I suffered a traumatic brain injury and I have no memory of it to this day. The effects of it are with me for life. I too, have been changed for good. And although some of the things that I deal with daily are not good, I know that my Father in Heaven will make all things turn out for good both in my life here and when I am in His presence. They could also show signs that they experienced enough pain and bullying in class that they'll want to kill everyone in school. Don't forget. These shooters may have had a reason to cause these actions. I know this because I've been bullied a lot. I was alone most of the time, even when I was involved. Yet, when I come home, it's like nothing ever happened. What's worse is when I argued with the people on a sports team when we played together, they treat me like a loser, a weakling, and a problem to everyone, even when I tried to stand up for myself and eventually lose my temper in the process. I also argued with the nerds since they said they were better than me and I would never do anything right. There were times where I wanted to shoot everyone and create an end of the world. There were other times to where I think they were right about me and I would try to commit suicide, stabbing and slapping myself several times. I also thought how my reputation that I created would fall since I was in other organizations and everyone would see me as a psychopath or violent criminal if I did do a school shooting. I tried so hard to prove everyone in school that I was worth something. After graduating, I vowed never to go back to those people ever again, especially the ones who gave me a lot of pain in the past. I thought of therapy before, but I knew they would probably make it worse by calling the cops on me or taking me to an asylum. I really don't trust the the therapy around either. At least I'm finally free from that torture and can move on from the past. I may have a lot of issues, but I know what it's like to deal with a lot of trauma.

“You know the guy that did that is a complete piece of s**t” and my teacher just looked at me and she said

I remember the Sandy Hook tragedy in 2012. I too, was in elementary school and the same age as those kids that had their lives taken away from them. My elementary school in Connecticut paid tribute to one child in particular, Catherine, that died. Our school had rebuilt our playground for her and her mother gave an impactful speech to us. I wasn't able to grasp the severity of the situation at the time and I thought it was cool that we had a new playground. It wasn't until I was put into a bad position myself that I realized how many beautiful kids died in Baby Kayli's song when I was in a homeless shelter.

I don't think so but to be honest as someone who didn't and hoping to never go through this , I don't really know what else to say .

@@PonyBoy1776 are you serious? This stuff (school shootings) doesn't happen in other Western countries, even countries were citizens are allowed to own firearms. @benjobanjo7475 Год назад

@@michalovesanimeYes it does. I can give you a list of school shootings from around the world. And that's not anything to do with guns anyway. if people WANTED TO they could drive cars into school kids of stab them to death. USA has had guns and schools around for centuries without this problem. And there are MANY nations with much higher shooting rates then the USA. Banning guns does not save life or stop anything.

For example; Columbine survivor Crystal Woodman-Miller published a book about her experience on April 20th, 1999 that was titled "Columbine: Marked for Life." Even though Crystal was not physically injured she was left marked with a mental and emotional scar that she will carry with her for the rest of her life.

I was 7 when Columbine happened. And it was, for a WHILE, the example of a school shooting. Then Virginia Tech happened when I was 14 in 2007 and THAT became the example. Then Sandy Hook when I was 20 in 2012.
And then suddenly it wasn’t just in school. Aurora and Sandy happened in the SAME year. MGM VEGAS and Parkland BOTH happened in the same year. Suddenly it wasn’t 5 years apart or even 10 years apart. With Texas, it’s just proof that parents were ultimately okay with Sandy Hook. That they chose guns over children and mental health. And I’m someone who supports armed defense. Nobody wants to solve the issue. Just make it disappear.
I’m numb. Nobody truly cares. If they did, parents would change. The COUNTRY would have changed. And this is why we feel such a sense of doom. The ones who CAN prevent these aren’t. And the children pay the price.
