I’ll translate this for ya. He slides the rear foot back so that the face is closed to his foot line. This also slows the hips down allowing the arms and hands to get there faster which produces a left ball.
He starts the club behind the ball so that his shoulders are square or slightly closed rather than slightly open. This allows the back swing to work slight to the inside further helping him swing down the foot line which is right of the target. Pretty much every tour player hits draws this way

Pitching in baseball helped me understand ball spin off the club face. Clockwise spin will create a fade or slice, counter-clockwise will often create a draw or hook. Top spin is good for staying low under wind or just for more roll on the fairway. Basically control the spin by controlling the swing path/ plane.

Great tip. I love set up tips. I can't stand when people try to give swing tips and act like said tip works for everyone. This set up tip probably works for most people
Rahm hits a fade!
He naturally does, but this is what Rahm does whenever he comes across a hole that favors a draw and wants to hit one. It closes his club face slightly leading to that draw.
I had a major hook draw and all I did was grab a stronger grip and scooted about 3 inches into the ball
Rather than continuing to put the ball forward, what you are really doing is keeping the head behind the ball through impact, allowing the club head to naturally release through the ball. Theoretically, if you allow a slight turning of the head in the back swing where your nose would be pointed behind the ball and keep it there while everything else swings through the ball, you should see similar results.

Try feeling as if the butt of the club is always in front of your torso, also the forearms must cross each other for the club head to square, feel like this is happening a little before or right at impact for a draw trying to hold the club face square equals an open club face, 9 to 3 drill helps to get the feel for this. Open to 9 close to 3 on The swing plane keep the butt of the club directly In front of you, the rotation of your body and the bending of the right arm and wrist cock moves it along the arc

This worked for me. I tried this from another. RUclipsr. Works like a charm.
Yeah well it's actually a hook(pull draw) . Cause it's starts left of target line and landing zone as well is left of target line. A draw should start right of the target and then slowly turn back left back on target.
Rahm prefers hitting a fade lmao. And while increasing your aoa will help most people this is not a draw it’s just a pull. Doing this with poor swing mechanics will result in a ridiculous dispersion of hard pulls and massive slices. For those really looking to learn to hit a draw- face at the target, feet/body aligned 30yrds right of target, then regrip the club to align the with your body but keeping the face at the target. Then just swing straight down your foot line. Enjoy out driving your friends
Jon uses this technique to hit draws. His normal shot shape is a fade you are correct but he uses this exact technique for the odd occasion he needs to draw the ball off the tee.

bruh I been doing that for a while and still don't draw the ball lmao. I think there's more to it than just putting the ball further ahead for some
IF i bring the ball back in my stance it reduces my cut, bring it back 2" and see if it improves.
You must tilt the spine to the right or away from the target if you’re not already doing this it will feel like your right side is really low at impact, feeling awkward is change which is good vertical drop horizontal tug down your intended target line which would be right of target for draw feel like your head stays back while everything else goes exaggerate it at first

depends where the target was he never said...he got the shot shape he was looking for, so if he can repeat it and start it right of the target thats all that matters.

@@mrsusan893 I’m a + 3 handicap and my game is great and I have around 115 swing speed but I struggle mostly with the driver so now here recently I started teeing it higher, starting my club six inches behind the ball, tilting my shoulders at address and transferring my weight to my back foot earlier in the take away. These things within the last to months helped me go from carrying a low bullet around 275 to 280 to being able to carry it 300 yards relatively easy. YOU DONT KNOW ME so stop hating on genuinely good golfers when your just insecure about your own game…..

Listening to the various comments on this video are comical. Any pro worth his salt (myself) would see that on your first swing the left elbow lost connection and it didn't on the second swing. Even your own description is wrong. Anybody watching, just setup, then take your left elbow and move it out from your body, the clubhead immediately opens and you have no choice but to hit a fade/slice If you do that through impact. Controlling connection is one of the keys to a good swing and it is talked about fewer than most other aspects.
