I actually got it from blend swap because I was on a deadline, but you can make it yourself by scaling a cube, insetting the front face and extruding it inwards :) after that you just add a few more cubes to the back to make the arm of the monitor
I can't make the whole room in one video, because there is a lot of little elements that would take a lot of hours to make But I can make some elements, just tell me what you are interested in :) For the sun beam, I just took a cube and scaled it up to be the size of the room Then I used a principled volume on 0.001 density and that's all there is too it
@@philipkriegel i really like your final render result that showing realistic looks, maybe if it not too much to ask, please teach how to make the materials settings of the room and lightng to achieve the realistic look, mine still looks like plastic toy... i guess the other objects in the room i can try to modify primitif object to make monitor, mouse, books, etc but i dont really know how to achieve realistic looks like yours
@@philipkriegel awesome thanks man! i look forward for the next tutorial, it will be awesome to finally improve my artwork into realistic photograph look like yours, i was looking around youtube for tutorials but most of the video tutorial on youtube that teach the realistic looks render are done in older version and since 2.8 a lot of change happened, i dont really know how to, but if you can teach it will be really helpful thanks a lot man, stay awesome!
I usually tend to go for realism, because I don't really like stylized art I'm glad you enjoy my content and find it helpful, that's what I'm here for :)
To connect 2 selected nodes, you can press the F key By changing the projection method to Box, you project the image from 4 sides onto the object, it works wonders for cube-like objects like planks and everything square You don't need to have a UV map and it minimizes distortions It's a cheap way of getting good looking results
at 6minutes when inserting the top 2 drawers, when I do what is done in the video mine get to be added down instead of on top of the first one. Anything I'm missing
This video was super helpful, love the way you slowly walk through everything and learned alot about the power of beveling, great job!
3:44 how does it snaps if we disabled the snap?
Hi!
Good question!
It snapped to the grid because I was holding CTRL :)
Holding CTRL temporarily enables some sort of snapping as well
Is this an older version of Blender? Because I have way more options for snapping and don't know which one to pick...
im curious how you made the monitor for the desk

Make sure to set the origin to the volume and try applying your scale and rotation with CTRL + A
Thank you for nice tutorial
Where u get wood textures?
Nothing to thank me for :)
I got it from the extreme PBR library, but you can get similar textures from texturehaven.com and cgtextures.com
@@philipkriegel thanks ;)
