Late night needs more Nascar drivers! Jeff is an icon to the sport🏁
We need hosts like Letterman that know *something* about racing. Every video is the same
Love Jeff Gordon so much! So excited for the 75th season of NASCAR!
Legend. I'll never forget being at the race at Texas Motor Speedway back in the fall of 2014 when he punched Brad Keselowski right in the mouth after the race ended. So awesome! 🤣
Don't remind me bru
Jeff Gordon had one of the all time best paint schemes back in the day whenever I see that rainbow DuPont race around the track when I was a kid.
Knowing how bright these cars look in real life, that car was probably popping
Jeff Gordon continues to be a legendary ambassador for NASCAR. #24ever
Jeff Gordon is my favorite driver forever. He is a class act and is an ambassador for the sport. ❤️ #24
yiu must be talking about him outside the raceway. It was a qhuney hypocritical crybaby behind the wheel
Mine too!
Well said and could not agree more
Love to see him do the SRX series!
Yes! Bowyer's doing it this year.
Fun Fact, Jeff Gordon won the final race at North Wilkesboro
Jeff was my favorite driver growing up, and seeing the legacy he's had over the years is amazing. Now with Byron in the car they've had tremendous success and having Jeff back at HMS now in the office is much needed not only for HMS' future but for NASCAR's future as a whole. Having Jimmie back in the sport and Jeff leaving the booth for the office were two big moves that'll help the sport's growth this year and beyond. Jordan and Pitbull being owners the couple years have definitely helped it with 23XI and Trackhouse respectively. Having very talented young drivers like Harrison Burton and Sheldon Creed in the developmental series (Xfinity and Craftsman Trucks) are also very important.
Harrison definitely not a Hendrick driver, neither is Creed but that’s more likely in the long run. Burton doesn’t even run Chevy
@@devonmartinez780 this isn't a HMS centric comment tho. I never specified that it was HMS related.
I wish that there was a little more depth to the interview but glad to see NASCAR apart if the show. Jeff Gordon GOAT 🏁
Jimmy Fallon doesn’t have depth
I wish Dale was still alive because having him and Jeff on jimmy Fallon is something I would love to see because I loved Dale and Jeff’s personality when they were together
Cool to see NASCAR getting some real respect from mainstream media and entertainment.
These guys are fearless lots of respect
The legend himself. Forever my favorite driver. I'm so glad he's still around the sport!
1:22 His first race is probably the most memorable NASCAR race ever. This is such a Fallon question
I listen to it at least once a year. Perfect race
Honestly just loved seeing Jeff taking a stand against folks camping out crawling along in the left lane. Keep right except to pass, y'all! (It's literally the law in many states)
It’s the law in every state. It’s just not enforced in some
I remember early 2000s watching NASCAR for the first time and then after that I’d sit there and watch the whole race. It’s crazy to see JG not racing anymore
My son Loved Jeff Gordon going up! Shits. Hats , posters, and magnets on his mirror!!
He seems so humble and nice!
Excellent interview 24. Awesome ambassador of our sport.
Man it was awesome being a kid in the 90’s and Jeff Gordon was my favorite driver. And now he’s retired it was one of the best runs in nascar you will ever see is by him. He won 52 races within his first 6 years truly incredible.
Jeff Gordon is right up there alongside Jordan, Shaq, Tom Brady, and Jeter. Athletes who were so great and iconic that they transcended just being popular in their respective sports to become household names. Hasn’t raced in a decade but is still called upon by NASCAR to be an ambassador for the sport on a national platform. That says a lot.
Jeff is such a goober and I love him. The sport definitely needs younger guys to hop on more podcasts and late night.
They have to get invited LOL
@@mitchbrown6652 bookings go through promoters. There’s a reason Jeff was on. To promote the 75th season of nascar. He wasn’t invited
@@timwellslive They still have to want him on. Who tf wants brad, joey, or some other weird douchebag on any late night shows? Sorry bud, nascar is dying
@@timwellslive Notice how it's 20 years later and jeff isen't even driving anymore and he is STILL the golden boy poster child for Nascar.... That's not a good sign bud
@@mitchbrown6652 yeah read the back half of my original comment…bud.
Jeff Gordon is The GOAT
Beautiful. Love Gordon and love seeing the respect and recognition for nascar on JF. Sick!
No matter if I see Jeff in the car ever again, Jeff Gordon will always be my hero!
Streets of Chicago? Whoa
Yup they're doing it like a couple weeks before the all-star race.
Jeff Gordon won the last race at north wilkesboro back in 96
THE GOAT 24EVER
I love Gordon but what a random guest appearance lol
Not really. The season is starting in a couple of weeks. 🎉🏁🏎️
Looking forward to the season and Looking forward to dover, new hampshire and pocono
Jeff Gordon was always my favorite driver. I retired NASCAR when he retired. #24ever
Jeff's first race was richard petty's last race. Changing of the guard so to speak
GordonMade our day:
it was so hard to get his Nicorette diecast car
Yay! Jeff Gordon 🏁
Gordon Mmade our day:
Jeff Gordon is my racing hero. _Rainbow Warrior_ & _wonderboy_ , iv endured it all as a fan & I'd endure it all again. You see , Jeff , Big Daddy, Gordon doesn't get enough credit for keeping ice in his veins against The Intimidator, Jeff truly has made his own mark on racing & continues to be with his role at HMS.
Jeff’s the man
That Chicago race will be insane 🤯
the mustaches are back in for young guys now lol
I was at that Race
We need more nascar personalities on here
All star race is at NORTHS WILKESBORO
I can't believe the Roots didn't play Nelly's "E.I." as Jeff Gordon entered 🏎
never watched nascar but i grew up knowing who the hell this guy was... always dope to see him in interviews. jordan gordan gretzsky bo jackson lol

Right to the childhood
Jeff Gordon won the last race at North Wilkesboro, he absolutely knows when the last race there was

Nascar is actually really fun to watch

Джефф Гордон- самый лучший гонщик в NASCAR.

