    “Somewhere out there, there is a mom saying ‘I cannot imagine their pain’ not know it’ll be her pain.” This line is so damn powerful. Im a mom and this is my sentiments exactly. I cannot imagine sending my 5 year old to school and him being returned to me in a body bag. I’d die. I’d literally die. My son is my whole world. I spent 40 whole weeks making him. I’ve spent the last 5 years raising him into the best human he can be. I’ve loved him with every ounce of me. And I couldn’t survive if he was just so violently ripped away from me. It is a miracle these parents are still standing. They deserve better. They deserve significant change. The country as a whole deserves this so no more parents, sisters, brothers, etc… have to go through this.
    RIP to all the souls that have been senselessly taken far too soon.

    I was in 8th grade when sandy hook happened and I remember being absolutely mortified that someone would target such little innocent children. My baby brothers were in elementary at the time and I cried so much imagining what life would be like if it had happened at their school. They’re in high school now and nothing has changed. I now have two more brothers one in elementary and one in middle school and all 4 of them come home telling us about the lockdowns and drills they have once a week. It’s heartbreaking that those in power do nothing to stop what’s been happening every year for the past 20 years.

    And, to those of us who know the loss and pain of losing someone close, due to gun violence? @@sivonni the only noteworthy "change" I've seen to date, is holding parents of such mentally ill young accountable when such tragedy occurs. I'm referring to the mass shooting in Michigan. I believe the perp's name is Ethan Crumbley. Not too long ago, the mother was convicted for her part in the negligence and has yet to be sentenced. The father on the other hand, is still waiting to go to trial. Hopefully, the sentences imposed upon the parents are equally as harsh as they were to the son. This is assuming a guilty verdict will also be the outcome to the father as well of course. While this doesn't bring back the dead, hopefully it gives the families of the victims some semblance of closure that justice was served.

    As a Canadian looking on.... I wish I could give each one of those four survivors of the Sandy Hook incident a hug. May your remaining years of life bring you peace with your future life endeavours. I don't want to imagine how that must feel, already having to live through a traumatic experience of this magnitude at grade school level, and now hearing/reading about it going on in another part of the country all over again as a teenager. Sadly, I feel as though nothing will change. The bloodshed will continue. It's not a matter of IF, but WHEN? Hopefully, not too soon into the future. Having just heard of the massacres in Buffalo and Uvalde occurring not even two weeks apart, makes it beyond concerning to those of us living outside of the U.S. It's going to get to the point where there's not going to be one American in existence who hasn't lost at least one family member to gun violence before change takes effect. And that time isn't going to be long at the rate this trend continues. It saddens me to hear of this happening in what's supposed to be the best country in the world. At this point, I don't care if I offend those who deeply care about their rights to their guns. To me, and I'm sure MILLIONS of others, will perceive this as taking the rights to their guns, taking precedence over the rights of innocent people not to have their lives cut short to senseless, preventable gun violence.

She was saying how could there not be this type of education of a gunman shooting actively at an educational institute in many more countries and that we should be prepared and what not, but reality of it is, they never think of how difficult it is in other countries to obtain a gun and therefore so much more rare for a psycho person to willingly go shooting just for the thrill of mass murdering. What we don't need are criminals, parents hiding secrets, parent raising kids without morals or lack of discipline, proper attention, if their kids are bullys, or not knowing if their kids are being bullied, family disfunction, growing up around criminals, unaware of their kids activities in the house or out of the house. My opinion is a solution but could minimize incident for our world isn't perfect but we must do what we can to prevent a terrible future. How about reforming parenting how about reforming bullying how about reforming not being bullied how about reforming mental issues, reforming from becoming a criminal, reform options. Combine that with the ease of obtaining a gun and there you have our current state. Why is it always sooo important that it was an assault rifle ?! Most school shootings were perpetrated with pistols. This is the wrong way to approach getting rid of school shooting. These poor kids never knew what was going to happen when they went to school in Uvalde and Sandy hook. They never knew that they were going to die by the hands of a lunatic. There were warning signs in the sandy hook shooter ( I refuse to use his name and give him any attention)when he was 6 years old ! He wrote a book about murder and other horrible stuff when he was just 6 years old. The same with Uvalde. Banning guns will achieve nothing ! Why ban the tools everyday people use to defend themseoves.?! It make no sense at all. It's pushing an agenda that the government loving democrats want to implement. They want everyday people to be disarmed because it means they can control anything they want to without being in fear of militias or a population that has had enough of a tyrannical government infringing on their right to bear arms and the right to freedom of expression and many more rights that can enable the government( and I mean dems or rebs it doesn't matter) to line their employees pockets (politicians , high ranking officials) and keep the people submissive.I think that banning high capacity is pointless. You can need 30 rounds or more to defend yourselves. Just look at bodycam footage ! Criminals high on something or even sober have taken 20 rounds + and still pose a threat. Also, criminals do not abide by laws. So by banning firearms you take away the everyday citizens ability to defend themselves from criminals , mass shooter etc while criminals are still armed . If a dude wants to go on a rampage and can't use guns ? He will use bombs. Can't use bombs ? He will use a truck ? No truck ? Knife....and it goes on and on. How about we actually focus on fixing the problem of mass killers ( yes , not shooters because of the general problem of mass killers , no matter the weapon) and stop pushing liberal agendas. Now on to the victims of the killings. I feel horrible for these kids . They are lucky to be alive but at the same time they are scarred for life. I am proud of them for overcoming the terrifying experience of mass killings. They seem to have processed a great deal of their grief ( not all of course). I don't know if could be as strong.
    Using these kids as a political weapon for banning guns is despicable , deplorable and sinister.

