Actually this is one of his most difficult cover he ever did. I know it doesn't look very impressive but the independence you need to play this stuff is out of this world. Fun fact, the easiest part of the cover is when he's blasting the double bass at the end.
Your reaction & analysis of El Estepario’s cover is really professional & compelling . El Estepario actually made this song evolve to another level , what a marvelous performance 👏👏👏
Hello, I just watched your blinding lights reaction and now I’m going through your catalog looking for more El Estepario videos. Having about as much ability to play an instrument as a goldfish, I can appreciate hearing your take on the technical skills he is utilizing. I’m sure you’ll eventually check out his one hand drumming 🤯 but you I think you should check out The Bongo Song. From what I learned, the original song was played by 2 drummers. He actually has two vids of that song. Watch the second version done with his new set up.
I thought the bongo sounds going along with the music was pretty cool, although I'm glad he continued on to drums after a while. The tambourine use was interesting. Have to say I don't think I've seen that with another drummer. I remember Haruna from Lovebites saying her bass pedals are set as light as possible, (which makes sense since she double pedals throughout entire songs) and I would think his might be as well so he can get that super accelerated beat. I noticed towards the end he did that rapid fire with one stick, something I think he is kind of known for at around 8:29. He does look like he is having fun!
Oh man Guy. This dude is blowing up right now. People are not used to seeing some of the things he can do. I can honestly say I’ve seen and heard some amazing drummers but this guys is right up there. Wow
Love your reaction and breakdown, even talking about his mindset and the fun he's having- there's so many haters out there that really don't get (or appreciate) what he's actually accomplishing on the kit cause they're too busy trying find anything wrong ¿ good job
His latest video (4 pedals), his covers of Eminem’s “Godzilla” and Muse’s “Knights of Cydonia” demonstrates not just the speed of his feet but his incredible ability in sustaining the precision. As for the slowing down (time modulation), check out his “Tears for Fears” cover.
Love your reaction and break down of EES drumming......you can see he's concentrating on the drumming until he nails the 4 pedals madness......amazing!! I agree with you aswell that he does these covers with different drumming elements to challenge himself. Check out his cover of Eminem- Godzilla track.....you dont need drum machines when EES around 👍🤟

He could have his own show without anyone else! I am just mesmerized every time I watch him!
He sure could and does with his RUclips channel. I really enjoy seeing what he can do and his arranging is awesome.