Super G!
Never fails to dissapoint
I really miss the Gordon and Bowyer commentary. Come back to us Jeff. 😊
Jeff won the last north wilksboro race
DUDE CHICAGO RACE
Yeah it's not at Chicagoland this year, it's on the street.
@@SamuelDuplessis12 NASCAR hasn't hit Chicagoland since 2019...
Jimmy coulda asked Jeff about what his role at Hendrick and broadcasting schedule. Kinda feel for Jeff here. They sent him but they needed to do a better job prepping Jimmy
I dont know who is but he is very polite
He was a huge American icon in 90s and 00s
@@ColeslawCustard thanks
Lol
Raced against every seven time champion. If not for like a minute he’d have nine.

NASCAR is becoming relevant again!
Would love to see John Force on this show...he wouldn't even need a microphone, he's always yelling.
Been a fan of his since 1996 always a class act!!! Now I like Larson
Jeff let's race at indy on iracing. You'll remember what it's like to win again.
Little Jeffy!
George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama were Presidents of the USA throughout Jeff Gordon's 24 year career as a driver
Best driver of all time.
What kink of car does Jeff Gordon prefer to drive
Corvrttes
lol

Big fan of the rainbow crew. Jeff Gordon a class act through and through. Jimmy Fallon, not so much.
My favourite driver!! I started watching NASCAR b/c of Jeff Gordon 24!!
And I’m made of rubber

He looks a lot like Bolsonaro. 🤣
Looking good for a man over 75 yrs old
No no no Jeff Gordon is only 51 I believe. The sanctioning body of nascar which runs all the races is 75 years old
@@brennan1239 yup he's 51, he'll be turning 52 this August.

Jimmy Fallon is a horrible host. That is not a conversation. This is a guy just asking questions with a goofy voice.
At least it’s not Kimmel
@@ColeslawCustard I have to agree with you there.
@@ColeslawCustard kimmels alr
He was great until jimmi showed up,,,,,,,,,then not a chance day after day, race after race.
Wow if i was sittn by him again i will say Mr.Gordon, wow man what a great sport sir,the 4 time champ, hold my dew ,where the key ill drive, crash helmet please, and a bottle 191 in the tank
Nascar is dying, My opinion on what needs to be done to fix it.
1.Cars must remain the same color scheme the entire year. I turn on the race now and I have no idea who is leading or who is in the current screen and can not immediately or eventually recognize the cars. Usually after a few minutes I see where my drivers are running. Then fire up youtube and watch a 80s-90s or early 2000 race and then return to the current race at then end.
2. No downforce and about 1,000 horsepower. An interview with Carl Edwards asked him if he would come back and run just a couple races, his response was if the package was zero downforce and about 1,000 horsepower he could get excited about that. THis crap of a car trying to pass another as soon as they get close it aero pushes. There is no good side by side racing for more than a corner.
3. On restarts the lap down cars on the inside row. Some of the best racing is someone trying to get a lap back or someone trying to keep them a lap down.
4. If you cause a wreck you go to the back of the lead lap cars intentionally or not. The BS of the demo derby at the end.
5. The interview needs to return to victory lane. The wives family etc needs to be included
6.Scantily dressed females that look like ladies of the night need to put some clothes on or not be in victory lane. What decent wife would want to deal with that.
LOL
Lol. This is why you’re not in charge
Totally! Especially point #1!!!
thank God you're not in charge
From your set ‘of rules’, you’re not into Nascar much & I agree with the other commenters… glad you’re not in charge! 🤦♀️
He’s not even an active driver, and he hasn’t been for several years. There’s so many big personalities in NASCAR recently, there’s really no one active drivers they could bring on?
Even though he's 7+ years departed from driving, he's still way closer to being known in pop culture than 3/4 of the current field.
He’s a lot bigger deal than you have any idea about!
still probably the biggest name in Nascar. He made NASCAR mainstream.
@@Luke24160 him and Jr. definitely made NASCAR mainstream, both guys took every chance they could to be on the Today show, The View, Various late night shows, Various sitcoms and movies to get eyes on NASCAR. Those two really were the faces of NASCAR during the late 90s/early 00s, anytime someone interviewed a NASCAR driver or had a cameo in a movie or sitcom. Most of the time it was either Jr. or Jeff that's why they both still are ambassadors for the sport. Arguably two of the most recognizable faces in NASCAR.
Jeff gordon still the most popular driver in the sport and he’s been retired 6 almost 7 years
get with the times Jeff , Kyle Bush is the King of NASCAR winningest driver ever
