Still breaks my heart. 20 innocent children, now 20 angels. No parent should worry that 1st grade child might be shot at a place they should feel safe. And don't even get me started on the people who think this was a hoax. Those people are truly heartless.
Not saying its a hoax at all, but theres nothing really on this. No documentary, no true release of anything related to a shooting besides pictures of the rooms with nothing in them. Comparing it to columbine makes it easy to spot how there was actual footage of dylan and eric with guns and setting off bombs and that was far before security was raised over all schools. so I can understand why the idea of a hoax would come to mind, especially when they don't even have a picture of the kid holding a weapon at all. I do know through the fog of video games and anti gun propaganda, the school system seriously makes it easy for a kid with an unstable life go entirely insane nowadays.

The ground view shows NO AMBULANCES and the garage about 2 car widths from the firehouse. About 30 feet away. And there are police cars everywhere parked. No go to the helicopter view. The police cars are GONE, and 4 ambulances there now, and the garage is too far away to be seen like in the real world ! Then it goes back to ground view. The ambulances are GONE, the police cars are back (about 20+ cars) , the garage is close again ! All in under 1 second to switch cameras ! This is showing IMPOSSIBLE THINGS ! As to how, the helicopter view was probably from a different day then the ground view. That is the only explanation. For the garage moving, it had to be a DIFFERENT LOCATION, or edited. What the nurse says about her name being called in that strangled way - that's something I recognize. When a friend of mine died, even though we knew it was coming, when I got the news, I got that same strangled tone in my voice when I yelled for another acquaintance who knew the deceased.

I remember being a freshman in highschool at the time living in Hartford, being unaware of what was going on 50ish miles away from me, drawing in my notebook. there's something sadly relieving about being unaware but still close enough that had I been at the wrong area, I could have been in the situation.

I had the same thoughts initially. Not everyone has the wherewithal to act in the face of such violence and extreme fear. I don't fault her, having not been in her situation. It makes those who do act in heroic ways to save others, without regard for personal safety, so inspiring.

At 4:47 the school nurse says there's a camera at the front entrance (which is where Lanza shot his way in) so this begs the question WHY ISN'T THERE A SINGLE SOLITARY STILL IMAGE OR PIECE OF CC FOOTAGE showing Lanza entering the school?? or just simply showing Lanza at all? If we're to go with the official story of Lanza shooting his way in and bypassing the school's security systems then the school failed big time; and ultimately it is the school that is held accountable(I also remember reading somewhere that most, if not all of the classroom doors can only be locked from the outside) BUT SOMEHOW...for some reason, not a single parent or family member of any of the victims filed a lawsuit against the school district; which is unprecedented btw for anyone paying attention out there.
@@ianmangham4570 But wallace isn't wrong. It was a non-recording camera that gave the main office a live feed. It had an intercom system for the staff and visitor to talk and that's it. This is all well documented in the Connecticut State Police Sandy Hook report.

Are you asking why she didn't tell other people in the school that there was a shooter? How would she have done that? She needed to use the phone to call for police. And what would it have accomplished? The initial shots were heard all over the school.
Actually, school shootings used to be really rare and unheard of, until a spike of shootings a few years ago. Luckily, we’re doing much better now, and we know how to handle it and spot the signs, with something like SeeSomethingSaySomething.
I have Asperger's and I've been through the isolation and social neglect Adam must have experienced. The obsessive nature of the disease mixed with his knowledge of fire arms, addiction to violent video games, and his anxiety with people just created the perfect storm. He probably knew what he was going to do weeks ahead

Today 2 shooters walked into a Dever area school and started shooting. 1 person is dead and 8 injured. I dont want to say it. But now most people are completely desensitized to school shootings now. They arent, at all, surprising now. Its terribly sad that that is where we are. My heart goes out to all the victims of any school shooting.

The nurse says the shooter opened the door to the office while she was crouched behind a desk and then left. A few minutes later she states that she and the nurse went into a supply closet and locked the door, and felt safer because they were now behind TWO locked doors. HMM...

Yeah you never know how you're going to react but I do know if I had been there and lived and thought there was anything I could have done to stop it I wouldnt be able to live with myself. Going through a school shooting of your own really puts that into perspective. Name and face and motives plastered all over the news as if they deserve any attention.
Great tragedies are just political fuel to some people. People like to feel like they are smarter than others. People like to think they have worked out some big plot. Nothing will convince them otherwise. Just be glad they are hidden behind internet aliases rather than out on the streets. In the real world these people don't show themselves thankfully. The ones who do may get a dose of reality.

