Hey! You finally got the buxom boost! I’ve been telling you to get one for so many months! Lol. That’s my favorite pedal and my go to! There is a whole lot of gain in the boost knob for sure. Unity gain is at around 10:00 I think and below that it actually cuts. Also the EQ is an active EQ and the bass, mid, and treble have a lot of gain for each of those frequency bands too. Flat EQ which would be the same as bypassing is the bass and mid all the way to the left and treble at noon (there is a detent in the treble knob). Rotating the bass and mid knobs to the right add gain, same for the treble knob. But rotating to the left on the treble knob actually cuts treble. It is definitely an extremely versatile pedal. Glad to hear you like it! I think the more you play with it the more you will like it!
Very nice review! Hands down my favorite boost for metal rhythm guitars. Boosting the whole signal and being able to dial out just the right amount of bass is so nice (I actually rarely use the eq on it, but it's really nice to have when I want it). In very non-technical terms, I feel like the buxom boost just makes amplifiers roar
Awesome review! As another commenter said, the bass and middle controls are different than the treble control. For the bass and middle controls, fully counterclockwise is all the way off, while for the treble control, dead noon is off. I wish they made that more clear.
Thanks for commenting. Yeah, I don't understand why they make knobs do weird things. It makes no sense In my opinion, they should all have continuity regarding their settings

It's was a surprisingly good pedal. I really liked how it paired with the Kraken. It added a lot of edge, clarity and great feel and response
About to have one, this was a super useful post, thanks.

Thanks for commenting. Yeah, this pedal totally made a believer out of me.
The bass and mid controls are like a full sweep so all the way left is off completely, the treble is more standard the middle position is the middle

Great timing again! I have a Buxom Betty pedal on the way as we speak. Sounds fantastic here.
Absolutely dig mine, never leaves my board. By the way I'm a fellow Michigan resident...Kalamazoo...represent! Lol
Awesome!! Glad to see some local support.
How man db of boost does it give?
That's a good question. I wish I knew the answer to that
Thanks, now I have to go out and buy a Super Kraken. :)
Haha it's such a great amp. I love mine
