Seeing these interviews I've turned around on Jimmie, I was a die hard Jeff fan and I didn't like the idea of ANYONE beating Jeff. But over the years listening to Jimmie talk hearing more behind the scenes he's a cool guy
@joshawott31 As soon as Jimmie started in Cup I knew I had found my guy. He is the classiest driver ever. Even the other driver's always had so much respect for Jimmie. My fav. comment from Jeff after Jimmie won I think it was his 1st win "I think we hired the right guy". Both of them are great guys.
I’d still rather see jimmy win if Jeff couldn’t then anyone else
Safe to say..Gordon sacrificed 3-4 more Titles in 02 giving Johnson cars/people.
Think of how many wins Jeff would have of Jimmie didn’t get his chance. Jeff could have 150 wins
@@masonmccarty2357it doesn't work like that lol.
Graham. You are the best! I commented on one of your Kyle Busch videos to say you are awesome and thanks for having more nascar drivers on. Now all we need is for you to get Jeff Gordon on!!!
We need an interview with Jeff.
...not Graham but F1 channel interviewed him; called beyond the grid..
Met him the year he started and my mom gave him business cards to her gulf coast suites and yea he didn’t call but he at least talked to her about it. I’ve always held resentment towards him because I always felt like they gave Jeff’s stuff to Jimmie and he just fell off when Jimmie came in and the 5 peat really damaged nascars look I’m competition but now I wish we appreciated him more the dude is so nice. Glad he didn’t beat Jeff’s win record but he is a well deserved hall o famer
Lol its proven in Jeff Gordon's autobiography that their equipment was the same. It got in Jeff's head that he could sit in Jimmie's car and not be able to produce the same speed.
Jimmie is the GOAT and he still doesn't get recognition for it. And I'm saying that as a huge Jeff Gordon fan
@ICEYOU no Gordon was the face of hendrick. They had the same equipment. This aint formula 1. There is no number 1 car
It was never the equipment it was the crew chief. Knaus is one of the greatest just like Evernham. Both Jeff and Jimmie were unbeatable when they had them. The only difference is Jeff won a chip without his while Jimmie couldn’t win a race without his
@@swfan4195 then Cliff turned it around with the same team Jimmie was under and proceeded to have a 2007 Johnson-type year with Larson immediately after Johnson retired. Part of it was crew chief, part of it was post-Pocono 2017 Johnson faltering. He never was the same after that crash, or hell, as said in one of the other interviews, after the 2016-17 offseason due to the never resolved quarrel about commitment between Chad and Jimmie.
More Indycar drivers please, even though Jimmie is one of us now fortunately 👍, and not counting Danica but drivers such as Hélio Castroneves 4 time Indy 500 champion, Tony Kanan, Scott Dixon both 500 winners and series champs, would be cool. 👍🏎🏁🇺🇸
Grosjean interview would be amazing
This is awesome
Great video
Jimmie was good but Gordon will always be the best.
I need stats give me top 3-5 all time
@@TimTrutone yeah the Chase is what turned me off of NASCAR. I went to over 20 races among 6 different tracks so I was a huge fan but then I only kept watching because of Gordon and once he retired I was done with it. For me personally it's hard to consider the championships legitimate when they simply reset the points with 10 races to go. And now I heard they do the stage racing thing? The sport is unrecognizable to the one I originally fell in love with. All I want is a race from the green flag to the checkered - no BS competition cautions or stage racing - and a championship awarded from the best driver from the first race of the season to the end. What they do now is simply manufactured drama by using dumb points systems to close the gap between driver skill.
@@TimTrutone no, it was all ron malec. Once he left the 48 wasnt as good even with chad on the pit box. Now that ron has spent 4 yrs at the hms, they won 2 cups
@@TimTrutone nope dale was better 7 to only 4 hahaha
Long lost twins
The title to this comes off a little sus man
Jeff had a good, consistent career, but Jimmies talent level fell off a cliff. In his last 3 years in NASCAR, he looked like a rookie. Whatever it was that happened to him was hard to believe.
Graham what brought about your hrt dose of testosterone use?
Nascar so scripted I remember when Jimmy Johnson would always win at the lowes speedway meanwhile his car is Lowes lmao after he lost that sponsor or whatever dude couldn't place at that track no longer alota fishy things n nfl Nascar and other sports lol
o geez! I thought u only interviewed real sports and their athletes, how disappointing
You must be new to this channel...
Boo hoo
"Jimbo"
I don’t even like NASCAR, but what a dumb comment.
@@BroJ3221 most 'humans' dont... but when I'm feeling down I replay ole #3's last masonry job
"Taking food off the table," while people go homeless and hungry every day. Great example of a selfish stock car driver that people have come to idolize.
Thanks for exposing the truth, Graham. These people should give the food the fans gave them to those who can actually use it.
Blessings for uncovering the excess of clothes "hidden in the closet." Jimmie Johnson is an overpaid hoarder.
So selfish that he donates millions to others, just like basically every other driver that has money like him. So selfish 🙄
Ooh wait, you're Jason Jacoby. Never mind, now your comment makes sense
@@Twinspinner Those millions of dollars came from the people I watched him ignore at every racetrack.
He only gave a small portion of the fans' money to charitable causes, while he cussed at people on his fancy radio system.
The rate of poverty increases, while "grown men" fight on a racetrack in front of a drunken audience.
"Sport" means "joke," and everyone needs to turn to God.
There should be no more idolizing mankind.
@@Twinspinner key kid, this is what we call a troll. Welcome to the internet.
