We have just got a ring door bell version 2, only issue we have having is the person speaking at the door bell it’s really quite but the person answering the door with their phone e.g. is really loud #advice

Do you know what setting causes all motion alerts to sound one after the other when I open my iPhone. It saves them all since I last checked my phone. So I check my phone before going to bed, all the ringing happens and the dogs get exited for nothing.
I didn't understand the "how to request help immediately" information?
Great question thanks for taking the time to watch and ask a question. If you go back to that section of the video right around 5:22. You will see 4 options Request Police Response and sounds Siren, Request Fire Response and sounds Siren, Request Medical Response, and Sound Siren Only. If you click on Request Police it's an immediate notification for police assistance at your residence. The same goes for each of the other request. Sound siren is like a panic button and will only sound the siren. You will have to have the ring alarm and monitoring for these features to work. I hope this answers your question. I just got a new phone and when I tried to get my Ring set up I realized that it was set up with an old email that I can’t access anymore. What do I do now?

Do you need the subscription to view on more than one device?

No you can have multiple cameras for one property. I think that's what you're asking. The properties are if you had cameras set up at a different location. That allows you to toggle between the different properties. Each property can have multiple cameras and devices. I have a lot of Ring videos to come stat tuned. Do I need an existing doorbell for this device .besides I don't have one

HOW do you connect to the DOORBELL and the CHIME? Putting your name and address in the app is stupid simple.
How do you actually Add The Device???
What i want to accomplish is if my ipnone is sitting on the table and someone presses the door bell i want it to self activate the live view? I just want to pick up the phone and look at the screen without having to manipulate anything is their a setting for this?jim
You can partially do this, the one thing that will stop this action is the lock screen. Not sure you can get past this even by using short cuts. Now the good news is you can achieve this by using your passcode and 1 click. When you unlock your phone just click on the notification for that camera and it will take to the live view. It's not just a grab your phone and go to live view but close. You can use rich notifications also, this will put a snap shot of the cameras activity in the notification. Let me know if this helps. I want to make sure I understand are you asking can you program times the chime is on and off?
@@DanealLanier no. I want any brand such as Nest or Ring etc., that can be program a schedule, that when it is connected to my mechanical door bell, that the mech. door bell only ring in the morning when my courier deliver things. SO I can turn off my mech. door bell ring in the afternoon

I don’t see a QR code on my doorbell. There is one on the box but it doesn’t work
If you have not found the QR Code the piece of paper that comes in the door bell box it's a qr code on that also
Can you see multiple live views?
Yes you can
Actual live view where you are seeing the current view no. You can see all the cameras at the same time. This view will report the last time the camera recorded, was accessed or live view pressed. It is not a 100 live view at once. You can set up multiple cameras to record together. If motion is triggered in one camera you can set multiples to start recording. Then you will see the last frame of each in the multiple view but you will have to access the each camera to see the live views together. Hope this helps. No you don't have to pay to watch your videos. The protection plan gives you video history for 60 days. You can also save and share videos. One of my favorite features is extended warranties on all devices at your address.

@@DanealLanier Hi Daneal. iPhone. I have to turn volume right up to make out what you’re saying. If advert kicks in its deafening. Difficult to make out your images too no matter which way I turn my phone.
@@Manc-fh5we interesting just tried on iPhone 7 plus no issues. That's strange let me have a few people test for me. You're the first to have that issues so give me a few to do some research.
