That's actually a Very common thing in any mass situation man made or natural. Even just a car wreck can depend on the severity of a person's injuries whether they go local or bigger city, many times family members will be sent to different places according to injuries. Heck even a mom can get separated from her baby if the baby needs transporting to a NICU
