The second guy will be hard to take on in a 1v1 in a real game cuz of his positional and situational awareness. Others are your usual fight/flight defenders tackling on adrenaline rush. Defending is an art which requires presence of mind and the right technique.

I've always loved solid defenders over strikers. The ability to stop a good striker is far more impressive imo because the striker is making the decision while the defender is countering, it's an art. This coming from a striker 😂
They all went at the defenders pace…they all gave the defender all the time in the world…as a striker as soon as you touch the ball in the situation you have to make the defender pace you instead of letting the defender dictate your movement
I'm very good at jockeying, positioning, staying marked on my man, and not getting beat, but i suck at timing the tackle so most of the time i never put my foot in and wait for them to make a mistake so i can get my body between them and the ball. I think its because i was always coached to go into tackles very conservatively. I rely more on interceptions or blocking passes and shots.
should have used ocean ramseys shark re-direction technique and simply re-directed the defender thus making it easier to pass the said defender....works every time im told.
