (see the reflections and rain effects) the rain in Gran Turismo 7 is a shame, in clear weather too (see the effects of Ray Tracing), in The rest was a draw as seen in the video, this is because he still hasn't compared the effects of damage to the cars, which are excellent in the new Forza and practically non-existent in Gran Turismo 7 (a shame for GT7), and the details of the tracks that in Gt7 is all trees and 2D cardboard audience, while in Forza it's all in 3D!!!
Suzuka at night is downright scary on GT7, feels like you illegally broke into the track at 3am in the middle of zombie apocalypse or something.

The Suzuka night time one is known because GT7 strangely only supports a fixed time of day transition based on existing endurance race events or circuit operating hours, and Suzuka is supposed to end just at sundown like a majority of their circuits, meaning there's still enough light in the sky compared to the track's lights for drivers to see.
If coupled with heavy clouds, especially with rain conditions like in this comparison, it really does get so dark that it looks like night time when it isn't, and the circuit lights aren't strong enough to support it.
This strange distinction is funny cause even Spa and Nurburgring technically don't support night time lighting unless you select their 24h variants and their circuit lighting is adjusted to present itself better for night driving.
Keep in mind for the vibration for the wheel, most performance/race cars have stiffer suspension so you would feel it more than a normal everyday car.
Exactly!!!!
If you take a road car to the track, the curbing will set off some cars airbags. So yeah, GT nailed it.
And the curbs on a racetrack are a bit rougher than in a mcdonalds car park
Forza: allows you to make use of the whole vibration dial
GT: Past the first half the vibration dial is useless, don’t even try
Personally, I’d credit Forza
@USAMALIK56 you do know the wheel can be adjusted to the game...
Ray-tracing on GT7 is only active during replays. There’s no RT during gameplay, even on RT mode.

The saturation of color on GT7 is really pretty to me. it "pops" a lot more.
No shadows and too life in the tracks make it seem like your racing on tracks while in a "28 Days later" world. Shadows and lighting make the difference. The sunbursts hit you just like they would in real life. This is a first year build of Forza, just wait til they tweak it. You MUST try GT7 on PSVR2!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!
Cranking the force feedback all the way can make it feel horrible. A force feedback wheel is like a speaker. If you crank it all the way up to 100 everything distorts and all the smaller sounds get lost. Eg you lose detail :)
Sounds like you need to listen to better speakers
But gt7 interiors are more detailed. You can look to the sides and also at the back and the car is fully modelled on the inside. You can indicate and flash your lights. You can turn on the handbrake and it shows up on the dash.
