Alex jones isn't a dishonest person, he's actually on point about most of the things he says. However, he got this one wrong and has admitted for years that sandy hook happened. He never encouraged anyone to get hurt or harassed, he questioned the authenticity of a shooting and believed in the possibility that it may have been a false flag, which is not so far fetched considering that it is declassified and undeniable fact that false flags have been planned (google Operation Northwoods) and carried out.
With that being said Alex Jones may have been wrong about this one. He should be more careful about what he says as it can lead to innocent people being harassed/harm due to his large following. And now he is paying the price for his mistake.

Criminal trials (and hearings) ALWAYS get priority over civil matters for judges time. There is a hard rule of one year (after charges) to get to a criminal trial, that is rarely bumped up against (unless delays are requested by defense). For the last 25 years, courts across the USA hugely improved their performance on speedy resolution of trials. Case management, and self imposed discipline were key factors. Electronic filing and tracking judges performance (not publicly disclosed) helped too.

@@sweetsugarjones Ok, but it makes every difference as to his responsibility to appear. If you want libel to be a crime you'll have to repeal the first amendment. That or just move to Japan where it's already a crime. I'd also point out that suing someone into oblivion isn't a reward. It's actually the opposite of that.

Why do we even need a trial for this defendant?…. Why is this defense attorney willing to ruin his whole credibility for him? We are living in crazy times. To the families having to sit through such nonsense. I’m so sorry for your losses. Alex you are a coward. Truly disgusting.

Lie, lie, get subpoenad, draw out the martyr card in court, and say Hillary Clinton also didi it. A tactic of a 5 year bullying kid used over and over again. My parrot uses similar logic to get his way, but he is still more human than these idiots as he usually feels remorse after a while.