I`m late on this, but I gotta step in. I have three shotguns and a handgun. My neighbor has even more weapons. He has three kids. Everybody where I live have weapons. Very few have gun safe's as you describe. He doesn't. I don't. Nobody has been shot at the two nearby elementary schools. This was a tragedy, perpetrated by a nut. You taught kids well I suppose. But there are not so smart, violent, and mentally ill kids. Even average kids who just get curious, or think that they just won’t do to much harm. Yes, you may not have a safe. But that doesn’t mean other people without safes can’t do damage. Don’t conclude based on only what you have seen, and consider other stances.
I have yet to find ANY other pictures of this “family”. Separate or together. They only show the same pictures of each “member” of the family & yet the dad is always having semiconductor hand comments... he has never been seen on video...
It is slightly odd that you don’t hear very much at all from the people who were closest to the Lanza’s. One or two interviews. There should be more people who knew of them and want to note what they witnessed, or the strange family dynamic. I didn’t even know he had a brother. Haven’t seen his father speak out either. Maybe he has and I just haven’t seen it. I guess people could be ashamed and not wish to speak out publicly. However, the oddest thing to me is that we can’t find multiple pictures of Adam Lanza. It’s just the same two pictures over and over and no real pictures of his mother either. No pictures of him and his mother together. No family portraits. It’s just odd. Not saying it didn’t happen. But the circumstances I just mentioned make this odd to me, amongst other interviews I’ve seen of people connected to this situation acting strangely.

However, we can play Devil’s advocate and analyze the situation objectively, and compare the expected pattern of human emotions to such a tragedy with the reactions observed in this particular case. Almost like an AI system would. So for example: In a real mass-casualty tragedy, one would typically expect the loved ones of the victim(s) to show the following behaviors: • Display deep signs of sadness & grief (excessive crying, depression, inconsolability, withdrawal from the public) • Express anger at the perpetrator(s) and/or their situation • File lawsuits against the perpetrator, their family, and/or the parties involved which failed to properly protect their loved ones (ex. The school, the police department, etc.) Now just taking these three qualities alone, let’s compare it to what people saw in the case of the SH tragedy: • Many people have observed that none of the family members have expressed weeping or inconsolability at their situation. It has been pointed out that not a single tear has been seen visibly shed by most-if not any-of the family members. • Not only this, but it has been observed by others that most of those affected are smiling, grinning, laughing, or expressing signs of happiness during many of the interviews conducted with them - even hours and days after the tragedy, as well as beyond. This behavior, as pointed out by many, is extremely atypical and unusual. • Moreover, a great deal of the family members have been emotionally and mentally stable enough to provide interviews with the mass media, even delivering speeches in public venues and in front of large crowds, including lobbying efforts and fundraiser events - even wearing professional clothing, makeup, and fancy jewelry, all of which is a striking lack of the social withdrawal, emotional breakdown, and lack of self-regulation that would be highly expected in the days, weeks, and months following such a tragic situation of this scale. • Even more so, none of the family members have expressed any anger towards the perpetrator or their family. In fact, many people have pointed out that they have shockingly voiced their forgiveness of the culprit and his loved ones - even just hours and days following the incident - and stated things such as (in paraphrase): “It’s okay that my child didn’t get to celebrate their birthday planned for the day after the tragedy. I know that they are having a great time in Heaven with their fellow classmates” And when one father was explicitly asked by a reporter (just one day after the incident) why he didn’t express any sense of rage as expected, he responded: “God gave the criminal the free will to do what he wanted, just like we call have the free will to do whatever we want” _(paraphrased)_ These shocking statements not only divert from the normal expected response of an individual who had just lost their baby in a brutal and horrific fashion just hours earlier, but is exactly what one would expect in the scenario of warding off attention to a potentially underlying agenda beneath the situation at hand (according to some people’s opinion, of course). On top of all this, it has been noted that none of the families have filed lawsuits against the school system, nor the police department, nor the perpetrator’s family - all of which is extremely common, expected, and valid in the days following the tragedy. This is despite the fact that there appears to have been many errors and signs of negligence on the part of law enforcement, the school, and other parties - which could have easily (and justifiably) been sued for their negligence and failure to protect those poor first-graders. Now according to some: ALL of these traits _might_ be explainable if it was displayed by just one, or perhaps a couple of the families; but the fact that _all twenty-six large families_ displayed these shockingly atypical reactions and breaches of normal human patterns of emotion - is statistically highly improbable, and thus justifiably worthy of arousing suspicion, or at the very least a great deal of confusion (in the view of many). Of course, this is just what other people say. I don’t necessarily hold this view myself, and my heart goes out to all those affected by the horrific tragedy. But just to respond to your own comment - I wanted to point out that it’s not ALWAYS necessarily “confirmation bias” that is at play, if we analyze the situation objectively. But indeed, we need to watch out for such biases. And RIP to all victims. Peace.
I have Adam Lanza's disability and I can tell you that going to public school is 13 years of utter hell. The girl that said "he wanted to be left alone and we left him alone" is lieing through her teeth. It's very true he wanted to be left alone but I can guarantee that kids don't just leave alone someone who is different and can't pull off the normal "cool" exactly the same as everybody else persona that students are expected to be in society. Kids don't know what Adam Lanza suffers from and just bully him like anyone else who is different. (Just troll someone on Call of Duty and you will quickly find out how much kids know about autism.) The fact that people can't figure out the motive for the shooting boggles my mind. One can only take so much shit upon thy head before they snap. We can't stop kids from bullying people but there is another way to solve the problem: Secure your guns if you have a victim of 13 years of nonstop harassment living in your house. If his mother wasn't dead she should be charged with 26 accounts of accessory to murder. I have the exact same disability as this kid had and when I've bought guns (not a bushmaster, that would be embarrassing) I go tell the guy at the gunstore what I want and have a gun in my hand a week later with absolutely no investigation into my mental stability what so ever. If Adam was a matter of months older he could do the same and wouldn't have to have an idiot mother to commit a crime like this. It's very clear we need some changes in our gun laws, but it's gonna be hard to make that happen without everyone crying about "the government taking my guns away" or "the terrorists win" or some other bullshit sensationalist complaint like that.

