Great range test on the DJI Air 3S! To go over 3.5miles one way and no hiccups at all! And still had plenty of battery life left on the way back to the home point. Im very impressed. Thanks for sharing.
Yeah, I feel you brother. I flew my Dji mini 3 Pro about 6.5 km before I realized I was at about 40-45% battery. Made it back at like 2-3% remaining. Yeah, I ordered the "long-distance pro (47 min)" the next week. Batteries are one of the best investments for your device. Ty Tc 👍 Also, when flying along the Detroit River twice they disconnected connection, stress stress, still flew back to Home_Point
Great footages. While I am watching I told to myself hopefully no seagulls in that area while you're flying. That was my experience and my drone was totally damaged. Thanks for sharing and that will be on my bucket list...DJI Air 3S 👌👍
@@user-wi7vu5hv8g they said it was night omnidirectional detection. In fact the smart RTH is based on it. Did you try them? they do not work on low light environment?
It's a federal crime to shoot an aircraft out of the sky. A drone is considered an aircraft according to the FAA. The FAA has stated explicitly that it prohibits shooting down drones. The U.S. airspace is regulated, and property owners or public sites do not own the airspace above their land beyond what they can reasonably use. And yes, that includes the power plant. You might not be able to fly it, but they can't shoot it down LEGALLY. Wait, never mind, you're in Canada.
Oh yeah that was a good flight gonna get me one for Christmas but gotta get the kids straight first but I have 4 other drones adding this one to the family 👍
When returning with 34% battery left, it can be estimated that for safety, this drone should fly a maximum distance of 6 or 6.5 km so that it can arrive with enough battery left, more than 6.5 km, I am not sure this drone can return home
Yeah for sure, I didn't know the power plant was that close until the fog cleared a little. 32 % percent battery remaining isn't bad but it could have gone maybe 2 kilometers more
I've had the mini 2 and I upgraded to the air 3. You don't really realize how much you are missing out with the larger drones. The speed difference makes life so much easier and the multi cameras
No, he's recording through a mic on his body. The air 3s handles wind amazingly. My mini 4 pro can handle 15mph wind like it's not there. The air 3 /3s can handle 30mph winds easy. They can both handle faster winds than that, but you will start to see frame tilting from heavier gusts when pushing to the limit.
yes, basic certification that is $5, also the drone must be registered with Transport Canada. Along with that there are ules though, specifically Always maintain visual contact with the drone: You must be able to see your drone at all times without using any visual aids like binoculars or FPV goggles.

Thanks for checking out the video, much appreciated 👍🏾
I watched another video that this drone went nearly 6 miles turned around and came back
@ insane!!!
@@Blace5it’s here on YT doing a review like this but in England I believe. Came back into the wind. He has more stones than me 😂
What a great flight. Beautiful area and awesome range. You do such a nice job flying. 👍🏆
I appreciate that, thanks for watching 👍🏾

Yeah man it's super stressful when you're not sure if your drone in going to make it back, we still love the hobby though 👍🏾

Good test and great location! Think I'll stick with my regular Air 3 for now...not enough change to upgrade.
Thanks man! The air 3 is a Beast as well
Super tu video. Like y suscripción saludos
Thanks for watching
Nice vid! I have an air2s myself and am considering upgrading. You think it's a good upgrade?
I had the air 2s for 3 years and it's a great drone. The air 3s has newer technology especially the camera, it's definitely worth the upgrade
not to mention the night omnidirectional anti crash detection. That is a huge plus
@@PabloSenzanonnaLidar sees only in front. At night the other sensors are blind 🦮
Thanks! Yeah it's definitely a great upgrade, lots of new features 👍🏾

Awesome range flight and the battery life is great.👍🏾
Thanks for watching brother 👍🏾
Excellent pilot you are, become a commercial pilot soon, my best wishes
Thanks but I like flying from the ground, it's much safer 🤣

Well done. Great video, you have me considering getting one even though I shouldn't . :)
You should definitely get this one, the tech in it is awesome. You'll have it for years👍🏾
That's a beast great range test.
Great video big man! waiting for mine in the mail😁

Don't you have apps for NFZs? I expect to know about any problem sites before approaching them!
If you can where do you take off from
Nice one! I'm very tempted with that drone. Looks like a good upgrade to my mini 3 Pro 👍

Are you recording sound on the actual drone?? And how does it do in strong wind?
No, he's recording through a mic on his body. The air 3s handles wind amazingly. My mini 4 pro can handle 15mph wind like it's not there. The air 3 /3s can handle 30mph winds easy. Are you using body cam to record the screen? I wonder how you captured the short frame video at the right side
You can do screen recording on the rc2 controller
The RC 2 remote does screen recording

Can you redo this test and fly in a different direction like across the water?
Yeah for sure
Does the Air 3S use the goggles 3?
I'm not sure, I'm going to try it
Nice 👍
