When we hear about a child being shot and killed, it’s always shocking. But when you hear about an entire classroom of children being shot to death...how do you even begin to describe that? It’s unreal.

It’s even more shocking that law-enforcement watched him walk inside the campus and still proceeded to do nothing for 70 minutes. Such a huge step backwards when it comes to the safety of children.
@@daixer3156 you can plan all day about avoiding & taking safety measure. but when it comes down to it, no body is ever prepared for something like that. especially children who are under 10 years. In both instances all the teacher did the best they could.

He was born with Asperger’s syndrome and he had a rough life growing up he didn’t feel like he fit in anywhere he kept to himself and he didn’t talk much, he was shy and he had sensory issues too he didn’t like certain foods his mom made he didn’t like how loud she walked through the house he didn’t like when he was touched he was a mess he didn’t know how to deal with his anger or depression he got sick of it and decided one day to kill little kids in a school he use to go to he killed his mom cause he thought that she cared more about the students than him but she was stay at home mom he didn’t like to go anywhere he liked staying where he was

I’ve done a tone of research on him and I’ve been reading a lot about his condition trying to get inside his head and see what went wrong, he’s not easy to figure out cause there’s people saying different things and it’s confusing but I have a book on Asperger’s and it’s giving me insight on how he thought and what he felt etc so I’m starting to understand him a bit more than I have in the past
The police entering the building immediately saved many lives. I wish that could have been the case in the Texas school shooting at robb elementary. What’s crazy is the killer did the same thing killed his grandma and drove to the school

So tragic,, imagine being a kid in just another day in school and all of a sudden you staring down the barrel of a military grade assault rifle with a dude dressed in bullet proof cloths on the other end,, its just crazy,, i get that getting guns out of circulation is hard, but for crying out loud, stop the gun companies from making more of them,,I'm from Africa and I've never seen a simple handgun let alone a semi auto AR 15,yet am over 20 years old ,if I have a nervous breakdown the best I can do is use a knife or axe or sharp object to maybe injure one or two pple, but putting weapons of mass casualty in circulation will only result in this,, and yet all i hear us politicians say is background checks,, just go after the guns!!! I wonder what type of mass killing would have to occur to trigger a ban on guns
Actually, they waited to enter the building. Then they waited to move once they entered the building. And when they finally reached the 2 classrooms, they waited even longer before ever stating to dispatch that they had a real crisis on their hands. And worst, they never declared an MCI. All of this led to many of the victims who sustained survivable wounds to bleed out to death all while first responders were right there. So not that different from Texas at all. I guess when a shooting happens at an Elementary school, they wait until it's all done and everyone is dead before acting like first responders.

This is the worst shooting in world history. Never before had someone targeted 4 and 5 year okds. This guy was a true monster. The worst of them all.
It was actually 6-7 year olds he targeted but I couldn't agree with you more. This shooting was the first one I ever heard about. I was 10 years old and it really shook me to my core. I remember sitting at the kitchen table on the laptop my brother and I shared and reading article after article of the destruction that he caused. It truly was, and is still heartbreaking.

@@321cast6 Which he did. He shot them I'll assume from my past research some 50+ times, if you've ever seen what one 556/223 round does to the human body, imagine that 50 times more. He started about 10 feet away and then got so close that tile particles falling down or coming out of the room left themselves all over the rifle. Out of all of the autopsy / post mortem photos I've seen, I don't ever want to see what was done to those children.

I was in kindergarten when this was happening and I saw my teacher in shock. I got home and my mom told and at the age of 6 that 20 kid my age were killed and I’m thankful I’m alive. As a kid living in Connecticut it is even more scary

i went to madison school in CT at the time it happened. i remember school all but stopping, the teachers started crying, and our parents had to come pick us all up. i remember my ma crying in the car, telling me. i was 11 or 12 at the time. so many of us were scared to go back to school. our school’s entire front of the building was glass windows, and i remember everyone saying how easy it’d be to shoot up our school.
Im glad that they started letitng police go in right away after columbine. It took them like 6 hour to go in

The Newtown Bee published an article referencing a privacy bill that was signed by the parents of the victims and survivors. Subtract the names of the victims, you have left the families of the survivors.

My friend could’ve died that day if she didn’t come to our school. Some of her friends sadly passed away. I’ve never asked who her friends where out of respect, rest in peace everyone except for the killer who died that day.

His mother was careless and delusional. Why those weapons were not locked up when her child, which she knew, had ASD and OSD, and he should have been institutionalized, is beyond me. This mass shooting is the mother's fault as much as it was Adam's fault.

Gene Rosen's story is too unreal. He lived next to the fire station. Why didn't he just take the kids over there? Or rather, why didn't the bus driver take the kids over there instead of to a stranger's house? Gene's house and the fire station is right next to the road that goes down to Sandy Hook. Gene said those kids were at his house for over 30 minutes. They said cops got there within 6 or so minutes, as did parents. Gene would have seen what was going on outside. Also the firemen at the station said they didn't know what was going on until cops started showing up. Even Gene said he heard the gun shots but thought people were hunting. Hunting? Hunting in the middle of a residential town?
Why was there NO RESOURCE OFFICER at the school?

WRONG! Official story states that he shot out the window, killed Sherlach and Hochsprung, then WENT INTO THE MAIN OFFICE. Walked around, left and went down the NE hallway. Investigators DO NOT KNOW which room he went into first, but if he shot out the window at 9:35 which was the EXACT time Soto's survivors were seen in the parking lot after witnessing their teachers and classmates get killed, one would assume it was Sot's class first (but not true at all according to the official timeline and timeline given for eye witnesses that saw the kids. The hallway from the main office went rooms 12,10,8 on the left. So if you are suggesting that he went to Rousseau's first, then your arrow in your quite animation is wrong.
Also, 9 students ran, only 2 survivors were found in the BATHROOM in Soto's room, not 7 in a closet.

You Americans lost the right to bare arms after Columbine.
Why can’t schools have security? Why can’t schools have a system of lock down . As soon as the sound of something teachers can determine is not normal for a school day … why can’t there be a safety button .. allowing that teacher to call an alarm that also immediately locks the door to that particular classroom… this in turn brings a trickle down effect to classrooms further away for example - I mean we are so technologically advanced , systems that are designed to work in conjunction with adjacent classrooms , even have audio abilities for the teachers to share emergency codes …. So that an elaborate and well designed lock down takes place so the teacher can instruct students to all either huddle in a classroom closet whatever is needed during such situations…. Have exceptional control to ensure measures that would make any disruption any disgusting monster unable to gain access, to gain control and of classrooms … then perhaps while these rooms are on secure lockdown… the criminal doesn’t have such freedom he can then be disoriented… while some of the trained staff at the higher levels can subdue him … then police come … can gain access immediately knowing hallways are free … and eliminate the monster who in these cases has been able to destroy not only teeny little innocent children but their siblings, their parents , their grandparents, their cousins … disrupting entire families for what ? Because he was 1 disturbed individual???
Schools have to get a program … schools also have to get a few trained staff who can defend …. As in when a crazy person comes thru the window … the principal may get caught off guard but she knows and has been prepared to find and point her weapon at the monster …. Perhaps saving 100100 of lives …

@@hack_jackjk4134 A simple picture would have worked as well. Columbine has a photo of both shooters with a timestamp back in 1999. This happened in 2012 and there is no photos or video of Lanza entering or walking down the hall.
So a kid has the weapons and capabilities of a marine. Sounds like a full on assault. Where did this 20 year old get his training. Shot out a window like a marine. Goes to each classroom and kills everyone. Sounds like multiple shooters and professionals.