Look closely at the expressions of people in the news footage, the nurse in this interview, the kids interviewed (some interviewed at the scene without parents protectively wrapped around them, no hysterical tears)...there's very little emotion, untimely smiles...just odd really.

I'm really tired of seeing the words 'hoax' or 'conspiracy' all over the comments of these videos. You people say you would be happy if some kind of evidence were released but I get the feeling that even if you assholes were inside the building the moment it happened you'd still call it a hoax. As far as people not seeming 'human' in their reactions or reacting in 'fake' ways, how does anyone respond to a tragedy like this? No one could ever imagine something like this happening and when it does happen people are completely stunned by it, they don't know how to react! Hell I don't know how I would react to having my kid or someone I know or work with shot dead and I definitely don't think I would want to open my eyes and look around if a first responder to a shooting was telling me not to look, I don't care if I work as nurse where I would see people die all the time in brutal ways I still don't want to live with the image of seeing colleagues or children that I know brutally murdered, that is extremely upsetting and these people that actually did experience it have to take the images with them wherever they go. It is slightly odd that you don’t hear very much at all from the people who were closest to the Lanza’s. One or two interviews. There should be more people who knew of them and want to note what they witnessed, or the strange family dynamic. I didn’t even know he had a brother. Haven’t seen his father speak out either. Maybe he has and I just haven’t seen it. I guess people could be ashamed and not wish to speak out publicly. However, the oddest thing to me is that we can’t find multiple pictures of Adam Lanza. It’s just the same two pictures over and over and no real pictures of his mother either. No pictures of him and his mother together. No family portraits. It’s just odd. Not saying it didn’t happen. But the circumstances I just mentioned make this odd to me, amongst other interviews I’ve seen of people connected to this situation acting strangely.

I know I know I am going to get so much hate for saying this I’m not saying it didn’t happen but you have to admit the people who were supposedly the ‘real’ People involved are just so bizarre acting in my opinion. if you juxtapose these interviews to virtually almost any other interview of someone involved in a similar situation even columbine these people are just so wooden and it almost seems rehearsed. I can’t put my finger on it but something is just fishy
that’s called confirmation bias. you do (or did bc its been a few years) believe that’s it’s fake subconsciously. so everything they do that seemed ‘strange’, seems like confirmation.

