Do you have a method about a glass in side a glass? Something like a clear tube was inside a glass bottle the tube seems quite very dark with the same material as the bottle

This doesn't seem to work for me "at all". Not a single bright spot, nor even a tiny bit. Blender 4.2.0. There is definitely more to it than this video shows.

Impressive tutorial. I've been trying to learn how to make real realistic glass in Blender for quite some time now and I always end up watching one of your videos. Even so, I still have doubts about the glass texture. In all the tests I've done I can't get a realistic texture. The glass is textured, more like microtextured, which is completely transparent but causes the edges of the reflections to have small breaks in the reflections. In the glass of a real glass, if we photograph it with a camera of many megapixels, when we see those photos enlarged in the computer we see that the edge of those reflections of light on the glass (especially seen in windows of studio lights) the edges are irregular, but in Blender I always get straight, perfect reflections... and I want to be able to control that parameter. How could it be done? Thank you.

How are you getting this? I modified the settings you said but my caustics still look like shit, the shadows look all pixelated and wierd, are you using a specific material?

Hey Philip, I've been experimenting with your glass shader setup and noticed something strange. I put liquid in one glass, and set a glass with no liquid next to it. The light that passes through the empty glass has a red tinge to it, while the one that is full of liquid (amber colour) casts a black shadow. What might the reason for this be? Edit: this was not the correct video where you set up your complicated RBG shaders, whoops

when I hit alt+E the bottom face extrudes only the top face .It leaves the bottom part blank Blender 4.0

Someone please help, how do you get the glass to be so clear, every time i try this the glass comes out still noisy it never comes out as clear as his especially when i have a area where i can see another layer of glass through the first one

Tutorial is super helpful, but there's a couple things I'm baffled by- where is the mottling texture on your glass coming from? Also did you change the lighting? I followed along, my result is nice but not quite this nice
