Alex jones isn't a dishonest person, he's actually on point about most of the things he says. However, he got this one wrong and has admitted for years that sandy hook happened. He never encouraged anyone to get hurt or harassed, he questioned the authenticity of a shooting and believed in the possibility that it may have been a false flag, which is not so far fetched considering that it is declassified and undeniable fact that false flags have been planned (google Operation Northwoods) and carried out.
With that being said Alex Jones may have been wrong about this one. He should be more careful about what he says as it can lead to innocent people being harassed/harm due to his large following. And now he is paying the price for his mistake.
This whole witch hunt seems to be a calculated and concerted effort to bury Alex Jones by the powers that be.
this is better than any show on tv right now
There is a point at which we should say that enough is enough.
I prefer that courts put priority in putting on trial murderers. This instead of just spending months on defamation suits.
Criminal trials (and hearings) ALWAYS get priority over civil matters for judges time. There is a hard rule of one year (after charges) to get to a criminal trial, that is rarely bumped up against (unless delays are requested by defense). For the last 25 years, courts across the USA hugely improved their performance on speedy resolution of trials. Case management, and self imposed discipline were key factors. Electronic filing and tracking judges performance (not publicly disclosed) helped too.
This ain't Bleak House anymore (Jarndyce v Jarndyce).
Fortunately for society we can all walk and chew gun at the same time. 2 different courts. 2 different systems. Your comment is nonsense
@@jakewilson3982 nope. Same judges hear criminal trials and civil trials. The jury commissioner gathers same jury pool for criminal trials and civil trials on same day - if there is a shortage, civil loses. One Clerk of Court is responsible for all cases, both civil and criminal (there are criminal departments and civil departments, but all under one Clerk).

This is a clown show. Whether google analytics was or wasn’t used - clicks do not represent monetary gain and without a google representative to discuss the model used, were therefore taking a lawyers IT “expertise” that somehow magically give explanations to monetary numbers that Alex profited off of. I think the attorney missed the chance to ask Paz if in her review did she see data from Google Analytics and follow up with whether or not she requestioned anyone. It's lose-lose for her since GA data and internal emails requesting/sending such data are in the depositions documents she reviewed. Jury may put it together, but better to have it on record that either she is lying or not diligent or that employees of AJ are lying.
I would argue that the analytics in the emails was sent to potential advertisers , that is not the company "using" the data, the company is transmitting the data for the use of the advertiser. the context of the initial line of questioning for analytics was if the company use them internally to determine programing content, which the company contends it does not. the burden of proof is on the accuser no matter how much people do not like that.

Its not a trial, its a penalty phase due to judicial misconduct.
To be clear it was not judicial misconduct. Jones' strategy was to default in the trial phase by not producing court-ordered documents. I.e. he weighed the option of giving up the documents and defending himself against the claim of defamation against the option of not giving up documents, accepting a loss, and going straight to damages. His legal strategy was to pick the latter.
No, it is because of misconduct done by Alex Jones. That is why he was found guilty by default. This is what happens when you don't follow a judge's orders. Not that complicated.
@@NuncNuncNuncNunc Incorrect. Jones failed to comply fully with discovery rules and regulations as well as other aspects of the litigations in both Texas and Connecticut. Which is why he lost both cases BY DEFAULT and moved right into the penalty phase.
@@NuncNuncNuncNunc Jones gave thousands of documents and sat for hours of depositions. You can't seriously act like Jones did not comply. The default judgment is judicial misconduct, and all you leftists know it. You know Jones could not be found liable for defamation by a jury because there was no actual malice and he never mentioned the families by name. So this is the court getting around that in an unprecedented move. As the plaintiffs admitted in the opening, this is about taking him off the air. It has nothing to do with the Sandy Hook families.

If he is really not allowed to say these things, then there should be a consequence for saying them.

Why do we even need a trial for this defendant?…. Why is this defense attorney willing to ruin his whole credibility for him? We are living in crazy times. To the families having to sit through such nonsense. I’m so sorry for your losses. Alex you are a coward. Truly disgusting.
i do wonder about how that guy even tried to defend him. i mean first he denied discovery. but then second .....hes alex jones. he even attacks judges wile hes being tried in court XD its insane
Truly abhorrent, despicable and deplorable indeed. Alex Jones is the epitome of everything that is wrong with America today.
Alex Jones is an American hero you are just brainwashed.
Norm Pattis has no credibility to lose, so he will feel free to turn the trial into a circus. Which is exactly what his POS client wants him to do.
Whats hilarious is after all this fuss the bankruptcy laws will prevent them from getting a dime from him. BW HA AH A

He's not a " former" fbi agent. He's still active
Which is actually more damning to his credibility.

Also can this guy learn to read without a teleprompter? Seems like he has a pretty easy job lol
His website claims that he’s known as Americas Fiercest Trial Lawyer. I kid you not.
Yet he has to read from his notes verbatim, using his index finger (!) - he’s marble-mouthed as well.

Lie, lie, get subpoenad, draw out the martyr card in court, and say Hillary Clinton also didi it. A tactic of a 5 year bullying kid used over and over again. My parrot uses similar logic to get his way, but he is still more human than these idiots as he usually feels remorse after a while.
