These kids would’ve been 13 this year entering 8th grade. I can’t believe it. I was in 7th grade when this happened. This still shakes my mind.
I was the same age as these kids when this happened. When I was getting ready for school one day, my mom was bawling watching the News. Little did I know that she was crying because kids _my_ age had been shot to death.

I will tell you what happened. The police took you out of the school so that they could stage a shooting. There was a FEMA drill that took place at the exact same time which gave them the footage they released. In that footage you can see HAPPY children skipping down the road holding their parents' hands. Not something you would see after a horrific shooting.
Maybe when you're a bit older you'll understand why the government would do something like this, but when you feel ready go and watch some of the many videos out there debunking this.
Everytime I come across this, I cry my eyes out. I am so sorry to all of those sweet little children. May they rest in eternal peace.

My little sister was killed in this horrific shooting. My mom got a phone call that my sister was in critical condition and that the school has been shot up and she had been shot. She died on the way to the hospital. I miss her so much. Grace is her name and I miss her so much but now she is playing in the sky and she is safe 💖💖

Seven years that a long time, yet it still feels that same.Pure disbelief and sadness.
This breaks my heart. These kids were just only a year younger than me and I can’t ever imagine this happening. Missing out on so much life.
Damn, I just recently realized that these kids were my age when this happened, they were my year, I never knew that grade of these children, I wasn’t told anything, I found out about this years after it happened and it pains me to know that while I was happy at school getting ready for Christmas, these children were scared and being shot on the same day

Same, I learned about this today and they would be in our grade. I think it's awful. I remember liking the song "Pumped Up Kicks", which if you haven't heard, was a refrence to this shooting. I recently listened to it again, googled the meaning, and here I am. My parents kept me oblivious to this for so long, and now, I just wish the best for the families. :(

I have cried on and off all day watching stories back and forth. This still hurts, still makes us ask why, why were these babies taking away so soon ... I cannot help but feel like, what are we missing in this message? I watched the pastor from Dublin share his feelings from the 1996 primary school shooting, I am at a loss. 😔😪
These kids would be my age. I was 7 when this happened and I remember being so worried about the victims and their families.

I was as old as them. I remember having a practice for this. I’m now 14 and I still can’t believe it happened.

I hope in the near future every school will have like an more secure room to hide if something like this would happens. But I think that school shooting shouldn't even happen in the first place. I can't sit hear and watch this without crying and having some fear still of another school shooting because my daughter is 5 in kindergarten and I watch this hoping that none of us ever have to live through this kind of horror like these children and families are going through each and every day. I will never understand why this happens and why this world can be so cruel sometimes. It saddens me greatly😢 my heart ❤goes out to anyone that has gone through this. May God be with you 🇺🇸💯

orlando shooting brings me here, im teary eyed while watching this such a young kids with lots of dreams in the future,, why did those evil did this (deep sigh) it breaks my heart!! these little kids will be our angels in heaven now.. ohh GoD why there are such an evil people in this world why those children... its 2016 already but its really painful to remember this.. :'(

I remember I was the same age as those kids when it happened. I remember sitting on my dad’s lap and I remember his face was in pure shock. And I was so little I didn’t understand what was going on. Now a highshooler to see everything that has happened and that nothing has changed is sick. Rest In Peace to all them ❤️💕
I can remember when this happened, I was 10 and on a hockey trip for my older brothers team. It was around Christmas time and I was watching the news with my mom in the hotel room. It really stuck with me because it was the first time I heard of something so real and horrific.
I was 10 too. I was held back so I was only a grade or two above them. I just made it to my grandmothers house and it was on the 5pm news and my dad and grandma didn’t shelter it from me. It made me sick and I had indescribable sickening feeling it wasn’t over. And my grandmother even said it wasn’t over and now look at the world
