Lawyer Rips Alex Murdaugh for Stealing Millions from Clients Who Trusted Him

- Convicted family killer Alex Murdaugh appeared in a South Carolina courtroom Tuesday to receive his sentence after pleading guilty to numerous financial crimes. Attorneys who represented many of Murdaugh's victims slammed the disgraced lawyer for stealing millions from clients who trusted him. "He was a thief and he stole and he lied," Eric Bland said to Murdaugh as the victims stood behind him.

This is a GOOD man!!! He had me in tears at “predatory behavior.” I weep for Gloria!!! 😭 I have two adult children (per TX family law statute) with special needs. This hits hard as an Advocator. All of my energy is spent on keeping them safe from a society lacking compassion. I can’t imagine how these young men feel losing their protector. Sending peace, love, and healing energy to ALL of the VICTIMS!!! 🙏😇💫 Thank you, Creighton Waters, Eric Bland, Ronnie Richter, Mark Tinsley, Justin Bamberg, and all of the attorneys who displayed integrity by choosing to seek justice on behalf of the victims in this case. Alec is devoid of human empathy. He was born with a recipe for disaster - he was spoiled, bailed out, and was not held accountable for his actions. He developed a personality where he is literally incapable of thinking of anyone but himself.

I’ve always wondered if AM murdered Gloria and made it look like an accident to collect the insurance payout. Not far fetched considering what he did to his own wife and son.

His son Paul and wife were the only ones to witness it & they didn’t sound too worried if you listen to the incident on the stairs just outside the house. They blamed the dog tripping Gloria. It was very strange.

Alex had to be promoted by Jim when giving his “apologies” to his victims. What a travesty. Judge Newman looked older and thinner than when he adjudicated on the murder trial. I hope recusing himself from the motion for retrial allows him to enjoy a healthy retirement.
