I had an idea of a changeling that used to be a normal human but he was in a failed experiment and now he’s make of clay. With his clay body he can sculpt his form to become any form he wants like clayface from batman.
I had an idea for a Kalashtar Scribe Wizard who's actually a pair of twins that died together and reincarnated in a single body, with one of the twins acting as the mind of the Awakened Spellbook. Could also work for the Echo Knight fighter or various other class options.
@@christophernichols4822 I have all the scripts written! These videos don't do the best so I have to be tactical with them. But watch out for your dhampir next month! 😎
being an oni was exactly why I gravitated to wanting to be a changeling, usually its the DM whose tricking the party with a shapeshifter but I want to turn that on its head
You could also reflavor Shifters as being a Barbarian-lite, seeing as they have a protective ability that you can activate using your bonus action. Beasthide is the best for that, but you can still do the same for the others
For another Warforged reflavor, how about the creatures from D&D 3e (I think), known as Raggamoffyns, which were Constructs that looked like sentient scraps of cloth, leather, and/or metals that 'possessed' humanoids in order to have them destroy magic items while they did a ritual that made more Raggamoffyns. However, the hosts were rarely actively harmed in the process, and if I'm not mistaken, they were also let go when the deed was done. To me, they give off serious Mummy vibes. Or, one could intimidate someone by pulling their favorite Invisible Man impression and unravelling their 'bandages' only to show there is nothing underneath. Of course, Raggamoffyns could also work as a Plasmoid reflavor, too. (Sorry, I just felt like adding to the pile. 😅)
@@nicolaezenoaga9756 That's fair! But, a counter point, if I may, the Scarecrow from Oz, stuffed animals, and your average wizard are also made of rather fragile materials. So, I think, we should just go with the usual Fantasy Genre/D&D way and say their materials are harder to destroy because 'Magic'. (Also, they might just become sturdier by integrating armor into themselves by hanging onto armor straps from the inside like a snail shell.)
Based on the name I'm going to assume it's an actual play game we're the challenges are very deadly. A sort off 2e level of difficulty brought into 5e.

*stands up and starts applauding*
PROMETHEUS 😲
One of my players actually played an animated armor type of character using the wargorged stats! It was a perfect match and it was great match.
A friend of mine once wanted to play an awaken golem. He basically played a reskinned warforged.

Love to hear that!! Make it happen! 🤗
I want to create a kalashtar flavoured more like a trill from star trek

Giving the fragile material they are made of the reflavoring dosen't really work unfortunately.
OOH, great add!!
