Ok, the first time I saw Mr. Young was in 1970 during the Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere tour. Since then I have seen him with or without Crazy Horse 15 times. I cannot get enough of this young man.
Brilliant to see a Genius like Neil who loves music and gives it absolutely 100% on stage every night. Never see his likes again. Long live the King Neil Young

My favorite version of this song. The chorus is monumental, half angelic, half battle cry.
I was 20yrs old when I went to this gig. My mate and I drove up from Hastings, and we stood perhaps 10 people or so from the front-right of the stage. My mate only knew Neil Young because of Rockin' In The Free World, but he was blown away by the set. It was a particularly great one that night, including a semi-impromptu Old Man, and A Day In The Life where Paul McCartney joined on stage.
But there's something ethereal about this edition. The crowd during the chorus were LOUD. Glad it comes across here. I think this is his best version of this song, perhaps in his entire career.
We only had a day ticket, though. Springsteen was on the Sunday. But we had such a good time, we abandoned the car for the night (thankfully, I didn't get a parking ticket!), and we stayed up all night to wait for Springsteen on Sunday. We watched from a bunch of crates, trash, and boxes people had set up outside of the concert area. Magical. God, I miss those days.

I got to see Neil and Crazy Horse when I was 15, in 1982..such an amazing live experience. The greatest memories are the hardest ones to create. My buddy and I hitch hiked 290 kilometres to the show and had to sleep in the bushes on the side of the road on the way home after the concert. We eventually made it home the following afternoon..with a memory that is unable to be forgotten.

I was 15 in 1985 when I saw Neil Young and Crazy Horse live in Melbourne Australia at Festival Hall. It was the first rock concert I ever went to. I was almost deaf for a week afterwards!. Yaay Nei Young !! I have seen every Australian concert tour he has done since then .
I got this cranked in surround sound. 2022 and that guitar solo is mind blowing forever! Thank you for sharing!

He's a prolific songwriter. Stills once joked that the CSNY guys took a break to write tunes individually. They brought back what they had. CSN each wrote 5-10 songs and Neil had 100 +. Dude generates material

No denial from God, we have not taken advantage of our personnel gifts given us as much as Neil...Young "is passionate and talented, and he practices." He had to struggle when young, read his history, family trouble, physical mental. Neil Young has taken life by the short hairs and squeaked out every drop...

Rick Rosas, one of those Bass Players that defines what Bass Guitar is supposed to be. Thundering and all encompassing without overbearing, just gets right down in your body and makes you move, the foundation and balls of music along with the drums man just a couple of madmen down in the basement mixing up the medicine.😎

Probably the neatest thing about Neil is that, while he is able to do his ballads unplugged & w/harmonica, he also understood as well as any musician *_how to produce that hard-rocking powerful concert hall sound that everybody loves, but still seasoned with his knack for melody._*
As all the fans have testified Neil is so fzzzzking YES< I said KING, he can start our journey with one note, his bent body gyrating all over the stage, he makes us FEEL, his awesome sound coming out of his body is why we love, we crave, we need his testimony for our record of being human, Takes me out with one note, carries me forever will I run thanks Neil, I mean it.

I've been listening to Uncle Neil since I was knee-high to a grasshopper, late sixties!
I'm sixty-three, almost sixty-four, years old! Uncle N must be in his late seventies (to early eighties almost?)! Never too old to rock and roll! This is one of the greatest jams ever! Go, "Crazy Horse Uncle"!... And Crazy Horse themselves, each and every one of them, going back too! I think the only jam that comes before this one is Chicago and/or Steve Windwood's and Spencer Davis Group's, "I'm A Man"! Well, can't leave out Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven"! Or some of Clapton's jams, eh? "I suppose... Eddy, are you kiddin'?!---Frank Zappa!! Rock and Roll will NEVER die!!!!!
In 7th grade I saw Neil/Crazy Horse touring to support this LP....(Everybody Knows.........Nowhere)....I've always been an unwavering fan. It's amazing how well his music has help up over the years. Here I am some 44yrs later still enjoying still enjoying Neil's version of "Down by the River!"....probably even more now than at age 12. This is but one song still viable with millions of NEW/Younger fans. Rock on neil! Thanks for your major contribution to the "Soundtrack of MY life!"

He moves like a zombie, plays guitar like a madman possessed, his soul is relentless with energy, hardcore raw electric genius....Rock, jazz, blues, every chord and riff, fucking deadly!! My profile pic - That's me in front of the very same stage as they set up. Posted a few raw videos of my own - trfcpepe. We went to New York in 2007 as we felt Neil would not tour the UK again following his 2005 brain aneurysm. How wrong we were! His UK tour was announced as I sat looking at reviews in our hotel since then we have seen every tour in the UK. An absolute legend! Long May He Run.

I am so blessed to have witnessed Neil and Crazy Horse 4 times in my life all of them incredible unforgettable shows. I had the privilege of seeing Neil Young in Pittsburgh around 1987 at the Civic Arena , which is a parking lot now. It was unbelievable. I was a young kid watching one of my heroes live. I’d love to see him again. Keep on rocking, Neil.

Neil Young and crazy horse are the best live bands to see and they don't tour that often you haven't seen a rock and roll band like them trust me you get a chance to see them don't pass it up
I'm only 35 years old. Such a shame that this guy does'nt tour anymore in Europe. I hope he still rocks in 2021 because that's the year i'm gonna visit my family in Seatle.
