There are times I make videos when I think to myself ".. If someone is watching me right now", but you trying to run away from your drone in the middle of the forrest takes that to a new level. Good stuff as always Peter, kind regards from the superior scandinavian country😇

The Air2s also has a 1" sensor does it not? I was just talking with my coworker about this same thing. While the new Air3s has some amazing improvements, I just can't justify upgrading from my reliable Air2s given that it does everything I need it to.

I'm an air3 user I feel it's just an minor upgrade over air3 . Its good for air2s user upgrade but not for air3 . Waiting for your video since your pov matches with mine . Thanks for the clarification at the end . Let me be happy with my air3

Air 2s user here, could you tell us if the telephoto lens is any better than the air 3, i'm so interested in that lens it brings a new perspective to drones like in movies... Aor 3s: On the telephoto, is the image (dynamic range and colors) noticeably worst than the main lens ? Thanks
Side by side video and photos in all lighting. does the lidar see power lines? side by side speed race. otherwise this is the best review so far on youtube today.
Wow, this was a proper test! Most fly safe and show some beautiful sights from above praising the camera (which we know is great already), but your test in the forest was awesome! Nothing most would do on an everyday basis, but now we know it CAN, if we choose to. 🤩👍🏻 DJI should be using your tree test as an ad! 😅

Peter, my FPV bro, I just (not so long ago) bought my DJI Mini 4 Pro. Should I regret about it after this video? What about their comparement? Also have DJI Avata 2 with RC3 and this funky plastic banana. Not to mention Nazgul 5 with DJI O3, Nazgul 5 analog, Cetus X, Mobula 7 and my first one Cinelog25analog -omg-what-a-piece-of-glass-sh1t-spentsomuchmoneyonit :)
I have the mini 4 pro and Air2S. I would be considering this drone but I want some more information from DJI about battery form factor. They need to stop changing the form factor and allow upgrading users to keep their old batteries. I have 8 for the Air2S, so I can maintain a full day of shooting on a battery recycle charge. Even if the new batteries are better / longer lasting, we really need to ask them to maintain a form factor, even if the result of the older batteries is a shorter flight time.
@@PeterLindgren1 Yes, Air2, and Air2S were compatible, but the 3 changed it all again. I would love to know the Air4,4S would follow the same form factor, ideally longer than that. I had the Air2 and then proceeded to update to the Air2S. I skipped the Air3 because of this (and also the sensor size reduction)
I have the Air 3. I wana see the comparison video you gonna make with the Air 3 vs Air 3s. Same test in the woods dodging the trees, video/photo low light comparisons.
I did the exact same test as a what can it do, for myself, with the Air 3. It hit a branch, dropped and found its hover position right above the ground. Immediately I felt the need for LIDAR. I also opened a thread in DJI forum about it… fans started to call me crazy doing the test as DJI tells you it can’t see branches and wires bla bla… Now here we are, with probably all those who got upset on my video finding LIDAR great… Please make a challenge for obstacle avoidance between them, would be sick to have them both follow you together.

Its not just an Air 3S video, its a master class on great drone shots / sequence with that drive to the location! Interested to see your thoughts / review on improvements in low light conditions in the Air 3 vs 3S video.
This drone is nearly everything i Need. But the 12mp pictures is a dealbreaker for me. I loved the 20mp at 20mm of the air2s. The last 1.5 years i only Had a mini3p and i always Need a mini drone for some stuff but the air3s is Not enough of a Upgrade to have Both. I guess its the best Single drone to have but i would rather have a mini3p + mavic3p
Love the review Peter, as always outstanding. I do want to say one little "negative" thing... at least you didn't write on the drone with a white sharpie at least when unboxing because the rest was the same, if you know what I mean, and I think you do.
At a certain point all these drones look the same. Was just watching a video of the newish 4K mini and honestly, you have to pixel peep to even tell a difference with RUclips compression.

The mini 4 pro looked like it was in sport mode - seemed faster and didn't attempt any avoidance.
It wasn't! Sport mode turns off obstacle avoidance, but it's smaller and therefore has a smaller "Range" around it than the Air 3S!
3:45 I see a future cinematic where you put on all that RIVALS tac gear again and pretend the AIR 3S is a kamikaze drone you need to escape from.
Kinda hoped that they were gonna add 1-inch sensor to the telephoto lens as well
