Her mother was so selfish in that moment. I understand that it would be hard for you to hear that, but your daughter needed you to listen. I couldn't imagine how my child would feel in their last moments knowing that I hung up on them in that situation.
I also think she should've stayed on the phone with her but I feel like it was an impulsive reaction in that situation because she was terrified. no one wants to hear a loved one being shot and killed over the phone.

“Did you get to see his face?” “What did it sound like?” “Why didn’t you have enough time?” Cmon man it’s a school shooting. No one would be thinking about these question!
She’s so brave. To come out and do this interview, she was so young during this no person child or adult should ever have to go through this. What an eloquently spoken brave young lady
“Did the swat team knock on the door” -Like what does the interviewer expect her to say maybe “Oh ya the swat team knocked they didn’t want to disturb the shooter”
Mowac yes, the drill not the shooting. And don't you think its odd that they were both "drills" were advertised days before(this and Vegas) and both "only shooters" were on psychotropic drugs? But the vegas guys were only in stomach not in bloodstream. But this does not disclude that the tradegy happened and/or that all those families and others across the nation are living in fear. They need God's comfort if only to deal with the fear. Just because you want God to comfort someone during trials and tribulations, doesn't make you dumb, it makes you empathetic and compassionate. Try feeling some.
Why would she ask questions to bring back that traumatisation, like “wAs iT sHeEr pAnIc??” “Nah fam, it was all cool” What were you expecting her to say??
I agree that some questions were insensitive, but you're getting this one wrong. She asked the girl if when she played dead it was out of panic, like a first instinct, or if she could actually think and decide. There are people that actually manage to think things through in such moments, I think out of all the questions that was one of the fine ones.
mizzury54// it’s the way I saw it from the video, my dearest apologies YOUR HIGHNESS, you had a great point before you said “why are people so dumb” BECOME LESS TOXIC IN THE FUTURE, and have a terrific life. xoxo, sometimes, it’s ok to be a decent human ♥️
I think it's more so because someone else is distracting them. Someone is always panicking more than you. Someone is always more scared than you. Someone will always be more visibly frightened than you. Most people would rather stop those alerting others about what's happening than those making sure they aren't in the gunman's way.
@A Human being with no brain 😔 If *you* don't wanna acknowledge that this person stole a comment, then better say “I don't care” cuz a lot of other people care

same with the fact that we go to school which is supposed to be a safe place and you don't really know when you go to school one day if you will come back . And that's the sad reality of it all.
This happened 4 miles from my home. It creeps me out, and it’s so scary. I can’t imagine what this girl has been through at such a young age. She is a survivor, not a victim. She is super strong, and I hope she has the love and support she deserves. This broke my heart.
I get not wanting to hear your child die, but I still can't imagine hanging up on my child when they needed comfort the most. I probably would have told her to stop talking and just don't move. I would be afraid to talk only because the shooter might hear. But even in silence knowing your loved one is there can still be comforting. Very tragic situation.
If my child had to go through something like that the LEAST I could do is try and comfort them through it , it’s an honour she got to even speak to her in that moment , I know we can’t judge until being in that situation but god I don’t think I could forgive my mum if she hung up on me in that situation
@@Jacson_23 How would you know? Have you ever been in that situation? Your brain does not work properly in trauma. Can you not be gross and insensitive? Thanks
I don't care what anyone says, that kind of cowardly act is almost unforgivable.. if the only thing I could do for my daughter in that moment was to tell her I was there and that I loved her, to close her eyes and be brave, to feel my arms, my love, my strength pouring into you, then I would do whatever was necessary to ease just a fraction of her fear, to just be there when she needed someone the most, because no matter how scared I was, how afraid I was that my daughter would be killed, nothing I was feeling would hold a candle to the fear my baby was in. Hanging up on her would never have crossed my mind, I know myself, and hanging up on her would NOT have been an option.
