    ABOUT DANNY
    -----------------------
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!
I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.
On RUclips and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.
Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble
I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

I did smile when I read 5 ways to improve my slice 😂 My slice doesn’t need improving, it’s a perfect slice already!! 😂

  • @sneak-a-leek2135

This will be my 88th video on “How to stop your slice” while using a driver. Interesting enough-none have stopped my slice. I’m going to start by standing completely to my left of the fairway, strike and slice the ball to the right, maybe then will the ball fall right in the middle of the fairway. Happy golfing folks!

Thanks coach! I'm korean, also living in south korea. I'm left handed but started gold with right-handed golf club several years ago. I have big trouble with golf swing because of slice. so i gave up golf with right haded and changed into natural(left-handed) golf play 1year ago. although my golf swing with slice improve, i have also problem with swing mechanism. This video is grEEEAAt helpful to fix my swing mechanism. Thank you very much~~

#1 RUclips video I have seen on the driver swing. Simple, right to the point. Well done!

Thank you Danny. My game has been in the toilet the last few months. It has been so inconsistent, was not good for my health. Watching your videos created the eureka moment this morning on the driving range. I noticed I have been very rigid. Meaning my left leg was basically locked and I couldn't get the weight transfer needed during the swing so I would have all the weight on my right side. I was either hitting the ball fat or thinning it. But, this morning after watching many of your videos, I felt what I was not doing. A little drip of the left knee back and towards the ground and then on the down swing all the momentum created a smooth effortless swing with solid contact. I am not saying all swings were right on but enough to make me feel better going into my next round of golf. Also, to fellow golfers, do not try to kill the ball, slow and steady will win the race to a better shot.

  • @GlitchGadget72

I like this video because I see most of these things by people around me at the ranges and on the course and some of them I have done myself, but if you’re saying these are the 5 things that everyone does wrong you forgot the most obvious 6th.

I’m 54 years of age have been happily married for nearly 30 years have two wonderful children and have had a successful career but I cannot explain the sheer joy of nailing a driver right down the middle. So many thanks Danny 😂

I hesitate to write this out of fear of jinxing myself, but I think you may have cured my slice. I just finished a very frustrating round this morning where I sliced every tee shot. I hit the driving range afterward and tried tips #1 and #2 from this video with only a little bit of success. But then I changed my top hand grip WAY more than I thought was needed and I started hitting everything straight for the first time ever. I think my grip was so weak that even moving it a little bit towards a stronger grip felt like overkill. But once I just accepted that the new grip was going to feel strange at first I started to get some good results. Thanks, Danny!

  • @oneshotonekill2997

I went to the range today after watching this video, changed my grip, and within 2-3 shots I was hitting the ball straight. Thank you so much. Still a lot of work to be done but my confidence is way higher now when I hit my driver/irons

  • @propete2006

Of all the rubbish content with "secret advice" to fix a slice over the years, this is by FAR the best video I've ever seen that sums up the best advice I've had over the years! Subscribed! 👍

  • @lemons20

I watched this video after hitting a driver for the first time in my life, almost all shots were slicing.

You can always tell who is a really good teaching pro when the first thing they talk about is grip. GRIP is the #1 most important aspect of golf that constantly gets overlooked. Grip will solve the majority of your performance issues. I'm subscribing just based on the fact you addressed grip first

Dude, you are the man! You are the only guy I have seen that actually hits the ball more often. So many guys love to talk to much and show no actual shots. I personally learn by watching someone actually hitting the ball rather than just talk about it too much. Keep the great vids coming. Thanks so much!

Only been here for a few months, 10 consecutive slices then almost like a firework going off, bang, got my first hook and another and another, then a few random straight down the middle.
