Alex Murdaugh Chuckles as Judge Locks Him Up for Financial Crimes

- Опубликовано: 27 ноя 2023
- After a judge formally sentenced Alex Murdaugh for the 22 financial crimes he pled guilty to, the convicted family killer chuckled when the state pointed out he may be eligible for parole depending on how he behaves in jail. Murdaugh was originally charged with 101 crimes, but the disgraced attorney took a plea agreement dropping dozens of the charges against him. Earlier this year, Murdaugh was found guilty of murdering his wife, Maggie, and son, Paul.

A wonderfully intelligent, fair, judge who is not afraid to pass judgement on this despicable coward, murderer and liar. Murdaugh shows to shame, certainly no remorse.

We in South Carolina have been very fortunate to have such an honorable Judge. You will be missed, but you deserve your retirement Judge Newman! God Bless 🇺🇸
Yes you have
Sad thing is is that there's more Alex Murdaugh's throughout the small rural towns and communities of South Carolina. I lived there for a long time and the so-called "good ol' boy" system of local politics and law enforcement throughout SC run rampant with corruption and lawlessness.
@@TacoTot , I would say that applies everywhere! Not just in South Carolina. Corruption is running rampant throughout America.
So many people have no idea how shady this judge is. And after one case, he's suddenly an omnipotent judge who does no wrong. Research ole boy, he is not liked locally.
I totally lost track of how many years he got as the judge was reading them out, holy cow ! this life and the next and the next
did the same thing was up to 155 years,
then realized it was Concurrent, and one consecutive for 7 more years totals 27years eligible for parole at 85% of that but it doesn’t matter serving two life sentences and this judge doesn’t believe in death penalty other wise he would have gotten that. Very professional judge
So he’ll be 840 years old when he’s eligible for parole?
Judge is right his soul is empty
I’ll never be able to comprehend how he could kill his wife and son for money. The evil within that man is truly frightening.
He was doing what he was taught. I have no doubt the generations of Murdaughs before him who ruled the area before him did the same. This and so much more. Maybe not to a wife or child but I do not believe these 2 were not the first to die at the hands of a Murdaugh. Basically anyone who stood in the way of the family name and the personal desires of the Murdaugh doing the crime has to be dealt with. It's how they maintained power and control in their world and it worked for 100 years.
@bluevelvet7055 - I agree, however, he didn’t gain $$$’s from their deaths, did he? I understood there wasn’t life insurance?
@@redrose41000 he didn't get any money from their deaths, just from ruining other families lives sadly :(
No life insurance on Maggie and Paul.
And in such a brutally horrific fashion. I've never understood it but never doubted his guilt. I think he sees himself as god like. Give and take at his command. Grub.

To replace' courthouse Beckys' one? 😂
I feel bad for the judge, his last major case before retiring was locking up a man he worked with over the years, who didn't turn out to be who he thought. So sad, Murdaugh destroyed so many lives, and deserves to be locked up and the key thrown away.
On top of which is the issue with Becky Hill. There will probably be an evidentiary hearing & maybe a new m*rder trial for AM. I thought Judge Newman did a great job presiding over that trial. I feel bad his last trial didn't end up clean & finished 😢
What an unbelievable upstanding professional in such a high stress role. Well done. Enjoy your retirement. Well deserved
What key?
He has been sentenced to 2 life’s sentences. If that isn’t throwing the key away I don’t know what is.

Stunning. He really is not in touch with reality.
Thank goodness there was finally a judge he could not buy off.
Blessings to Judge Newman for his honesty and character. Well done Sir.
Killing your own kid and wife just to try and get insurance money to be able to live a carefree lifestyle and continue eating oxycontins and doing coke. Truly thinking he was above the law. The fact he drove around with, and wore, a police badge to be able to intimidate others and act like an actual cop speaks volumes about his personality. He loved intimidating people.
