Thank you, my Sioux brothers and Sisters. I saw a Crazy Horse behind Neil. Must have been the Lakota brothers visiting us. Thank you Black Elk, my Teacher!
He is the epitome of a musician/singer. He doesn’t have the best musical voice but there is something so special about his sound. His songs will live on forever
I am 65 and when I was young and still living at home would play his vinyl on my parents stereo and I’d play Neil young and my dad who didn’t listen to much of the new music would always tell me to play Neil Young’s Sugar Mountain. He loved that song.

I met Neil with Darryl 2 years ago, quickly shook his hand, he introduced himself, he said "Hi I'm Neil Young " as if i didn't know ! I just couldn't how gracious he was. I didn't stuff my phone in his face I just cherished the moment and walked away. such an Icon 💯
Lots of people have talent, but none are as emotionally courageous, uncompromising, artistically curious, and astoundingly sturdy as Young. He is in a category that doesn't include anyone else. You know that game where you choose any three people from history you'd like to have dinner with? I think I'd pick Groucho Marx, Jesus, and Neil Young.

This was honestly the best part of Farm Aid. Even from a weathered, old Neil and Crazy Horse there was so much energy. The stadium was shaking during that opening jam session.

Too bad you didnt live near Peterborough, ontario, canada. Neil and Crazy horse would jam at the Red Dog tavern before most tours to shake out their set. It could hold all of 100 people packed. They never let on when they would be there though. His parents live in the area.
Like the previous message I am 63 and first heard this on American Stars and Bars import in 1979, have been listening ever since .... rock and roll like no other!
I'm not going to bash anyone, what for? Long live Neil (and Crazy Horse), greatness personified & true soul survivors. Thanks for sharing, farmaid, after watching it this morning I'm going to work on such a natural high and a silly grin plastered on my face.

If Neil isn't the most talent rocker of all time, then he is certainly among them. He has never become stale by writing the same song over and over again. He can rock out with crazy horse or grab an accoustic and his harmonica and go on stage alone. He is one of the few who I can set aside his political views and just listen to the music.