However, we can play Devil’s advocate and analyze the situation objectively, and compare the expected pattern of human emotions to such a tragedy with the reactions observed in this particular case. Almost like an AI system would. So for example:
In a real mass-casualty tragedy, one would typically expect the loved ones of the victim(s) to show the following behaviors:
• Display deep signs of sadness & grief (excessive crying, depression, inconsolability, withdrawal from the public)
• Express anger at the perpetrator(s) and/or their situation
• File lawsuits against the perpetrator, their family, and/or the parties involved which failed to properly protect their loved ones (ex. The school, the police department, etc.)
Now just taking these three qualities alone, let’s compare it to what people saw in the case of the SH tragedy:
• Many people have observed that none of the family members have expressed weeping or inconsolability at their situation. It has been pointed out that not a single tear has been seen visibly shed by most-if not any-of the family members.
• Not only this, but it has been observed by others that most of those affected are smiling, grinning, laughing, or expressing signs of happiness during many of the interviews conducted with them - even hours and days after the tragedy, as well as beyond. This behavior, as pointed out by many, is extremely atypical and unusual.
• Moreover, a great deal of the family members have been emotionally and mentally stable enough to provide interviews with the mass media, even delivering speeches in public venues and in front of large crowds, including lobbying efforts and fundraiser events - even wearing professional clothing, makeup, and fancy jewelry, all of which is a striking lack of the social withdrawal, emotional breakdown, and lack of self-regulation that would be highly expected in the days, weeks, and months following such a tragic situation of this scale.
• Even more so, none of the family members have expressed any anger towards the perpetrator or their family. In fact, many people have pointed out that they have shockingly voiced their forgiveness of the culprit and his loved ones - even just hours and days following the incident - and stated things such as (in paraphrase):
“It’s okay that my child didn’t get to celebrate their birthday planned for the day after the tragedy. I know that they are having a great time in Heaven with their fellow classmates”
And when one father was explicitly asked by a reporter (just one day after the incident) why he didn’t express any sense of rage as expected, he responded:
“God gave the criminal the free will to do what he wanted, just like we call have the free will to do whatever we want” _(paraphrased)_
These shocking statements not only divert from the normal expected response of an individual who had just lost their baby in a brutal and horrific fashion just hours earlier, but is exactly what one would expect in the scenario of warding off attention to a potentially underlying agenda beneath the situation at hand (according to some people’s opinion, of course).
On top of all this, it has been noted that none of the families have filed lawsuits against the school system, nor the police department, nor the perpetrator’s family - all of which is extremely common, expected, and valid in the days following the tragedy. This is despite the fact that there appears to have been many errors and signs of negligence on the part of law enforcement, the school, and other parties - which could have easily (and justifiably) been sued for their negligence and failure to protect those poor first-graders.
Now according to some: ALL of these traits _might_ be explainable if it was displayed by just one, or perhaps a couple of the families; but the fact that _all twenty-six large families_ displayed these shockingly atypical reactions and breaches of normal human patterns of emotion - is statistically highly improbable, and thus justifiably worthy of arousing suspicion, or at the very least a great deal of confusion (in the view of many).
Of course, this is just what other people say. I don’t necessarily hold this view myself, and my heart goes out to all those affected by the horrific tragedy. But just to respond to your own comment - I wanted to point out that it’s not ALWAYS necessarily “confirmation bias” that is at play, if we analyze the situation objectively. But indeed, we need to watch out for such biases. And RIP to all victims.

I have Adam Lanza's disability and I can tell you that going to public school is 13 years of utter hell. The girl that said "he wanted to be left alone and we left him alone" is lieing through her teeth. It's very true he wanted to be left alone but I can guarantee that kids don't just leave alone someone who is different and can't pull off the normal "cool" exactly the same as everybody else persona that students are expected to be in society. Kids don't know what Adam Lanza suffers from and just bully him like anyone else who is different. (Just troll someone on Call of Duty and you will quickly find out how much kids know about autism.) The fact that people can't figure out the motive for the shooting boggles my mind. One can only take so much shit upon thy head before they snap. We can't stop kids from bullying people but there is another way to solve the problem: Secure your guns if you have a victim of 13 years of nonstop harassment living in your house. If his mother wasn't dead she should be charged with 26 accounts of accessory to murder. I have the exact same disability as this kid had and when I've bought guns (not a bushmaster, that would be embarrassing) I go tell the guy at the gunstore what I want and have a gun in my hand a week later with absolutely no investigation into my mental stability what so ever. If Adam was a matter of months older he could do the same and wouldn't have to have an idiot mother to commit a crime like this. It's very clear we need some changes in our gun laws, but it's gonna be hard to make that happen without everyone crying about "the government taking my guns away" or "the terrorists win" or some other bullshit sensationalist complaint like that.

Yup it's funny, they were all smiles just days after or a day after in Robbie Parker's case. And they were all forgiveful too.
Look closely at the expressions of people in the news footage, the nurse in this interview, the kids interviewed (some interviewed at the scene without parents protectively wrapped around them, no hysterical tears)...there's very little emotion, untimely smiles...just odd really.

I'm really tired of seeing the words 'hoax' or 'conspiracy' all over the comments of these videos. You people say you would be happy if some kind of evidence were released but I get the feeling that even if you assholes were inside the building the moment it happened you'd still call it a hoax. As far as people not seeming 'human' in their reactions or reacting in 'fake' ways, how does anyone respond to a tragedy like this? No one could ever imagine something like this happening and when it does happen people are completely stunned by it, they don't know how to react! Hell I don't know how I would react to having my kid or someone I know or work with shot dead and I definitely don't think I would want to open my eyes and look around if a first responder to a shooting was telling me not to look, I don't care if I work as nurse where I would see people die all the time in brutal ways I still don't want to live with the image of seeing colleagues or children that I know brutally murdered, that is extremely upsetting and these people that actually did experience it have to take the images with them wherever they go. I don't really care if you believe it to be true or not but I just wish that some of you people would be more considerate of those who lost children, colleagues, and/or friends in this tragedy because regardless of what you think happened (or in this case didn't happen) it's still very real to them.