However, we tend to automatically erase or forget things once they turn out not to be true (or at least when that's what we think). But again, truth remains by nature, while lies require maintenance. The story doesn't help. More gun control will NOT do anything. However the good person will put down the gun but the person that wants to do evil will never leave the gun alone. Uvalde is the perfect example why we need our second amendment. Also not making hard on good people to arm themselves.

    If I were a Sandy Hook victim, I would have been choking up, thinking about the horrible events the Uvalde victims had to go through and upset at the incompetence of the officers and security.
    I didn't see that in these victims, except for Jackie. She was convincing.

      Why do the have to convince you ??

    • @IndependentMind115
      @IndependentMind115 Год назад

      @@ABCDEF-no1cv First, there are rumors that the whole thing was set up, just as there are rumors of Sandy Hook being set up. The children from Sandy Hook just disappeared for the sake of privacy, but people reported seeing the deceased victims at certain locations afterwards.
      Again, it's very odd that law enforcement was told by superiors to stand down, and certain officers tazed individuals who sought to do something about it. If anything, it's simply that the law enforcement were so highly incompetent that they allowed the deaths of many more than there would have been if they had intervened sooner. At worse, this was set up. Also, the students either died or didn't die. I'll be waiting for reports of people seeing the deceased in various places across the country, but until then, I'll just assume they're dead. That's what we did when Sandy Hook happened, but then people kept seeing them in other places and even enrolled at other schools. The law enforcement at Sandy Hook even did a drill that very morning of how to handle a mass shooting, and this was when mass shootings were not as common as they are today. Both the fact that the drill was on the same morning and that shootings were quite rare in those days seem to scream out conspiracy.
      My mom told me that years after the Challenger exploded, she saw a faculty photo of one of the Challenger victims online, Judith Resnik, and there was no indication that the faculty member had deceased. Today, you can still find a Judith Resnik at Yale Law that looks exactly like an older version of the original Judith Resnik. Other people have done some sleuthing and found all but one of the victims in real life. Ellison Onizuka from Japan evidently has a twin that's still living, and according to Wikipedia, he was the family's spokesperson. But many have seen Claude Onizuka and not been able to tell a difference between Ellison and Claude, so the twin brother explanation is very convenient.
      To close, the CIA director under Reagan in 1981 said, "We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false." People have taken this quote to many things ranging from scientific facts we've learned since we were young to crises that don't pan out, like 9/11 or Sandy Hook. Others even take it to mean that when everyone becomes conspiracy theorists and don't believe what they are presented, then the disinformation program is complete. Conspiracy theorists can go on and on about these cases, and as I said before, people have done some major sleuthing already. So no, these kids in the video don't show the trauma I would expect in mass shooting victims. The body language isn't there. The hesitancy in the voice to speak out is not there. The only one that showed any of these signs was Jackie. She was convincing. This might very well be another Sandy Hook, just as all the media have portrayed it to be.

      you arent a sandy hook victim, you will never know the true extent of what they went through, especially as you are displaying your gross lack of empathy

    • @IndependentMind115
      @IndependentMind115 5 месяцев назад

      @jordanfires9777 Neither are you, so you cannot fully understand the full extent of what they went through, either. I do show empathy in many situations that evoke empathy. I currently empathize with all the Palestinian victims that are going through Hell. But that doesn't mean I accept one thing as fact and never question it. There were many things about the Sandy Hook shooting that did not sit right with people. Coincidences. Anomalies. Even personal stories.
      I see current victims of mass shootings crying and getting furious at the leadership in our country, but somehow, these victims don't show as much...when they were some of the first.
