Dan Gower modded Marshall JCM 800, Phaez custom-made for me, Friedman BE50 Deluxe, Friedman SS100V2 and Landry LS100G3. All KILLER amps. Couldn't be happier!! (Just haven't gotten around to posting vids bc I have no recording equipment yet- don't want to use my cell.)
@@sir.shreddingtonJust got the Golden Pearl and it was worth it! It really does retain the character of my SS+ and I set it to have a little more girth so chugging is thicker and solos are more effortless and overall a little tighter and slightly brighter. It’s awesome!!
Cool review, Nice playing and Killer amp! I wanted to like this pedal but I just could not find the sweet spot for it with my BE-100 Deluxe. it wanted to get there, it was just missing something. It didn't do enough for to keep it on the board. Just my .02

Also have a question for you in hopes of quick answeer; so here goes: I'm looking for a transparent boost (mostly, addded overdrive might be a nice bonus) to be put in front of a studio Jubilee. Which one would you prefer; (over the other maybe) Friedman golden pearl or Exotic BB Preamp?

That pedal with that amp sounds amazing!!!And it does retain the character of the amp. If I decide my ss+ needs more I would get that pedal.

What amp were you playing it through? I think it’s designed for British or Marshall type amps.
