    Till 7:30 I think: "wtf this guy doin all of it for?". But after,.. in the end, this simple trick with separate channels blow my mind. How simple it was. It's really can be helpful for oldest PCs and for larger scenes. Really worth time in Photoshop to prepare texture for further work! Thanks a lot for the tutorial!

      That's how all game studios do it to optimize their games so they run smoothly.
      I learned this trick in uni, really shocked me how much it shaves off the GPU and render time!

      That's definitely possible, but you would want it to be a separate program, since you don't want to load any unnecessary textures into blender, it's a pain getting them out once they're in
