  • When you open any app sometimes it can be overwhelming with all the options, settings and customizations. Trying to do one thing can become frustrating and complicated when you just don't know where to go look. When it comes to Ring I got you.
I have been using Ring for some time now and I want you to get the most out of the app and the system. There is a lot of great features just at your finger tips and I want you to get the most out of whatever Ring configuration you're using. In this video we start the process of breaking down the app with the dashboard. The is the main control area for most of the things you want to do. I will take through all the sections on the dashboard and future videos will provide more detail on subsections. Those of you that are new to Ring, I hope this video helps start the process of unleashing all that your Ring system has to offer. If you've been using Ring for a while, I hope you find some things you didn't know in this video and it takes your system further.

Thanks for your help today on the RING app., Part 1 and 2. Does the camera recording systems supposed to continue recording when you are away? I do not have a DISARM or the RING DOORBELL, just cameras and floodlight. I left the house for three hours and there was no recording during that time. I grew suspicious because I had seen recordings going on before in my absence. I don't want to have to say AWAY/HOME. What do you think?

If you just have a video doorbell and not an alarm do you set it to “disarm” “home” or “away”?

Ring sucks, lag time when anyone rings the bell even though I have High Speed Fiber Optic internet & and why I went with Swann Ring last night told me to uninstall my app then re install now Rings Always Home app will not install on my Phone I would have to buy a new phone they never told me that prior to uninstall. I just installed the new doorbell version 3 months ago downloaded the app fine now their updates have booted my phone out and will not install on my Android Version and I cannot get the original installed app back. RING SCREWED ME OVER NEVER AGAIN

Hey Randy, sorry to hear the difficulties you have been having with ring. I know if you purchase a chime and connect it to the doorbell that should fix the lag issue. i get that you have high speed internet but with ring devices it doesn't matter that much if the distance is far from router.

@@ninja4gaming263 Got ya. I wound up buying a new phone & Ring did the right thing along the way. Anyone one who uninstalls a Ring App first make sure your phone in comparable with their new App which has way to many bells & whistles a turn off for me investing in their cameras I am happy with Swanns Enforcer system & the app works excellent for me. .
