I miss PoE from 5-6 years ago when there was no such thing as a build issue. It was either OP build (mostly thanks to trade) or decent build, nothing bad.

I still can today, but people will spam "build issue" as soon as they spot something they would do differently. Now when you reach epilogue, the game lags way more. That's the main problem. Builds have always been free. Copium is believing there's only a certain way to play this game.

I only wish they were better (A LOT BETTER) in the storytelling in PoE so far. In PoE 1 the storytelling is appalling, even mostly missing. There are just some random facts, random characters but barely related in a whole story. I REALLY hope it's so much much better in PoE 2. I really do. Because the only thing I am hyped about in PoE 2 so far is the WASD movement...
@@AzrisKMOBA arguably pay to win, by the point that u kinda have to buy stay tabs you will already have sunk in many many hours into a free game, still by far the most ethical monetization. sink in ~30 dollars into a free game and you will have these tabs forever. the tabs you pay for get updated with more slots as the game expands, the Fragments tab i paid for years ago has 3-4 times the slots in it compared to what i first bought, same with the currency tab

@@chillax319 Funny enough, that boss was called "The Prisoner", which is a bit strange. They probably changed it for Exilecon 2023 so it doesn't spoiler who it truly is, because lore masters will figure out the connections before the game releases 😅

My only experience with these sorts of games was Diablo II remake during its free beta thing. It was fun but it didn’t strike enough of a cord to decide to buy it. A few months ago I randomly got a gameplay video of this for the Druid. Suffice to say but it instantly drew me in. I’ve binged and rewatched all the gameplays they have put out since then. It seems like so much fun but I’ve never really gotten into the genre so I’m hoping it’s not too hard to learn and pick up.
So, POE 1 is very unforgiving to new players due to 2 things: the skill tree and crafting. I doubt POE2 will be as bad, but just in case, here are a few tips. 1. At least when starting out, have a rough idea of what you want to do. You can absolutely change what your character becomes, but try to follow a rough idea. It will make the process much smoother. 2: Health is most people's primary defensive layer. Early on, items that boost health as opposed to something like armor or evasion are probably going to be best. 3: The skill tree is BIG, and it is DENSE. It may look very overwhelming, but remember that your character will only be reaching a small portion of the tree. Keep the view narrow as you start out. 4: This game prides itself on letting you have multiple powerful skills, but as tempting as it will probably be to go overboard, try to focus on building two to 3 max when starting. There is a lot of customizability, and you are free to experiment, but try to get two skills that are useful in different ways to help you as you go. 5: Combat seems to be a lot more involved than POE1. Not every monster has to die. Sometimes, the best thing to do is run and regroup.

Man, I both love and worry about this. I start PoE around Ambush (where still 3 difficulty through 3 act) This trailer don't show much different from PoE1 I know. I understand that many change to system are better not mix in the trailer... but this give me a mix feeling a lot. I know that it will be PoE I adore, but what else can I expect from this one. We will see, we must see. BTW, A Settle is a nice send off to PoE2 We build a town and let them grow to be a place everyone can live happily. So we player can travel to somewhere else. Jeez, I just realize this, well play GGG.

I GOT THE CHILLS BACK FROM WHEN YORM THE GIANT WAS SCREEAMING HIS HEAD OFF.
i also loved elden ring from the bottom of my heart, but the fact, the "simple" fact that this game is free to play i think makes it steal the spotlight. yeah sure, you gotta spend a few bucks on tabs so you don't go insane, but i organised 1000h of currency until i got my currency tab because of how grasped I was into poe.
with so many companies going to ass quality triple A titles, you guys are making history.
i'm just too stupid and overwhelmed with joy to put what i feel in words.
humans may transcend other stupid shit, maybe make flyin' cars after tiktok dies but you guys are here for us, right here and now, i'm glad to be alive to see this launch.
i luckly got to the point where i can spend a bit on games, but imagine the eyes of the kids that hopefully play this masterpiece instead of playing roblox or fortnite ( no hate for the games, good that they have the succes they have, but they ain't even close to what you guy's are making )
