About two week I walked into my bathroom and saw two mice doing it right there on my lay down carpet. They looked at me and I stared back and said, "Really, on my carpet" they knew they got caught but when they bounced out of there I found their entry & exit point where they scattered too, traps set and caught them both and put a end to their sexcapade on my rug. I took the twins great and powerful wisdom and put it to use and now I'm rat/mouse free.

It's really great to see how excited these guys are about their job and catching even a single rat. Everything they talk about I can definitely attest to. I do trapping jobs now and then and whether it's rats,squirrels, foxes, or raccoons, you have to know how they react to every situation and know what drives them, otherwise you'll never catch them. But I absolutely love these guys' enthusiasm!

Since I closed all the entry points last summer, the rats have not been back in the attic. Last night, I saw a rat running along the middle runner of my backyard fence. I am going to screw down a couple of rat traps on the fence and see what happens... thanks for the idea...

We used to have a huge mice problem in our basement so bad for a couple years they were grtting upstairs into our kitchen I was finnaly tired of it and our downstairs was basically a huge mess so i cleaned it all out just me and boy there was lots of mice poop i cleaned everything and now our basement is so nice even my room is down there now and when i first got it all cleaned out mice were confused and didnt know what to do or go so we caught a BUNCH founs some entry points going into our laundry room put mice traps blocking em off and once they all got used to they just started to leave no exterminator or nothing just me cleaning its crazy what kind of a difference it can make. Just wanted to share my story but yeah,I love your guys videos and watch them all the time keep up the great work 👍

Dave how can I start working with you guys? SERIOUS question. Im 25 working in a pest control company doing exclusions. I’m not as experienced as you guys but I LOVE learning from your videos and have applied it to my craft with my company. Unfortunately I’m very limited on materials and tools to help me figure out the bigger jobs. I’d like to learn plumbing and dry wall like you guys do because I know it’s a key thing to know when dealing with certain rodents. You guys are the best!

As a landlord with a nice rental house, I provide monthly pest control treatment included in the lease at my expense. Lots don't do that, but I think it's in my interest to protect the house. If a tenant developed a rat problem, and I found it was because of their lifestyle (dirty dishes left, food left out, not keeping the living space clean, etc,) I would expect the tenant to rectify that. And then I'd be looking for a new tenant.
I am a landlord too in Sacramento. No dogs allowed in the lease agreement. When you do your inspections, check if the tenants are food hoarders. Most are slobs and will put food on counters, refr. and on the floor. If you're comfortable evicting them, then do it. The sooner the better. Good luck
It’s your duty as a landlord to provide a house that rodents can’t get into. It doesn’t matter if the dog food is there the rats gonna go in the kitchen and eat the food that’s left out on the counter or in the cupboard.

I've had a pest control come to my house last week.
Hie came on Tuesday a week from today and looked around the exterior of my house then stood on my ladder with only half his body in the attic entrance and shone his light around my attic.
He came down from the attic and said he was doing pest control with a long time and in his "professional opinion" there wasn't rats in my walls and attic because he didn't see evidence of rats and didn't smell them.
So that night I caught a shrew in the attic and my panic went away.
Until the next morning when there was a young rat in a trap in my attic. The fest and panic set in again do I contacted him again and told him I caught a young rat. I sent him pictures of the young rat and he said he will come to have another look in a few days. Again the next day there was another young rat in a trap in my attic and they were in my walls.
He came back a few days later and he had another look in my attic. He went up into the attic but just at the attic entrance.
This time he said he could smell them but didn't see how they were coming in from outside my house.
So we went tou neighbours house that's attached to my house. He looked around her garden , exterior walls and attic.
He said he saw trails in her garden where the rats are going and he saw a hole in my neighbours exterior wall that the rats are going up into the attics and he saw much more evidence in her attic of rats than my attic.
He gave me a few traps to put in her attic and Her attic and went away.
He came back today Tuesday a few days later and filled the hole with expanding foam (he claims it's rodents proof expanding foam with bits of aluminium in it) and set a bait station and went away.
I'm confident this will not solve the problem and I've contacted a different company because this guy just done the bare minimum without trying to properly find the problem.

How are they getting up there
I have a side question. I am about to do some floor repairs, add more frame work to my kitchen. This part of the house sets on the ground and I am a bit concerned about opening up the floor and what I might find under there. Could there be mice or rats or snakes. I live in Columbia, PA right in town. I live alone and wonder if I should have another person here when I do this incase there is a problem or some animal I find under there. I already will be partly blocking off the rest of the house but it won't be perfect due to having to get into that room to work on the floor, and I don't want the outside door open out back the whole time for the same critter reason.
If your going to this extent and your concerned about live animals, just cut a small hole in the floor and point a wi fi camera down into the floor area, monitor for a few days, this will confirm. You opening the floor and having someone there is not really going to do anything because any live animals will be hiding. Hope this helps and good luck 🍀👍

I am a landlord. NEVER ALLOW YOUR TENANTS TO HAVE A DOG. The tenant doesn't care about the liability concerning the dollars spent to maintain health and safety in your home. Ever since I stopped the dogs, the rentals are vermin free. Unfortunately the roaches are ongoing. At least that situation is less expensive.

Rats will eventually become wise to that new hood over the trigger. Then you will have to figure out a new way to catch them.
Apparently 70% of rats are now immune to poisons and 98% of mice are immune to poison.

Would the rat vacuum device work on flying squirrels in an attic.
Call a wild life addiction specialist. If they are having babies up there, you don’t want the babies to die and stink up the place. And eviction specialist will put an exclusion device in the openings so that when they ask if they cannot come back in. The specialist will know the proper timing to do this.. then you will need to seal everything up because without doing that the problem we’ll just come back.

If you have a dog learn to live with rats
Well I can't speak for Rats but for mice I take a three prong attack, Snap traps, Glue traps and home made bait stations. The first two I bait with Peanut butter and I use Cornbread mix & baking soda mixed in equal parts as a safe killer. I never knew that Rodents can't burp or regurgitate and it takes them a long time to pass gas so the baking soda ruptures their insides & kills them without mess.
Rats love all that clutter..
