    Lulzbots are amazing machines particularly the types of lulzbot mini & taz I have a lulzbot mini from 2015 & a lulzbot taz workhorse & both are worth every cent sure you might pay more but it’s amazing brand for the cost

    So for the amount of filament (say pla) to print that octopus, how much would it cost for the material? Also does it print metal filament by chance?

    • @Lulzbot3D
      @Lulzbot3D  2 года назад +1

      You could probably do that print in 30g, a 1000g spool is $22.99 our machines can print a metal fill but a sintering step is required for true metal printing.

      @@Lulzbot3D ok. I'm thinking about buying a printer from yall and while I love the mini because of the self level and nozzle cleaning feature do any of the larger models do that as well?

      @@CursedWarrior100 You bet! We have found that those features work well and have self leveling and cleaning on the TAZ Workhorse and TAZ Pro. We also make the TAZ SideKick now.

    No way am I paying $1,500 for that tiny printer...😒. I’ll stick with 2 prusa i3s instead. They print just as good with any filament and have a larger print area and a heck of a lot more features. Heck I’ll take 3 CR-10s with upgrades over one of these.

      You're right but the prusa's are very open source and maybe not suited for people new to 3D-Printing, it really depends on the person. Happy printing!

      Kid Techie well yeah and don’t get me wrong lulzbot printers are reliable and they print good...but they are wayyyyyt over priced for what they can do...(not to mention they sell tool heads for 100s of $..ridiculous) good for industry..terrible for makers. Your printers are great lulzbot but they are out of date(especially the price)

    • @thedemonferrari
      @thedemonferrari 6 лет назад

      Also, prusa printers come with a FULL spool of filament instead of 25 grams

      Good luck finding good support and good people with the other printers, you get what you pay for.

      @@user-qe3fh9lw5y ur right i get what i pay for. I have to agree. For $1500 i get an ok overpriced printer with good support. For $600 i get a prusa i3 mk3 with everything i need + a bigger build volume and amazing support. Ive worked with taz printers before dont get me wrong and i get better results with my cr-10 printer. Yes lulzbot has good support, but creality has a huge community that makes up for it. Your right for $1500 i get one of the most over priced mediocre 3d printers out there.
