I live in CT. My kids play on the playground dedicated to her daughter. I saw her at the playground shortly after it was finished. I wanted to give her a hug. A guy I worked with played music at her daughter's funeral. God bless her. She is such a strong woman. I'm sick of all this gun violence especially school shootings. I'm terrified for my children
If you knew the real truth about Greene, you'd never let your kid ever set foot in that playground again. Her daughter is still alive by the way.

This is so heartbreaking 💔 poor elementary schoolers :( they woke up that morning thinking it was gonna be a normal day at school but that would be the last day they’d see their parents..

The agony parents go through for hours and hours. She is correct that love should motivate action. What ever form that takes. Increased training, alter buildings for safety, guards, ambulances and medics, crisis response teams...law enforcement teams and equipment...

She is a powerful woman and I thank God she is able to take her unbelievable pain and help others. We need more people in the world like her. She is right, people around those who losted loved ones to senseless and horrific acts of violence. Need people more then just now, they need them around supporting them for the rest of their lives. This pain is unbearable.

@@jom678 My point is, she, and her husband are DHS-owned for life. WHY?...Because they sold their souls and partipated in a scheduled CAPSTONE DHS exercise. The school in Newtown wasn't even open and was decommissioned and closed since 2008. It was only being used for storage and it was scheduled to be torn down, anyway. DHS used photos of the 20 kids as victim propaganda. How did they get the parents and the rest of the town to participate? The government paid off nearly every home mortgage around the school. Almost everybody got a free house on Dec. 25th, 2009. It's all in the public property tax records, which I saved screenshots of. This includes the Greenes, Gene Rosen, Scarlett Lewis, Nicole Hockley,etc....The kids have been alive and well all this time, they just graduated high school. If you want to confirm the kids yourself, all you need to do is compare the 20 kids with the kids that were singing behind Jennifer Hudson at the 2013 Superbowl almost two months later....except the kids were four years older at the superbowl....seven of them were positively identified in that little choir. I can not make this stuff up.

I've always be under the understanding that our children and our elders are precious, what kind of world do we live in where they are not held sacred, protected, and honored as blessings to have?. Let us not forget these families and victims, in Texas, Sandy Hook, or the children in abusive or exploited situations or those who languish in the foster system, the recent grocery store massacre which harmed black elderly shoppers, our frail elders who perished in nursing homes due to COVID-19 by the millions!!!. Let's not forget the opioid epidemic with the many lives that continues to take every day. America's law makers need to answer to something, because answering with nothing but meaningless words, isn't cutting it anymore!. They need to be realistic, this is the world today, we should protect people, place value on lives much better then this.
I think gun sellers should also be monitored. How do you sell such rifles to an 18-year-old without asking questions or alerting police

I agree with gun control laws but we also really need our schools to not let people in and out like it’s their home. Nobody should go in without getting checked just like a courthouse. Our children are just as important as the members of the court. We have way to much technology now. Someone should’ve been monitoring the school via cameras, there should be an automatic gate in the main door that locks in the event there’s a stranger approaching like this and our classrooms should also be better designed with escape doors. This didn’t happen one time, and unfortunately might not be the last. Enforce security at our schools and protect our children!
Are you aware of how much it can cost a school district to employ multiple security guards, equipment, and technology to be installed and maintained in school buildings? It’s certainly not cheap. Would you be willing for your taxes to increase every year for that? Sandy hook had a door that automatically locked after someone went in, that didn’t stop the shooter from entering the school. These are schools there not meant to be the TSA at an airport. It’s supposed to be an educational and nurturing environment not a prison. I say ban assault rifles 100 percent and enhance federal background checks. Armed Security guards yes but let’s not go overboard with technology that may fail.
Also, maybe police shouldn't take an hour to stop the shooter.
