Thanks for the video! I've been a Mini 3 Pro user for two years now and last weekend I tested AIR 3S. I have got similar findings when it comes to 1" sensor. I hoped for more. I think that 70mm sensor is a nice addition and the AIR series drones are much more stable in flight and more powerful compared to mini series. I don't trust sensors in any drone so I think that I will wait for some good deals on AIR 3 and get it instead.
Right on points .... Me ,coming from Mini 3 pro through Mini 4 pro, and getting the Air 3.. I truly see a huge difference though . Haven't got the Air 3 s yet .. but won't make much of a difference.
For $50 more, you have to be out of your mind not to buy the Air 3s over the Air 3. When the new models come out, the development teams put their emphasis on firmware upgrades for that model as opposed to earlier ones. I flew the 3S last weekend with our club and it is on par with my Mavic 3. I have an Air 2, Air 2S, Mini 3 Pro, and Mavic 3, and the Air series is the “one size fits all” as far as I’m concerned. The Mini is just too light in winds over 15mph, and the Mavic 3 was flawed right out of the gate with an all but useless 7x telephoto as the secondary camera, besides being twice as expensive and bulky. I’m probably going to replace my A2S with the A3S next quarter as my daily driver. Also, it is likely (certainty if Trump is elected) that the Counter CCP Drone Act will pass the Senate and get signed into law next year. It will mean the end of importation of all DJI drones into the USA.
Its a 1" sensor - but only 12MP. It's another Quad-Bayer Sensor, so its not REALLY a true 50MP camera. Just another DJI money grab. I'd pass on this drone.
Older Gen X here. 2:16 I don't buy drone to film myself. ALSO dude you start you video by digging into the weeds of the drone rather than the jist of it. Who goes out at dusk to defeat obstacles avoidance system? Etc.
I normally like your videos, and I do not hate this one but I would highly recommend doing a bit more technical research before making videos like this. There's a lot of supposition and probably and even some stuff that's a little inaccurate. I'm being gentle. For example, towards the beginning you talk about some reasons why the 3S is more sensitive to light but they are not entirely accurate. There is easily researched information on why the sensor is more sensitive to light and in which ways it is more sensitive to light. Sensors are a huge deal in the flying camera space. For a channel that has 'tech' in the name, I feel like you would get a stronger viewership if you don't muddle through technical details. This is meant to be helpful not hurtful. Enjoy!

They all have the exact same sensor and camera hardware. All that difference is in software.
Downloaded video samples of both. There's only a tiny difference in night mode. Air3s is overly blurry!
@stefanbernhard2710 very blurry in the corners too
Still...I have the original M3 with dual camera...I think this wil not be an upgrade for me
Wait for the increase in bitrate...at this point is really handicapped...

Excellent video,
Thank you.
Can you please make a video on how exactly to do mapping with the air 3.
I'd really appreciate ir.
I already have a video on how to map with the air 3. I’ll do a photogrammetry and mapping review of the 3S on Saturday.
@JaysTechVault thank you, I will look for that video on your channel. Thank you again
The in camera sharpening and NR will make any lens, 1" or not, look like a mobile phone.

Yeah they keep using the quad bayer sensor for marketing purposes
50MP effective, not native, as per specifications.

Good.

Off topic i deleted my system 32 on accident and i need help restoring it idk what to do
🤡
Seriously though how did you manage that.
If there was an award for most off-topic, you would be walking away with it, along with a broken PC.
